Pros: Food and waitress
Cons: lack of caring about celebration

So, this was our annual visit to LeCellier for our anniversary. Al usual, the highlights were the pretzel bread, the filet mignon and my wife's martini sampler. The waitress also had some friendly fun facts about the area of Canada that she was from and where we were sitting.
On the negative, the wine sampler I ordered seemed to have less wine in the glasses than I remembered. I also told the reservationist that we were celebrating our 19trh anniversary. It sounded like she added it to the notes section. Then, when I checked in at the counter, I told the girl there and she just congratulated me. Meanwhile, right on the check-in desk was a stamp that said "celebrating" that they must use to stamp the paper they give the waitress. A few years ago, they gave us complimentary champagne and dessert becayse it was our anniversary. It's the small things that count, that is what makes Disney....DISNEY! ;-)

Next time, I may be tempted to give another restaurant a chance. But the food here is great. :-)

Pros:
Cons: poor service, decline in quaulity, price

To write this review hurts, because for years upon years Le Cellier was our number one restaurant. For every trip (usually we visit twice a year) we would have 3 reservations. The vacation always began with Le Cellier. The first reservation on this recent trip was so bad, I cancelled the last two. I ordered the Fillet medium well and the waitress took it back 3 times till I finally said it was fine (it wasn't, it was still medium rare, she rarely came to our table so I gave up). It was obvious they embellished the Fillet to make it appear more gourmet, but whatever they did changed the taste. Finally after an hour and half of what became ridiculous, I received my bill. 64 dollars for me alone. Thats no appetizer or dessert. Thats a Fillet, Niagra Refresher, and use of my tables in wonderland card. They charged me full price for everything. The service here has declined and I'm so disappointed in the quality of food and price.
So so sad.

Pros: pretzel bread, ambience
Cons: no more cream cheese potatoes

Le Cellier is one of my favorite restaurants on property. I was thrilled to get a reservation for just my hubby and me for lunch while he was in Florida for a business conference. I was able to get the reservation only a month or so in advance, so I thought that was a score!

We checked in, and had a little bit of a wait until our table was ready. I thought that it was nice because the people around us were all at different places in their meals, so it felt that they weren't sitting right next to us for the whole time. We ended up getting a table that was part booth on the back, and then a chair on the other side. I always like getting a partial booth. It just feels more intimate.

Our server was great. She was a wealth of knowledge, and she was just fun to chat with. The couple next to us was nice too. They were just trying to decide on dessert when we were seated, and I recommended the Maple Crème Brule.

The pretzel bread was delicious as always, but the only thing that disappointed me a little was the fact that they no longer serve those delicious cream cheese mashed potatoes. They were to die for. I wanted the filet without the mushrooms which was no problem. I didn't want the risotto, so our server recommended this layered potato thing, but I didn't care for it at all. I probably didn't need those potatoes anyway, I needed to save room for that Crème Brule.

Overall, it was a great meal!

Pros: wonderful food
Cons: 2 disney credits

We arrived a few minutes before our reserved time, and were seated within minutes. The food was excellent! We chose to pay rather than use 2 Disney food credits. The filet was melt in your mouth! Love the accompanying risotto. DD got the sirloin, and loved it, but said it was too much food for her. DH had the swordfish and said it was very good, though he liked the swordfish at the Flying Fish better. The chocolate moose was cute and very good, as was the creme brule. We will be back!

Pros: Steaks are great
Cons: Can get noisy

I ate here with my wife and 13yo daughter on 4/2/13. We were fortunate enough to get a 4:10pm reservation just two months before our WDW visit. We checked in with the hostess at 4:00pm and still had to wait about ten minutes. We were seated in a quiet corner booth near the back of the restaurants. Unfortunately, the family next to us were utterly lacking in table manners. Luckily, they finished before our entrees arrived.

We all ordered different steaks. My NY Strip was incredible!! One of the best I’ve ever had. Both my wife and daughter loved their meals as well. The hot pretzel rolls were a big hit. One day I hope to try their desserts, but I’ve usually to full to even attempt it. Will gladly return if I can get another reservation in the future.

Pros: Amazing steak
Cons: Cheddar cheese soup overrated

The waitress was very nice and even offered to let us go outside to see the last ten minutes of Illuminations before we had our dessert. Below is what we ordered:

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup - I ordered this because of all the hype of how good it is. A few mouthfuls were really good - my husband likened it to potato skins as a soup. However, the saltiness of the soup was overwhelming, and I have a very HIGH tolerance for salt. I like everything extra salty, but this was too much. I didn't finish it. The bread, however, we ate plenty of! It was great.

Filet Mignon - I NEVER ordered steak, but I figured what the heck - we're at a steakhouse. I wasn't disappointed - this was quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. Deliciously moist and tender. I ordered it medium-well. The wild mushroom risotto that came with it was a fantastic pairing. All in all, an excellent dish and I wouldn't have minded if I had to pay for it (I used dining credits)

Rib Eye - My husband got the rib eye steak, and although he enjoyed it, I thought my filet mignon tasted better.

