Pros: Remy!
Cons:

We ate here for lunch. The food was good, but I'd say only half the menu is "French" - a burger with "pommes frites" does not a French dish make. The food is good though, but the best part is dining at lunch and getting a visit from Chef Remy!!

Pros: Flavors
Cons: Price, Portion size

DH and I had a dinner reservation on April 26th. There were a lot of people waiting, and many people walking up trying to get in without reservations that had to be turned away. We were seated near the windows. Our server was very slow - we didn't even get our baguette until after our entrees had arrived. DH has shrimp/scallops, and I had the duck. The duck was good, and pretty reasonably priced compared to the "real world". However, the portion size on the seafood was incredibly small for what we paid, and as a result was pretty disappointing. The desserts were also very overpriced. For my money, I'd rather get desserts from the Patisserie - I could get two of them for the price of the dessert here. I'd also suggest that if you want French-inspired food, to get reservations at Be Our Guest instead. The servers are friendly, the atmosphere is better, and prices are more reasonable.

Pros: Lovely restaurant, Chef Remy visits
Cons: Tables very close together, loud

We dined here for dinner recently. My daughter and I both chose to order the "Prix Fixe 3 Courses Menu" for our dinners. We both started with the french onion soup and it is so good especially with the hot french baguettes they serve you. I chose to have the chicken and my daughter the macaroni and cheese. My chicken was good but I prefer the short ribs. My daughter's mac and cheese was wonderful. I had the creme brulee for dessert and she had the strawberry cake/sorbet. Remy visited us quickly while we dined. We will definitely be back next trip! It is a very good value and great food.

Pros: Service and food
Cons: None

Our family visited here for lunch on 11th April for lunch. It was a very hot day so we wanted to get out of the heat as soon as possible and arrived 15 mins early of our reservation time. The restaurant was not busy so we were seated straight away. Our server was very polite and attentive and went through all the options on the menu with us.

We all opted for the prix fix menu. I and my DH and DS (15) opted for the onion soup, my other DS (19) opted for the lobster bisque. The onion soup was very good, there was so much cheese in there. My DS(19) thoroughly enjoyed the lobster bisque. Next came our entrees, myself and my DS(15) had the croque Monsieur with salad. It was delicious, the bread was thickly cut and golden toasted, the ham was thick cut and the cheese was all gooey and soft. My DH opted for the quiche Lorraine which looked as though it had just been baked and he thoroughly enjoyed his lunch. My other DS chose the mac and cheese which he said was very tasty, but there was too much of it and couldn,t finish.

For our dessert, 3 of us opted for the strawberry cake with whipped cream and strawberry sorbet - wow this was so good. My husband is diabetic and he asked if there were any sugar free desserts that he could have. Our server replied that there wasn't, but he would go and speak to the chef. He arrived back with a beautifully presented bowl of fresh berries - there were strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. All were juicy and sweet.

My DH was extremely impressed with the service in Chefs de France and we would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Pros: Friendly, french onion soup
Cons:

Dining plan includes a three course prix fixe menu! We waited an average time of about 15 minutes. Below is my opinion of the dishes we ordered:

Soupe A l oignon Gratinee - French onion soup - Probably the best french onion soup I've ever had! Amazing! Cheese was thick and delicious, great onion taste.

Bisque de homard - Lobster bisque - Good but french onion soup was better.

Plat de cote de boeuf au cabernet avee pates - Beef short ribs - This dish was only okay. The beef was prepared well, but the noodles didn't pick up any of the flavor in the dish and were tasteless. The pearl onions and mushrooms added some flavor.

Demi Poulet Fermier roti, pommes rissolees et Broccoli - Roast chicken - Very good, cooked perfectly. Sauce was excellent, great flavor.

Dessert - Both were good, not amazing. Creme brulee and Fraisier, sorbet et coulis aux fruits rouges (strawberry cake with sauce and sorbet)

Our waiter was very nice and friendly. We had a bit of difficulty understanding him at times, but if you want authenticity then you can expect an accent!

Pros:
Cons: cold coffee, poor service, food not that great for price

Last year we went here and it was our favorite. This year we were seated in front of a pole smashed in between several tables. The waitress didn't come near us for a 15 minutes from the time we were seated. We had to ask for bread. I ordered a fish dish that was 2 scallops and 3 shrimps with mushy potatoes. My coffee was cold and it took ten minutes to get cream. Not sure what happened but not going back!

Pros: food, service,
Cons: No Remy

Went for 1st time on 3/9 visit. Had to wait about 15mins for reservation, be careful not to go to far from hostess or u might not hear ur name called. Once seated, service was great, no flaws at all. The maitre'd, Jean Luc, was awesome. Greeted everyone and made trips thru dining area. We went with the Prix Fixe which was plenty. Our soups were very, very good. My salmon was cooked perfect, and the DW's short ribs melted in your mouth. The desserts were just as good. Will def go back, well worth it. Only downside, no Remy!! But I hear he's always in the kitchen.

