I had never eaten here in 40+ visits to WDW. It was just OK. We got breakfast sandwiches during EMH one day - only one variety and I don't really like ham but oh well. Chocolate croissant for DD was very good. No seats available so a nice CM told me to trek across Main Street to Casey's. That was a great idea and a nice place to sit and people/duck watch. A mama duck and her tiny little ducklings were dancing around under the tables. We got to see the opening of Casey's where the CMs sing "Take me Out to the Ball Game" so that was cool. I guess we will try it again once they Starbuck-ify it.

A great place to stop for an afternoon pick me up. We shared a cinnamon roll between three people. My son practically devoured the whole thing while we were doctoring up our coffee! Oh well, next time we will order two!

Stopped in on 12/8 for breakfast. I wanted a cinnamon roll which I shared with DGD and even my DH took a couple of bites. DH complained about too much icing. The cast member had put extra icing on it, my DH is not an icing person. I thought it was great so told him to eat his egg sandwich and leave my cinnamon roll alone. DH also ordered a chocolate croissant which he said was very good. We got there shortly after 9 so it was crowded but we found a table right away. DGD ate almost half the cinnamon roll and loved it. I can see why there is such a line everyday to order them.

Just visited in Nov 2012 and finally got to try one of the legendary cinnamon rolls...it was amazing! I used a snack credit to purchase it and two of us shared it for breakfast, what a great value!

I ran in on 11-6 (Tues) to grab a quick snack cause we got seats on the curb in front of the store at 2:45 for the 3pm parade (park was very empty that day!). I chose the oversize brownie with walnuts (which was awesome!) for us to share.

Grabbed a cinnamon roll and two fruit cups for breakfast at the hotel the next day. Many people must do this, because they had just taken fresh rolls out of the oven half hour before park close! It was great and easy! And best part, I didn't have to walk to the food court in the morning.

Love grabbing breakfast here, especially during morning EMH. Baked goods are fresh and delicious and the cast members are very friendly. Try a chocolate croissant!

Our party of 2 ate a late breakfast here on our last day 9/21. We had some snack credits to use up on the dining plan.
I had the warm cinnamon roll, which was amazing and HUGE! I asked the lady for some extra icing and she scraped the pan for me.
My companion had the cinnamon crumble cake, which was also cut in huge pieces. It was basic white cake with a cinnamon crumble layer on top. He enjoyed it.
The line to even see the bakery items was long. Once the ladies could see you they started asking you what you wanted (even if you hadn't seen all your options). It seemed like the people at the end of the line making the drinks were the hold-up. I would recommend going into the main room first and scoping out what you want.

Finding a table
|
|
My family and I ate here on July 29, 2012 on our last day, after meaning to for the last 10 days we were on vacation. We went before a parade started, so it wasn't over crowded, but it was still hard to find a table.
We had 2 Egg Ham and Cheese Croissants, and 2 Warm Cinnamon Rolls (Both which were big enough to share). The Croissant sandwich was very cheesy, hot and fresh. Very good. The cinnamon rolls were amazing. It was about 3 inches tall, and about 4 inches wide, covered in cream cheese and maple icing. We could have eaten the whole pan of them.
If we had eaten here before our last day, we would have had breakfast here more than once for sure. We will without a doubt be eating at the Mainstreet Bakery on our next trip.

No better place to stop for a late night snack on the way out of the park. It's a tradition.

Just loved the Main Street Bakery! It was the first place we headed when we entered the Magic Kingdom. We were the 3rd party in line at the bakery counter & were almost immediately served. I had ordered the cinnamon roll and hubby ordered the apple turnover, then we shared. Both were delicious, but the turnover takes the prize -- very flaky crust, tons of apple filling, just wonderful! We had no trouble finding a table in the delightful dining room, although the tables filled up within minutes of our arrival. A very enjoyable breakfast to start our magical day! Recommend getting there as soon as possible after rope drop.

I saw a lot of very positive reviews about Main Street Bakery on AllEars before our trip, so we made an effort to stop by for an afternoon tea. When we lined up in front of the counter, the first thing we noticed was - a FLY - dancing happily among the baked goods and touching down on some of them. I politely told the lady behind the counter, "There's a fly in there!", and she casually replied, "Yeah, there's a fly in there." Well, because of all the positive reviews, I plucked up my courage and ordered. There were quite a few offerings and each of us got a different item - cinnamon bun, banana bread pudding, chocolate eclaire, crumb cake, apple turnover, and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake and chocolate eclaire were both very good, Banana bread pudding and crumb cake were good but nothing spectacular, but the cinnamon bun was a little too cinnamony for my taste. There are actually more tables than I expected, and we very easily found a table for our group of 6. With air condition, it is not a bad place to sit down and take a break, but hopefully they can do a little more work on pest control.
