Pros: Food, atmosphere, service
Cons: None

We ate dinner here on November 20. It was our son's 13th birthday and part way through the meal our server brought him a birthday card with personalize greetings from many of the staff working there than night.

My husband had the Chef's Favorite Prime Rib dinner with the Spicy Chicken and Chipolte Sausage appetizer, our son had the Chef's Favorite Chicken dinner with the Cheddar Cheese Soup, and I had the Musroom Filet. All were delicious! My husband and I had the Creme Brulee for dessert and our son had the Chocolate Mousse which was served with a candle on a plate decorated with Happy Birthday and Mickey balloons written in chocolate.

This restaurant will continue to be on our "must do" list when we are at Disney.

Pros: Incredible food
Cons: Service veeeeery slow

Our service was fairly attentive but very slow. I expected the bread to be served with the drinks, but it wasn't brought until the appetizer. The cheese soup is not to be missed!

Pros: Quality of the food
Cons:

This is the best meal at Epcot, by far. Our family loves this restaurant, even our 7 and 9 year old children. This is a must do at Epcot but highly recommend getting your DDP reservations 180 in advance.

Pros: intimacy, service, entrees
Cons: long wait for seating, the "poutine"

Review for dinner, December 30th, 2009. Our first time dining here. We were a group of 11.

Arriving for our reservation, we were told that seatings were running late. We toughed it out without being much bothered, but it was a hefty wait and would probably have ticked some others off.

Inside, Le Cellier's a cramped but comfortable little nook of a place. It's easy to see why people might not be in a hurry to get up and leave. They couldn't sit our entire party together, but we were fine with splitting up. Our server was cheerful and chatty. When he made a very small error early in the evening, at the end of the night he offered to erase the otherwise extra cost of an appetizer off our dining plan bill.

Le Cellier was probably our party's favourite meal of the week, but we're big steak eaters. Everybody reported perfect doneness, perfect cuts and perfect flavours, as well as surprisingly super appetizers. My Kansas city cut in a coffee rub--not something I've tried before--was super-tasty. The wife and I shared the decadent (and rather sizeable) Duck Three Ways appetizer.

There was one slight hiccup--the poutine. (If you're not Canadian, you might have to look it up.) What they served was in no, way shape or form a poutine. Still, by the end of the evening, this was the only uneaten remainder to be found anywhere.

Pricing was only a smidge out of line for the top quality fare.

Pros: soup & creme brulee
Cons: prime rib

DH & I went for anniversary dinner on 1/18/10. The Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup was delicious. We both got the salt crusted prime rib (DH with roasted potatoes, me with cream cheese mashed - both very good). Prime rib was ok - I wasn't impressed with my piece at all. The maple creme brulee for a dessert was fantastic. Service was very friendly & helpful. The pretzel bread was good, bot overrated. I liked the sourdough better.

Pros: Great steaks and service
Cons: Dark and noisy

We’re DVC members with annual passes and come to WDW 3 - 4 times a year. The wife and I ate at Le Cellier on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Our reservation was for 7:40 p.m – but we were able to change it to 5:45. We arrived about five minutes early and were seated with in ten minutes. Our waitress very attentive and very friendly.

This is the second time we’ve eaten at Le Cellier. We started off by splitting a Steakhouse Caesar salad, and we both got the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon. This dish comes with a wild mushroom risotto. Our steaks were superb, cooked perfectly and incredibly tender. However, the risotto was way too salty for my taste (and I like salty foods). Service was great, but the restaurant is a little dark and noisy.

Pros: Excellent steak, great pretzel bread, nice atmosphere.
Cons: Expected more

We had lunch here on our January 18. For starters, the service was very good. We arrived about an hour before our reservation--we had gotten them mixed up. The service staff still managed to find a seat for us immediately rather than turning us away. The restaurant itself is very nice, and feels like a wine cellar.
My wife had the Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon, which she (and I) rate as one of the best steaks she has ever had. I had the Sauteed Potato Gnochi, which was to be honest just ok. Luckily with this I was also able to have a cup of the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup which was terrific--especially when paired with the pretzel bread. Deserts (Chocolate Mousse and I had the Apple Tart) were also terrific.