Pros: food, waitstaff
Cons: crowded, loud

I dined here in December of 2012.
We had ADR for 4:30, and ended up seated pretty much right away. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and our waiter went out of his way to make sure we got all of our questions about the menu answered.
I had the salmon, and it was actually one of the best salmon dishes I'd ever had - cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The husband had the chicken, which was fine but overshadowed by the sides - the potatoes were delicious.
We also had the cheese plate as an appetizer, and the waiter was sure to stick around and explain every one even though it was clear he was busy. (I know this is what they're supposed to do, but often falls by the wayside when it gets busy at places!)
Most adorable of all was the fact Remy made a special appearence during the course of the meal.
It was very crowded when we were here, and so the noise level was very odd. We were also seated by a window which was weirdly uncomfortable - the windows are set below the sidewalk a bit, so it just felt like people were staring in at us the whole time.
I would definitely return.

Pros: place, ambient, service
Cons: none

Second time we ate here. We went in early February and had reservations for 8.45 pm. we were seated immediately, much better than in our first visit, two years ago. Our server was a delightful young lady, who was very nice. We had the three course menu included in the dining plan, the lobster bisque and the onion soup were fabulous. I had the salmon and for me, it was overcooked. It wasn't a good choice because on my first time was the same. All the other entrees were very good, (beef and pasta) and my husband continues in love with this place. Very good bread too.

Pros: excellent food, superb waiter
Cons:

The three of us were here on a very busy, cold, rainy night, so busy they turning away walk-ups. We did check in about 15 minutes early, but in spite of the fact that people were lingering over their dinners to avoid the cold we were still seated right at our reservation time.
The atmosphere was very cozy, warm and inviting. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was very quick to bring additional pots of hot water for our tea and an additional loaf of hot crusty bread as soon as we had nearly finished our first servings of them. For entrees we had the duck with cherries and the Coquille St. Jacques, both excellent, very satisfying and the portion size was perfect. The dessert was an exceptional strawberry cream cake, very fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. We will be coming back here on our next trip.

Pros: Gorgeous, Remy
Cons:

Wow, Les Chefs De France is gorgeous. We sat in the glassed area facing Spaceship Earth. Remy was adorable. The food was tasty.

Pros: Remy, food, Remy, atmosphere, Remy, service. Oh, also Remy!
Cons: Not enough Remy

We've always enjoyed the food here and always had excellent service, so the addition of Remy was just icing on the eclair. And I have to say....he was so darn cute! I briefly contemplated snagging him from platter and attempting to run away with him, but realized I couldn't deprive others of their chance to see him. I wish they had a plush version as cute as the little guy on the platter!

And again, I should note, the food here is unbelievable. I've never had a bad meal. Even the picky eaters in our group enjoyed it!

Pros: Good food & service
Cons: a little loud

Enjoyed our first trip here in December 2012. Wait time, with reservations, was less than 15 minutes (though it was a little chilly waiting outside). Very attentive service. Really enjoyed my beef dinner. My teenage son had shrimp and loved it, but said it wasn't enough (when are teenage boys ever full?) Enjoyed creme brulee. A little loud, not overwhelming, and a little packed in. Would definitely do again...

Pros: Food, remy, atmosphere, server
Cons: nothing

Ate here for the first time on 2/6/13. I was a little apprehensive after reading so not so good reviews about the wait staff but decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did! Server was very nice and attentive. He constantly refilled our drinks and answered all our questions. Beautiful restaurant! Had a seat by the front windows which was so nice. Food was very good. I ordered the French onion soup and Macaroni and cheese, husband had the same soup and short ribs, my MIL had a salad and the salmon and both boys had the breaded chicken (chicken fingers) and pasta. Everyone really enjoyed theirs meals! Sorbet dessert was excellent! The waiter that pushed Remy around was great with the kids and Remy was adorable! Will definitely eat here again!

Pros: Dessert
Cons: Seating, entree

Very disappointed with our meal here. It was not as good as it has been in the past. I had the scallops and shrimp. It consisted of 3 shrimp and 2 scallops in a lemon and corriander sauce, supposedly with mushrooms, potatoes, bacon, carrots. There were about 5 cubes of potatoes in mine but the carrots and mushrooms were missing. I could see the carrots in the same dish at the table next to us. Our party of 5 was seated at a table for 4 with one extra place setting stuck on the end in a walkway between the main restaurant and the dining area next to the walkway to the theatre. The tables were very small, so they should have put us at a table for 6. We were served one baguette for all 5 of us. I observed at a nearby table that a party of 4 was served 2 baguettes. We requested more and were given one. The quality of the food at our table was fair at best. One of our party was not on the dining plan and ordered from the pric fixe menu. His soup was served in a fancy bowl. He could not find the cheese in his French Onion Soup. I noticed at a nearby table that someone was served the onion soup in a bigger bowl and she had lots of cheese oozing from her spoon as she was eating. Perhaps those using a dining plan or opting for the pric fixe menu are second class citizens here.
