Pros: fun character interaction, ambience
Cons: can sometimes be a wait for characters

We always eat here on our family vacations, and my husband and I decided to have a late dinner here when it was just the two of us as well.

It was busy as usual, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. The wait staff was excellent and brought drinks out very quickly.

I wasn't sure how it would be with characters for just me and hubby, but the friends were very helpful with making sure they visited us as well. We even got them to take some pictures of the two of us together with the characters. It was so much fun. We did miss one of the characters who didn't get around to us, but it was just a little wait and we did end up getting to see them all.

I really like the food here and there is so much of it! I left feeling very full, so I must have gotten my moneys worth.

LOVED this place! It was adorable! The cast members here were so pleasant. I ate here by myself and the cast members made sure Winnie the Pooh and friends came to my table! The buffet was great - i had a little bit of everything! I was stuffed but it was well worth it!

Pros: Characters and Food Selection
Cons: Waiter and seaters

Ate here on 3/30. This was our first dinner of our vacation and I was not expecting amazing food because I have really never been to a buffet that has blown me away. This was picked just for the kids to see the Characters. I was surprised the food was hot and very good, the beef at the slicing station was awesome and cooked just the way I like it. Only problem was we arrived about 15 minutes early for our reservation and YES I do understand everyone needs to be there to be seated however they passed over us because we had a 6 year old that had to go to the bathroom so her mom and her were inside the bathroom in the restaurant but they passed over us because not all 8 where ready to be sat. So I suggest everyone holds it or go before you get there. Wait was attentive however took for ever with the bill.

Pros: Characters, food
Cons: Timing

I was worried about making reservations here because in 2009, I arrived about 15 minutes prior to my reservation time but was told that my wait would be over 60 minutes so my husband and I just left. This time, our experience was much better. We were seated in under 15 minutes and we were visited by all of the characters during our 45 minutes at our table. I believe this is because we booked our reservation time for mid-afternoon instead of high noon this time.

Looks were definitely deceiving. I had high expectations and when I saw the food, I was underwhelmed. However - the food actually tasted really good. Some of my favorites were the carved beef, potato salad, chipotle pasta, cornbread, pasta salad speckled with feta, and the Mediterranean chicken with white rice.

Definitely worth it if you have kids - just make sure to book your reservation for mid-afternoon, 2:00-4:00, to avoid long waits.

Pros: Characters
Cons: Food selections

This was our first TS of a 5 day trip with 10 total in our party. We were seated a little earlier then our reservation time. The buffet is a typical buffet. Nothing fancy. I felt the steak was very tasty but other then that I can get the same food at a typical buffet. The characters were great and spent plenty of time at our table.

Pros: Nice inside
Cons: Not much of a selection at the Buffet

At the MK there is not many choices for table service under the DDP. My husband and I thought we would try it but was so disappointed with the selections at the Buffet. Not very many. The waiter was nice.

Pros: Characters
Cons: The wait and the food

We had ADR here for dinner 2/21 and waited almost an hour past our reservation time (we arrived 15 minutes early). That started the bad experience, once inside we were told the character rotation and found that we were their last stop, which meant we had to stay longer than our dinner to allow the kids to see all four characters. As for the food it is very basic buffet food and frankly not that great. My favorite item was the mashed potatoes; everything else was pretty much a let down. The wait staff did rush us and at times were unfriendly, although the cast members with the characters were great! We may go back for breakfast in the future but will avoid lunch/dinner on all future visits.

Pros: characters, food
Cons: felt rushed

My DH and I were taken right on time for our reservations on 2/21. The food was good, although often there were empty spots on the buffet, as if they were having a hard time keeping up with demand. The food was good, and the waitstaff friendly. We felt a little rushed as our bill appeared before we had even gotten dessert or seen all of the characters. The characters were great and posed patiently with us. Will most likely return on our next trip.

