Pros: stellar quality of ingredients, well put together dishes cooked perfectly
Cons:

We went for lunch twice and we had the best meals of our whole trip here.

My husband had the Duck Meatballs and the Walnut-Crusted Salmon and both were fresh and deliciously tasty. The salmon stood out for it's balanced flavors and it was prepared perfectly, with a thin crispy crust and a moist and tender, fresh tasting inside. My 12 year old son had the burger and said it was the best at all of Disney as well. I had the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon, with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce and it was so good, words can barely describe it! The Filet was so tender and flavorful it was like no other filet I had ever had before. The risotto was wonderfully seasoned with the truffle butter really adding to the dish.

Le Cellier by FAR had the best Beef (Canadian AAA Beef Tenderloin ) in all of Disney, easily beating out Teppan Edo (good beef) and the Yachtsman (promising prime quality but delivering supermarket quality!)

We only had 1 reservation for Le Cellier booked for our trip but we simply had to come back and the staff was nice enough to help us find an opening later on during the week.

The pretzel bread did not disappoint but surprisingly none of us liked the cheese soup.
The desserts were excellent as well with the Maple Creme Brulee standing out as the treat to end a fantastic meal.

Our wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the pace of our meal was perfect with us being neither rushed nor delayed.

There is a reason that it's so hard to find an available reservation at this restaurant. The reason is that here you will find the best ingredients, well cooked in fantastic dishes in a relaxing and enjoyable setting, with friendly wait staff.

For Disney World Dining it doesn't get any better than this. Other restaurants at Disney Promise and don't deliver.... Le Cellier is the real deal!

Pros: food, service
Cons: none

This was the best meal I had while on vacation. The service was excellent as was the food. I was on the DDP so 2 dinner credits were used for the meal and it was worth it. For an appetizer, I had the lobster salad and it was wonderful. I also loved the bread sticks that were served. I would have preferred all pretzel bread instead of the 3 different types since it was so yummy. For my entree, I had the New York Strip. It was tender and delicious. It was so big I couldn't even begin to finish it. Then of course there was dessert, maple creme brulee, which was also very good. Loved...loved...loved...this place.

Pros: Great food and wait service
Cons: Poor management and reservation system

We made a reservation for ten people 180 days out so we could celebrate two birtdays and a wedding anniversary. When we arrived, they tried to seat us at two tables, a four and a six. We told the hostess that this was unacceptable, and went back to the lobby. Two discussions ensued, one with a guy in a suit, who I assume was the manager, and a woman with a clipboard (which appeared to give her some authority). The woman told some of our party that no restaurants in Disney World seat parties of ten! Funny, the ten of us were easily accommodated at three other onsite restaurants, and twelve of us were seated together in Restaurant Marrakesh, also at EPCOT. Lying to your customers is the epitome of bad customer service. Because we were celebrating, and had a reservation for an Illuminations Cruise, we relented and took the two tables. Our server, Katrina, understood that we were distressed, and did her best to smooth things over, and took our drink orders. Within a couple of minutes, the manager came back and told us they found a way to seat us together. Unfortunately, Katrina could not switch with us, and passed us off to Alex, who also went the extra mile for us. The whole mess cost us a fair bit of time, so our dinner was not as leisurely as we would have liked. On to the food: I had their signature Mushroom Filet Mignon, which was cooked to perfection and served with an excellent wild mushroom risotto and a truffle and herb butter sauce. This was one of the best steak dishes I've ever had, but at $40, it should have been. My wife had the Wild Pacific King Salmon. This was also very good, but at $44 seemed even more overpriced than the steak. She also had a side of Yukon Gold potatoes with truffle oil, which was incredible. The three cakes (two white and one chocolate) we got for the special occasions were good, but overly sweet. Sadly, we were running short on time due to the problems, and had to rush through the dessert. Disney dining needs to take a hard look at the management of this restaurant - they made what should have been a very special dining experience into a dissapointing one.

Pros: The food
Cons:

This was the best meal we had on vacation. We had an early lunch reservation and didn't have to wait more than ten minutes. We started off with the cheese soup, it was excellent along with the breadsticks. The fillet was outstanding. I didn't even need a knife to cut it. The mushroom risotto was the perfect addition. My husband had the strip and my daughter had the grilled steak. They both thought the food was great. This is a must do on our next trip.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, mushroom risotto filet
Cons: price

The bread loaves are smaller than in 2008. My husband still loves the mushroom filet although the risotto left something to be desired. My son had the house burger and it was incredible! I would not do this restaurant as a 2 credit on the dining plan but for lunch/1 credit it will stay on our to-do list.

Pros: Service, flavor, quantity
Cons: none!

A perfect 10!! The servers were awesome, even with our kids, (4, 3 and 1). The waiter explained how to best get our DDP's worth with virgin pina coladas, raspberry smoothies and the kids' shakes along with the usual drinks. We had the NY strip, chocolate whisky cake, pizza, hot dog, and the waiter even supplied another kids plate, free of charge (without us asking, mind you), for our youngest who did not have the DDP, but DID have an appetite! This restaurant is a MUST!