After such a good time, why only an 8? After reading the reviews and talking to people, we probably expected too much. I would recommend it, just not as highly as others.

Pros: tender steak
Cons: difficult to obtain reservations so plan ahead

Enjoyed filet mignon with mushroom risotto at lunch - it was one of my favorite meals of our trip. As an occasional beef eater (not a "beef lover") I loved the perfectly-cooked filet. It was the right size for me, but if you want a large piece of meat, you may want to try a steak. Highly recommended.

Pros: food and service
Cons: none

My DH and I ate here for lunch on Jan 15. We had an amazing waiter (Brendan) and the food was just as good. The New York Strip was fabulous and cooked just as we ordered. We loved the pretzel bread and the cheese soup was so-so. For dessert we had creme brulee and moose cake. Both were delicious. Can't wait to go back on our next visit.

Pros: fabulous food
Cons: none

We rearranged our schedule to get a reservation here and I'm so glad we did. The atmosphere and the food were fabulous. Our server was wonderful explaining the menu and things on it and talking about her home country. We had the filet and the New York strip. Both were cooked perfectly and was the best steak I had ever eaten. Worth the money and we will go back.

Pros: cozy atmosphere
Cons: tight tables

This was my 4th time and first time for 3 other adults. After reading the previous posts I had to comment. We all had a enjoyable time and a delicious meal. Service was quick and efficient. We had lunch there on 1/13, the last day of our trip. We had 11:55 ADR's, arrived 15 minutes early and sat down within 3 minutes. Many empty tables at that time, which I thought was odd for a restaurant that is so difficult to get into. But by the time we left, all the tables were full.

We were on the Deluxe Dining plan, and by the last day it was a lot of food. We had tomato stack, cheese soup and a salad for starters, all were delicious, then all 4 of us had the filet - cooked perfectly and we had a selection of desserts to try each others. Again we were all satisfied.

If you can get an ADR, I say it is worth a try. I have had many good meals here.

Pros:
Cons: Food, Service, and the disappointment

I'm so upset, I could cry, and there's nothing sadder than seeing a fat man weep. This is a place that I rave about, as in the past, the food and the service have always been the best at WDW. This last time, just last week, was bad to the point of never wanting to go back. We had a 6-top of my wife and I, my 19yo stepdaughter and her friend, 4yo son and 23 month old daughter. The baby was a little agitated from the cold, and I actually saw our waiter roll his eyes. Then, entrees came out before apps. I understand mistakes can happen, but after their error, letting filet sit under a heatlamp for 15 minutes is a disgrace. I'll give it one more shot next trip, but it was a bigger detraction from my trip than the cold weather!

Pros: coffee encrusted strip steak
Cons: the trio deal

We had a good dinner here, not great. The sides tasted as if they came of a steam table and sat for awhile. The cheddar cheese soup is always great, as are the breadsticks. My steak (the coffee encrusted strip steak) was delicious and cooked perfectly. My husband, however, ordered the trio meal and got the prime rib. It was pretty lousy (small, tough). For dessert, he got the chocolate mousse, which was good, but also tasted as if they have trays and trays of them in the back (which I'm sure they do) and they just pulled this almost frozen dessert out to serve it.

Again, it was good, but not over the top as it once was.

Pros:
Cons:

Normally, this is one of our favorite restaurants and we kept telling the other people we were traveling with how wonderful it was, but sadly we were disappointed. The food was good but not as good as in the past. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice but the food was mediocre.

Pros: just okay
Cons:

This was always my favorite place to eat. I think I need a break from here next time. It just was not as great as I remembered it to be. I think for the money, next time we will try character dining instead. Soup was okay, filet was good, just not great this time.