Pros: characters, kids food
Cons: the wait

We had dinner here the first day at Disney. The problem we had was our reservation was just too late for our first day. The kids were tired after the excitement of the airport and the first day at Disney. I really enjoyed the food, the service was a little slow...we waited a while for our drinks. The characters were great and the kids enjoyed the children's buffet.

Pros: characters, food, service
Cons: none

We ate lunch here on the Saturday before President's Day. The park was so busy that it actually closed to incoming guests mid-day. Even with it being so busy, the service was wonderful at this place. My daughter has a food allergy. The chef came out and took me through the entire buffet explaining what she could and could not eat. She is allergic to cow's milk, so they even had special non-dairy ice cream for her. We were very impressed with the time and care they took. The characters were awesome and took time with each of our three kids. Also, this was the best food by far that we had on the trip. So, great time and we will go again!

Pros: kids mac and cheese
Cons: food

We ate here on Feb. 1 2013. I would not return for dinner. Don't get me wrong we always go for breakfast so we decided to try dinner. I will not do it again. The only thing I really enjoyed was the kids mac and cheese. There were other things that I ate but I was not impressed at all. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and all of us said it was ok but we would not go back!

Pros: Winnie and Tigger
Cons: The cast members and the food

We had a horrible experience here in October for dinner. We came early for our ADR and we were told they would take us in 10 minutes. Instead we waited over 40, my toddler had a huge meltdown and they took another party of 3 with a later ADR before us. They did a horrific job of marking what options contained meat and with my shrieking toddler, I didn't have time to ask the cook. I ended up accidentally eating some pork which caused me to wake up that evening to vomit. I will never go back to this restaurant again!

Pros: variety, character interaction, service, speed
Cons: nothing really

We ended up here b/c we had one more meal's worth of table services left b4 the end of our trip. We booked dinner, gave our card, and thought we would be good to go. I thought this was a good place to eat. Then I read the reviews and my heart sunk. Since we were less than 24 hours out, if we canceled, we would be charged a fee. So, we decided to go w/it but didn't expect much. We are so glad we kept those ADR's!!!! This place was GREAT! I don't know where all those bad reviews have come from. Our server was fantastic, the food was always fresh, hot, and available. Lots of choices and lots of flavor. Nothing too spicey, nothing too tough. Just really really good food. We must have gotten lucky on this one lol! All of the characters came by but my kids weren't really into them. They did do a conga line thru w/the kids and everyone enjoyed that. Hubby and I would probably come back even w/o the kids!

Pros: Lots of Characters
Cons: poor food selection

We ate Christmas lunch at the Crystal Palace. We got our table at the reserved time and the service was OK. Although it was Christmas, there was no turkey/stuffing/cranberry sauce and no pumpkin pie. The carved flank steak was tough and should have been roast beef or other better cut of steak. The carved ham was very fatty. There were no peel-em shrimp (but when we complained the waiter brought us some). There were chicken nuggets on the adult buffet (really!?). On the other hand, on the children's buffet was spaghettti and meatballs so spicey we adults could not eat it. But desserts are always good at Disney, right? The "yule log" cake was filled with mocha icing--awful. The sugar cookies were flavorless. There was no sauce for the apple cobbler despite a sign saying there was. The lime pie squares were OK. The softserve seemed very "icey" instead of creamy. Knowing from past Disney buffets that you can always get a chocolate cup filled with something sweet, I grabbed a little chocolate cup topped by a berry. Unfortunately the cup turned out to be a flavorless graham-cracker type cup--not real chocolate. This is one more decline in Disney quality (add to that no more printed napkins, which disappeared last May or so) while prices continue to rise.

Pros:
Cons:

We were there 12/13-12/20/12. We had our 4 yr old grandaughter w/us. We had to complain because the characters never came to our table. She was so looking forward to getting their autograh and a picture with them. Disappointing! We were told to wait until we done eating then let them know and they would have the characters come over. The characters spent their time on the other side...it was not only my grandaughter who was not having their picture taken. They also need to make some changes to their food. It is just not as good as it used to be and do not plan to make repeated visits anymore.
