Pros: Excellent food, not too loud, princesses
Cons: none

We ate here with party of 8 in September 2009. Everyone thought the food was excellent, especially the yogurt and berries. Princesses spent ample time at each table. Will come again.

Pros: Food, Princesses, Service
Cons: None

Our party of 10 (6 adults, 4 year old, 2 year old, 10 months, and 6 months) ate here on Monday, October 19th. Our reservations were for 8:15. Check in was smooth. We did not enter until 8:25 but everyone was courteous.

During our week of early character breakfasts I learned that the gate to let cars through does not open until 7:30 and parks do not let people enter until around 7:45. So if you have an 8:00 meal and they tell you to arrive early take this into consideration.

We took our pictures with Belle. This portion always seems to be rushed. There is very little time for chat with Belle. The goal is to keep the line moving. If you are waiting in the line you appreciate this. However, when it is your turn with the princess you wish she would interact with the children more. Since we can’t have it both ways I guess we will take our picture and be happy.

Our server, Katherine, attended to our every need. She kept the drinks full and food supplied to our table. She was very attentive but not hovering. The service was perfect and we left a tip that reflected our satisfaction.

The Princesses (Snow White, Mulan, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty) were great also. They took time to speak with the children and posed for pictures. The interaction was very nice and our little ones had a wonderful time. The 10 month old, Prince Charming in training, even rated a princess kiss from Mulan.

This was a character meal the way it was intended to be. We all left with smiles and a full belly.

Pros: lots of princesses
Cons: none

Our first time here and on the dining plan. We had excellent service surprising cuz our waitress was in training but she was friendly, helpful, and doing a great job...We first got daughters picture with belle...they took 3 pictures and the picture they gave us was nice, not as nice as in the castle but with dining and photo for free we were very pleased..we saw ariel(daughters fav.)and auora, mary poppins, and cinderella...food was really great..they bring you as much as you would like...it was odd to see so much fish on the buffet line but it is Norway...would love to go again...good coffee too.

Pros: princesses
Cons:

We visited Akershus last year for dinner, so this year we thought we would try a breakfast. On 9/25 we (party of 5 - 3 adults, my 7-year old DD, and my DS, 1) arrived at Akershus right at our ADR time of 8:30. We received a friendly greeting by the hostesses, and then almost immediately called inside to take a picture with Belle. Belle was absolutely beautiful in her yellow dress, and I was happy to know the pictures were included in the cost of the meal.

As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by our server who took our drink orders and returned with the drinks promptly. She invited us to vist the koldtbord for fresh fruit and pastries, and told us the hot platter would be out promptly. The princesses were nearing our table, so we decided to wait to get our food until we had seen the first two. We saw Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Cinderella, both of which were lovely, and then visited the koldtbord.

At the cold buffet, we chose fresh fruit (my daughter and I had strawberries, blueberries, honeydew, and cantaloupe but noticed raspberries there as well) and pastries such as cinnamon rolls and lingonberry muffins. Everything we tried was very good, my DS seemed to really like the apple danish. For me, the standouts were the cherry danish and the lingonberry muffins.

Next, we were visited by Snow White and then Ariel. I would like to specifically mention that Cinderella and Ariel were really great with my children. Cinderella not only interacted with my daughter (at 7, she is still very much into princesses), but also held my son's hand and offered to take a separate picture with him. So many times on this trip, my baby was pretty much ignored at character meals (not so at this meal, so I wanted to mention that). Ariel spent a lot of time with my daughter (my little girl received an Ariel ballgown dress, like the one Ariel wears to the meal, as a surprise and wanted to wear it breakfast). Ariel told her they were twins and they twirled in their skirts together and talked about Prince Eric. It was so cute, and I really appreciated the time she spent with us.

Our hot platter arrived quickly after we sat down from the pastry and fruit buffet. It had potato casserole (YUMMY), bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs. We ate quickly (didn't take long to clear the platter with 3 adults plus a little girl who LOVES bacon), and we were offered a second platter. We quickly devoured the potato casserole from the second platter, and our server offered to bring more of just the casserole if we wanted. She returned with a platter of potatoes, a birthday card signed by all of the princesses, and a cupcake for my best friend (who accompanied us on this trip). I had to laugh at my kids because they wanted to eat the gummi bears that decorated her birthday cupcake plate!

I would recommend this meal to anyone, especially if you have a daughter (and or friends, in my case) who loves princesses. The service was good, and it was fun to see the princesses. I noticed that there were just as many girls with princess costumes on as without them on, unlike last year where nearly all of the girls there had BBB makeovers and princess gowns on. We enjoyed this breakfast more so than the dinner we had here last year. We would definitely return, and recommend others give it a try!

Pros: Service from CM's, cold food, photo with Belle
Cons: Check-in @ EPCOT main entrance, Bacon was ice cold & rubbery, other princesses a little slow coming out.

Tried this for the first time on 10/1/09. Check-in at EPCOT's main entrance was a joke. One person checking in a long line of people for tours and breakfasts. Had to run to Norway to get there in time. Was seated less than 5 minutes of checking in at the Norway desk. Liked the picture with Belle at the beginning. Very well organized. My server was excellent. The pastries were good, the eggs were ok, but the bacon was rubbery and cold. The other princesses were Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White & Ariel. Was hoping for Mulan or Mary Poppins, but the characters were very nice, although a little slow coming out. This was a nice breakfast, but probably would not do it again.

