Pros: fun atmosphere
Cons: nothing

Of the three restaurants, our family loved this one the most! The atmosphere is so much fun! We loved talking to Crush and watching the other sea animals on the screens. We ate here on Pirate Night so that added to the fun. We also enjoyed the food here the most! Loved it!

Pros: Animators Show
Cons: none

We were on The Fantasy 7n May 19th-25th 2012 sailing. We had 2 nights in rotation here but missed the first night as we were in Remy.

Night 2 here I didn't get the popcorn soup at all... its terrible. The trio appetizer with Ahi Tuna was amazing, Lobster tails were good but a little over cooked.

They had melted delicious butter which made it all GREAT!

The Chocolate Lava cake was a great dessert!

The Animators show was just outstanding fun! Big thumbs up on this one!

Pros: Best Family dinner
Cons: Nothing

We went on a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy. The food was usually good. The atmosphere makes this a 10 for me. Don't miss the Disney Animator show.

Pros: colorful room, Nemo theme
Cons: strange menu, Crush interaction interrupts your dinner

This is probably the least favorite of the restaurants for me. It was our first night, so I am glad I hadn't been to the others yet. The menu was strange. I had the shrimp pasta which was good and my 15 year old daughter loved the stir fried vegetables. My 12 year old son ended up with something off the kids menu because he couldn't find anything. The service is always great in every restaurant, but the food choices were not the best here. Didn't like the tables being so crowded together either. It was like you were eating with your neighboring table even though we didn't know them.

Pros: good food
Cons: Crush show

I was kind of nervous about going to this restaurant. We were on our honeymoon for this cruise and we had heard that the kids can get quite loud when the mirror fish appeared and asked the kids to guess what they were in the shapes of. This didn't really seem to be a problem, but we had the late seating so maybe that's why.

The food was decent. I had the Black Truffle Pasta Purseittes which were a bit too cheesy for me and I'm from WI so I like cheese. Smile I had the Baked Potato soup which could have used more cheese, bacon, and chives... it just kind of was... potato. I had the Chipotle Cakes which I did enjoy and for dessert I had the Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake.

The show was pretty cool at first but then I noticed that Crush just did the same thing over and over with different areas and we were too far away or any real interaction.

Pros: Cool Crush Show
Cons: none

The restaurant was fun in the way the walls would change. It felt really crowded though and we had to look at the table next to ours to even see the TV screen. I think I am just not fancy enough to completely enjoy the food-not just here but at all of the restaurants. By the time we hit this place it was our last rotational meal and my husband asked for a plain salad with ranch dressing. We enjoyed it though, and of course service was great.

Pros: Great room and animaiton
Cons: N/A

Animators was a great restaurant. The food could be a little better did not think there was much of a selection and the menu needs to be revised. But the food was okay and the room and atmosphere was great. When I was at Disney world at the Italian Restaurant in Epcot the food was great now they need to copy that restaurant and get some food ideas from them. There food is the best that I have tasted at Disney so far. We did get to visit Animators on two nice Pirates night was the best in animators palace could see it being better in the other restaurants.

Pros: Special guest
Cons: LOUD screaming kids ... too interactive

I would start off stating that the meal, as usual, was exceptional!!

Our kids were enthralled with the room changing (which only happened our first night in this dining room, the second time we ate here, it didn't change) ... as soon as the 'mirror fish' appear, it is suggested that the kids shout out the answer on what they are creating. This continued the ENTIRE meal.

And as stated before, Crush only visited certain tables ... so when we found out our table was in the middle, we were a bit bummed. We tried to get it changed but alas, no luck.

Throughout the meal, it was pretty difficult with all the shouting going on to get the kids to focus on eating. Our next cruise, unless we happen to get a table along with wall (where Crush appears), we will skip this night.

Pros: Fun and interactive
Cons: Had to crane my neck to see Crush

Really enjoyed this dining experience on the first night of our cruise! Menu was varied and our server made excellent recommendations, even offering to bring me a second entree (chicken) if I didn't like what I ordered (fish). I loved the fish, and ate the chicken, too! Smile Agree with previous poster that sitting close to an outside wall is best, but for the most part you can see all of the screens from your seat. Be warned, it gets LOUD in this dining room when it is full.

Pros: Interactive dining experience
Cons: Interaction depends on where you are seated

Disney Dining Meets Turtle Talk with Crush - that's how I describe this restaurant experience. But this is actually one restaurant where you're better off if you're seated along the walls rather than in the middle - if you're not close to the screens on the wall you really don't have the chance to interact with Crush. The decor of the restaurant is fun - the chairs have buttons on the back like Mickey's pants and the butter knives are shaped like palette knives. Though I don't think that those classic animation touches go very well with the underwater world we end up in. The servers don't transform as the night goes on, either - I missed that.