Pistachio cake - I thought this was fantastic. The pistachio taste was perfect, not too overwhelming.

Chocolate trio - My husband got this, and although I'm a chocolate freak, I enjoyed the pistachio cake better.

Pros: None
Cons: Way over priced!

$43.00 for an 8 oz filet!! Give me a break. You can buy those in Canada at the local store for $9.00
In the USA at any local store for $8:00

Pros: Filet, Pretzel Bread, Cheese Soup, Risotto
Cons: Price, Portion Size, Service

I went for lunch recently. Now lunch and dinner are the same price which makes for a very pricey lunch. I had cheese soup $9, Filet with risotto $43, and iced tea I think was $3. They give you free bread (3 different kinds, the pretzel bread is the standout). So basically lunch was $55 BEFORE tax and tip. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly so A+ to the chefs. However, service was a different story, it was super slow (slowest I have ever had at WDW) so not sure if they had a bad day or were short-handed or what because other times we have eaten here in past service was great. The other negatives would be portion size (bowl soup came in was very shallow) and the filet was very tiny. I have had filets at other restaurants and realize that the filet is typically much smaller than strip, rib-eye, or t-bone, however, this was very small even by filet standards, probably just barely over half the size of a typical filet. It was delicious I easily could have eaten two of them. Hard to rate because food is a 10, but service this time was not good and small portion size/steep price drag the score down overall to an 8. I would say it is a good place for an adults to dine out and splurge but leave the kids at home. I am kind of sad of the changes, as you used to be able to dine there for lunch at a reasonable price, now lunch prices and menu is the same as dinner and it is now 2 points on the dining plan. It was a nice reasonably priced place in the past that everyone loved going to. Now it is priced more like the more upscale resort dining places like Yachtsman Steakhouse or Artists Point.

Pros: Cheese Soup & Lobster Mac & Cheese
Cons: Very Expensive - Not best for kids - Ceaser Salad

The food here was excellent! We all had steak and each of us were very pleased with the temperature and taste. The cheese soup (don't forget to dip the pretzel bread in) and side dish lobster mac & cheese were my absolute favorites. The steaks were amazing but they should be for $40 each. On a down note, my daughter ordered a ceasar salad and it came with spinach and was nothing like the traditional ceaser she loves. She ended up ordering her own bowl of cheese soup as her meal. My 2 year old wasn't in the best mood during our visit, otherwise it may have been more enjoyable and we would have stayed for dessert. The tables are so close that any behavior or moodiness from children will disturb others around you and wait staff. I had to leave with my toddler twice during the meal, but once the food arrived it made for a much better experience. I will go back, but probably for lunch (soup and lobster mac & cheese).

Pros:
Cons:

Ate here 2/24/13 for dinner, steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Steak is large but side dishes are smaller, more "upscale" feel. Worth 2 credits for a big steak dinner, don't miss the pretzel bread and cheese soup.

Pros: lovely dinning room
Cons: food

Ate here late January. I ordered the sirloin steak medium. I came medium well. That did not bother me but the steak was tough. The knife they give you barely cut the meat. The best part was the bread. I wish they would open a kiosk to sell the bread. Yum.

Pros: Wonderful Filet!
Cons: Crowded and staff that is ok only

My party of 6 were on the dining plan and had lunch here on 12/13. I'm glad we went one final time before this takes 2 ts credits for lunch. I love the mushroom filet and risotto! Our waitress wasn't very friendly, not rude but she certainly didn't earn her 18% tip that we were required to give her. Over all a nice meal but not worth 2 ts credits! Will come back with just my hubby and pay cash or try some new places.

Pros: Waitress
Cons: Food

I've been to WDW many times and always wanted to try this steak place. Should have saved our money. Service was good, food is not. I had a ceaser salad($10.00)had about 10-12 leaves on the plate. Poutine fries that the waitress recommended smelled and tasted bad. My husband's steak wasn't any better than what he can cook at home. Best thing we had was the bread, tasted like a soft pretzel.

Pros: Awesome service and food
Cons: Tight quarters mean screaming kids are very loud

We ordered a special occasion cake, and the staff was awesome at boxing it up for us, and sticking it in the fridge for us to get later. Also, the staff deserves a medal for trying their best to calm three screaming kids (a baby and two elementary schoolers that should have known better) whose parents were oblivious to the fact that they were ruining everyone else's meal.
The steak was amazing, so was the tomato and mozzarella salad. Suggest making late dinner reservations for maybe less screaming kids?

Pros: Fabulous food & service
Cons: Always booked

Love this place!!! Quieter than most WDW restaurants, excellent food and very attentive service. My husband claims this to be the best steak he's ever had. Not being a steak fan myself, I opted for the chicken which was very tasty. Don't miss the pretzel bread!!! So stuffed we could barely even taste dessert, fruit cobbler. This made for a perfect candlelight dinner at Christmas!
