We had breakfast here January 9 and were very pleasantly surprised. We had a reservation and waited maybe 2 minutes before they seated us. The characters started appearing right away. There were 4 of us (all adults)and the characters still came and even linger around us, they were very cute with my elderly parents.
The service was very fast and efficient. We didn't have to ask for anything.
The food was excellent. This buffet had the only fresh food (besides the usual grapes) that I saw in any of the breakfast buffets we had at WDW.
I recommend this restaurant for anyone, even if you don't have kids. It was a great breakfast. Yes, it gets a little noisy, but hey it's the Magic Kingdom, just go with it.

Early entry, good food, great character interaction

Can take a while for characters to make their rounds

We have been to Crystal palace on the past 2 trips of ours and it is now a must do every trip! Getting into the Magic Kingdom before park opening is a must to be able to get those castle pics with hardly a soul in sight, as well as being able to finish breakfast and be at the front of a rope for rope drop! This is my number one must do breakfast and I recommend trying to get in as early as possible to be able to take advantage of the early entry. The Buffet had a great variety both trips, and we really enjoyed our waitresses also. The character interaction was great, although we did have to wait quite a while for Piglet to make his way over to us. That is expected at any character meal though, seeing the amount of people there at one time. I am already planning our next trip, and we will be making this our first morning meal!

This was another of our most wonderful dining experiences during our past trip in December. We were lucky enough to get sat looking RIGHT at the castle when the restaurant opened at 8 (before the park was open). It was AMAZING!
And our waiter was fantastic. He was friendly, funny, and always smiling. 10 star service!
Food was fresh and hot as always with great variety. Characters were fun and the experience was wonderful.
We'll definitely be back!!! Love this place!

We had a pre MK opening breakfast at CP on Dec 8th. We had a very late bus, my camera stopped working, and DD4 had an accident all before our ressie time, but everything at CP seemed to wipe away all of the negativity.
The food was really good for a buffet (although I'm upset that the breakfast lasagna is gone). The service was awesome!!! I spilled my drink and another server decided to have some fun with me and give me kiddie cups until I proved I could stop making a mess- LOL. DD2 got the full brunt of my spilled soda and also spilled OJ on herself. Our server and one of the restaurant managers came over to see what they could do to make her more comfortable (since she was soaked and it was like 35 degrees outside).
We did 6 character meals this trip and this was the only one where every single character was great.
The location is also great...once I got my camera working again, I was able to get those pics of the castle with an empty park + it was so easy to get to Fantasyland before the crowds from this spot. I would do CP again in a heartbeat, but we'll probably try dinner next time just to change it up.

great food selection, all you can eat buffet, food tastes wonderful

Cons:

busy and loud, long line (wait) to get in, have to be patient to get to the characters

My favorite breakfast buffet. The selection of food is great, the food tastes wonderful, and the Winnie the Pooh characters are plentiful.
The only downside of it is the wait to get in. And the fact that it is of course always very busy and crowded and loud, but the characters have a set way to get around, so they will get around to everyone, you just have to be patient.

I recently ate here with my husband, sister and parents on 1/4/11. I wasn't sure going in if the whole character breakfast thing was really for us, since we were all adults, but we all had a wonderful time! Even though there were no kids with us, we had all of the characters (Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet) come to our table at least once. They still gave us plenty of attention and let us take lots of pictures. I even got a couple of extra interactions; before "poohrade" Tigger walked behind me and pushed my sunglasses that were resting on my head down on my face! And then, when the "poohrade" passed behind me, Pooh kissed me on the nose! It was so much fun!
Not only were the characters a blast, but the food was delicious! Between us all, we tried just about everything and none of us were dissappointed. My personal favorites were the Pooh's puffed french toast, breakfast potato casserole and the Pooh's peachy casserole (or cobbler; we can't remember what it was called, but we know it was delicious). We will most likely return to do this again, maybe even making it a permanent fixture in all of our future Disney vacations!

Had breakfast here in December. The food was great, hot and filling. After this meal, we were set until dinner. Wish Pooh would have talked. Our sever was so friendly, she refilled our drinks without being asked. She really had that Disney magic. Tigger was great. He bounced all around. Got some great photos of him and my boyfriend. Next trip we will try this place for dinner. A wonderful morning. Put the day right.

This was our favorite breakfast buffet. The food was excellent, especially the Pooh's french toast and breakfast pizza. The atmosphere here is great. Our server was very friendly and refilled our drinks without having to be asked. The characters spent their time with all the kids and the parade they do around the restaraunt was a lot of fun. We will be going back for breakfast here on our next trip.

My family dined here in November of 2010. We had a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids ages 1 & 4). This was our first character meal while at Disney and it was by far the BEST! We loved our food and the interaction with Pooh & Friends was great.By the way, try Pooh's puffed french toast, delicious! We also loved all the fresh fruit that was available and that went over well with our boys.
Our waiter was very attentive. I loved watching our boys with Pooh and Tigger, very cute and definitely worth the money. We did use our dining deluxe plan to eat here and wish we planned more meals at the Crystal Palace! If you come here, dine early before the park opens so then you can get out in the park before the guests are allowed in. We were able to get on 5 rides before having any waits. Overall this was an awesome breakfast and can't wait to go back again!