Pros: Nice cool quiet atmosphere
Cons: No children friendly food after 2:00

The food here was really great but the whole experience was dimmed by the fact that although the Walt Disney World website has a childs menu that includes pizza, apparently that menu ends after lunch. There is nothing on this menu that my 4 year old niece would eat so she had a supper of bread. I was disappointed that the server did not really offer any alternatives. I am supposed to believe the pizzas magically disappear after 2:00??

Pros: Service, ambience, food!
Cons: Small bathroom, hard to get ADR

I was worried about coming here on June 3rd because it switched to a 'signature' restaurant. I've always enjoyed coming here but was not sure how the restaurant had changed. Well, I was not disappointed! The service was excellent. The food was divine. I still got my favorite Filet Mignon and even the risotta was better than last time (less salt). We got our fill of pretzel bread and cheddar soup as well. My kids, my husband, and I all agreed this was the tastiest meal of the trip! I love this restaurant and am happy to report that it is still as tasty as ever!

Pros: food
Cons: hard to get reservation

We ate here on June 6, 2011. This is our 3rd time to eat at Le Cellier and it continues to please. This is by far the best food we have had at Disney! We have always had to make our reservation 6 months in advance.

The price we paid for 5 guests here was equivalent to what we paid for the lunch at Cinderella's table which was a dismal meal. The quality here at Le Cellier is second to none.

Pros: pretzel bread and cheese soup
Cons: tables too close, too much hype

I have been eating at Le Cellier on Disney vacations for over ten years, and I really miss the good old days before this became such a hyped restaurant. Now it's difficult to get a lunch reservation (which we often prefer simply because we don't like heavy meals late in the day). I did discover that dinner reservations seem easier to come by, thanks to the dining plan adjustments, but, since I never use a dining plan, I long for the days when this place was more "user friendly."

We dined here at lunch on June 11. As always, the pretzel bread and cheese soup were good. My daughter ordered the sausage and polenta appetizer and enjoyed it. She and I split a burger for our entree. Our meal was very tasty, and--after appetizers--one entree was more than enough for the two of us.

However, the tables are so close together in the restaurant that we felt as if we were dining with the mother and son next to us. We also knew all about the guests on the other side of us--including the man from Canada in Florida on business who was using the deluxe dining plan and the couple from Boston on vacation who did not use a dining plan. How do I know this about them? The tables are so close together that we could hear everything!

I overheard the host telling someone that "we always book up six months in advance" and a server telling a guest that "this is by far the most popular restaurant on Disney property." Those things may be true, but I rather preferred the days when the servers were simply friendly and the restaurant didn't take itself quite so seriously.

Pros: Small restaurant, good service, good food
Cons: 2 dining credits???? Nearly impossible to get reservations

Our third visit to Le Cellier in the past 14 months, we enjoyed June 4th lunch here; this is after the change to a Dining Signature Experience.
The menu hasn't changed significantly, while the food is still good (including the cheese soup), the lunch offerings make poor value of your sit down credit. The Prix Fixe menu offers some respite, but you can still order some of the standard dinner offerings. Quality is still very good, service attentive, and atmosphere great, but Disney's elevation to 2 table service credits IMHO speaks to Disney's greed.

It is still very difficult to get a reservation at but I expect this 2 credit change will reduce demand somewhat.

Pros: Friendly service and good food
Cons: Over crowded and lacks the signature dining feel

My husband and I ate here on 6/6/11. Le Cellier is a place we visit every time we come to Disney and have never been disappointed...until now. We both ordered the filet mignon, which was good; however, not up to standard. While we enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant, it is too crowded. I miss the "old" Le Cellier back in 2004 when this place wasn't as popular, wasn't over crowded, and also had much better food. Does anyone remember the filet with a lobster tail? Since this is a smaller place to dine, reservations are hard to get, which I think adds to the elusiveness of this place. This restaurant will no longer be on our "must do" list.

Cons: Nothing

We ate here for our last big meal (lunch). It was wonderful! I had the filet mignon and the s'mores. It was amazing!

Pros: Air Conditioned
Cons: Food quality & prices

We have been to Le Cellier for the last 5 years and were impressed every year until this year. We were seated in a dark corner of the dining room after coming in from the bright sun. I had to use my cell phone just to read the menu. We both ordered the the Chedder Cheese soup because it was a favorite of ours. This year it was so salty that I couldn't even eat it. At $9 a bowl it tasted like canned soup with 3-4 ounces of salt added. I ordered the Salmon, the waiter asked if I wanted it cooked medium. I had never heard of of cooking fish to different temps. When it arrived the top looked OK but when I flipped the fish over it looked like it had been cooked on the same flat top grill as the steaks & burgers, it was so charred I couldn't eat but about 1/2 of the entree. My wife had the steak which she said was a lower quality than last year but still OK. We both each had the soup, entree & 1 drink each and the wife had dessert. The total bill was >$110. I felt robbed and will not return for future dining until the prices are back to a NORMAL range and the quality is back.

Pros: The Steaks! Maple Creme Brulee! Risotto! Atmosphere
Cons: small space

This was our second trip to Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot. It was better than the first! We had lunch there (2 adults, 2 children) on 5/17. The steaks were divine, melt-in-your mouth! The mushroom risotto and cheddar cheese soup were also great! The maple creme brulee is delicious! My husband said it was the best dessert he had all week. The kids enjoyed the kids steak and side items. The seating is a little cramped, so don't expect any private conversations here, but the food is outstanding!