Pros: Princesses, food and being in world showcase early
Cons: crowded dining room and photographer

This is the first time we've been here for breakfast. We really enjoyed the food so I think we're sticking to breakfast instead of dinner. We were seated quickly a first at this location. Our service was great! They have the best selection of berries I've ever seen! And the apple turnover was flaky and tasty. The chef came out to talk to DD about food intolerance and he made her potatoes without dairy!! We were served a large platter to share. DD was given her own plate with her special potatoes and scrambled eggs and bacon. Coffee was strong! Not the usual in wdw, lol. Our waiter checked and brought us more food and was very attentive. It's the best service we've ever had here. The only complaint was the photos. I take better pics. Glad we had the boys pose w/ Belle and then DD pose w/ her as well since we get 2 pkgs. The princesses were sweet. Aurora and Snow White talked to us and Ariel and Cinderella seemed a bit rushed.

Pros: character interaction, photo package
Cons: check-in process and hot food

We just visited Askerhus 10/3/2009. It was myself, DH and 3 1/2 year old twins, boy and girl. We checked in 15 minutes before our 11AM reservation and were told to stay in the immediate area, "Do not go into any shops or leave the area at all." Well, of course, 10 minutes later both kids had to go potty. The potty in the hall had a very long line and the potty outside in Norway was outside of the immediate area. I asked at check-in when they thought we would be called and they were crisp and borderline rude - I don't know, I couldn't say, etc. Finally, a manager saw the interaction, looked up our name and said it would be fine to go to the bathroom. Even after returning from the bathroom we still waited another 5+ minutes. We were finally seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time (even though other parties with reservation times after ours were being seated right and left). While this isn't a huge deal, it is really tough in the hot sun with two 3 year olds to wait patiently for a half hour without any activities, the option of going into a shop, etc. This experience would be greatly improved with a beeper system or a better designed waiting experience.

However, we were thrilled with the photo we got with Belle (my personal favorite Princess) and were visited by Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella and Ariel. Aurora was the first to visit the table and the kids weren't quite sure how to react so I had a photo with her and then they warmed up. Cinderella called my son Prince Charming and he slid under the table embarrassed! It was too cute for words.

We thought the cold food buffet was wonderful. The bagels, dill cream cheese and lox hit the spot and the fresh fruit was delicious - strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries. The jams and biscuits were a hit with the kids. We didn't try any of the sweet rolls, but they looked wonderful. The hot food was only OK. Scrambled eggs, sausage and greasy bacon were delivered along with the cheesy potatoes, which were the highlight of the hot foods. Our supply of eggs was very small for 4 but they readily brought more no problem. With the Tables in Wonderland card, this experience was a great value and we were satisfied until our 6:25 dinner in Magic Kingdom.

My daughter says meeting Cinderella was the highlight of her trip so I am thrilled we did this. We have reservations at CRT (also late breakfast ADR) and 1900 Park Fare Dinner for our next visit and I can't wait to compare to this.

Pros: Character interaction and food
Cons: none

Visited 9.14.09: Easy access to Princesses. We saw Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora and Cinderella. Service was great, food was great. If someone in your group has to see Belle, this is the place to go. It's also neat to see World Showcase before it opens. Worth the cost, definitely.

Pros: OK food, princesses, service
Cons: Close quarters, wait outside

We had breakfast and were seated about 40 min. after our reservation time. We waited outside with other families, in the heat which made parents & children cranky. The pictures with Belle in her yellow dress came out great and the other princesses (Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora) were nice and friendly. In our experience, this was a bit more rushed than Cinderella’s Royal Table, but it’s OK, our daughter (4.5) and son (2) had a great time anyway.

The food was good and plenty of it, but the restaurant is tight. It’s hard to move around and you bang chairs with the tables around you. Usually it’s OK, but in a character breakfast you get up and moving every now and then to take pictures.

I'm giving all character meals a "10" because it's not about the food.

Disney does need to stop overbooking their reservations. When Disney requires you to make reservations 3 months ahead of time, which means that you are arranging your whole itinerary around food, there is no reason to be seated late. It is a total disrespect for your time and effort and is NOT the "Disney way" of treating guests.

Pros: Characters, photo package
Cons:

My 4 year old had a blast at this breakfast. She loved seeing the Princesses walk around the room & even after they left our table, she still enjoyed seeing them with other little girls. The food was good and they made sure you had plenty to eat. Loved the fresh berries on the buffet and the potato casserole. The photo package that was included was very nice and we liked having a souvenir to take home. Our server was very friendly and she was kind enough to take a picture with our daughter as well. If you can't get into CRT, I would recommend this for a princess meal.

Pros:
Cons:

Had breakfast here on 8/21/09. The food was average. Too bad there were no pancakes or Mickey waffles, but the potato casserole and eggs were OK. DGDs ages 7.5 & 9.5 were thrilled with the Princesses. This was their first ever character meal. Belle was the feature, and the picture package was nice. The others that day were Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella and Ariel (DGD's favorite). All were pleasant, but moved through the room rather quickly.

Pros: princesses, photo
Cons: buffet a little lacking

We had a 30 minute wait, before being called in to first take pictures with Belle. She was very sweet and beautiful and the pictures came out great. Afterwards, we sat down and almost immediately a large platter was delivered to our table with bacon, sausage, potato casserole and eggs. Most of our party didn't eat pork and the waitress was quick and happy to bring another with the yummy potato casserole and eggs. The buffet could have used waffles, pancakes, or at least bagels. Ariel, Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, and Aurora all quickly came by the table. They were friendly and my daughter was amazed. Overall it was great, but there was room for improvement on the food.

Pros: Setting, princesses
Cons: food was plain

The food for breakfast was pretty standard and not exciting. It's fun to see the princesses, but they were moving through pretty quickly. We had photos with Belle when we checked in, then Aurora, Ariel, Snow White, and Cinderella were circling the dining room. We probably had less than 60 seconds with each. I suppose my girls could have talked them up some more, but they were in awe.

The food was pretty plain - would have been nice for the kids to get a pancake or waffle.

Go if you want to see the princesses. Otherwise, get your breakfast elsewhere.
