My family and I had breakfast on Easter Sunday this past April. This was also our first time eating here. We had the first reservation of the morning and were seated immediately. Pooh and all of his friends came to our table and I have older teenage children and they still made a fuss over them. Food was plentiful and delicious. Our service staff cast members was very courteous and friendly and did not rush us out. Would definitely recommend putting this on your list to do, but make an early breakfast reservation as the line to get in later does get long.

We had a breakfast at Crystal Palace this June 2011. We were pleased with the food, the service, and the characters. Only downside for us was the biscuits were still cold and some partly frozen in the middle. Otherwise the variety and quality of food was good.

Can only think of Pooh

I notice that some reviewers complain about the wait after their ADR time; interacting with the staff and fellow guests is part of the fun of a Disney vacation. Others have complained about empty platters on the line; ask the staff to replenish!
Although I am not a fan of Pooh & Friends (Remember it all started with a Mouse) I make it a point of coming to the Crystal Palace on all of my trips to WDW. I wait for my last morning for the quiet of a press pot of Kona coffee and Tonga Toast.
Running the half marathon before gives me an excuse to stuff myself at Pooh's meal.

We always have breakfast here each trip. While the breakfast buffet is good, we mainly go to see Pooh & Friends. My DH enjoys seeing the characters too, but I really get excited! Last year we didn't get any time with the characters - not sure what happened, but they didn't come by our table. This year we saw everyone and they spent time with us even though we didn't have any kids! We ate a substantial breakfast and were ready to start the day in the MK!

not all charachters came :(

We ate here last Wednesday, late morning and left a little disappointed. We were seated in the middle section and apparently the characters work their way around the windows, and then hit the middle tables. Pooh and Piglet were nice, but seemed hurried. Tigger worked his way around and was called away, never to return. Same with Eeyore. The kids were disappointed, and wanted to know why they didn't come see them.:( We had spent about an hour and half there, which is sufficient time to get in all the characters, so maybe they took breaks at that time, we'll never know. The food was good. Chocolate Mickey waffles were nice. IMO there are better character breakfasts.

food not replenished

We went here last week for breakfast. I was somewhat disappointed. We had reservations at 10:15 but had to wait about 20 minutes for our table, time we could have used on Main Street. Unfortunately, due to our late seating the food was apparently not replenished as it should have been. Last time I checked, we paid the same amount of money the earlier reservations did, so the food should be there. Went up to the buffet and there were empty platters everywhere. The food that we got was good, but we were looking for more variety. I will say that the grits were awesome, and they DID have the breakfast lasagna that another reviewer asked about. We did get to see all the characters and they did not rush through our visit. I would recommend this place for breakfast only if you can get an early reservation where you wouldn't have to worry about them running out of food!

less offerings/missing breakfast lasagne

We have dined here each year over the past 14 trips so it is easy to compare each experience. The buffet offerings have decreased considerably. Less fruit and pastry offerings. The staff are also less attentive in clearing plates or offering beverage refills. Please bring back the breakfast lasagne!!

We had an 8:05am reservation and were let into MK before it opened to the public. Magical to be on Main Street with practically no one, but the staff, around! If you are able to do this, TAKE A PICTURE OF THE CASTLE as you walk down Main Street!!! It will be the only time that you don't have a million people in your shot! Anyhow, the staff was GREAT!! Once we were seated, our waitress immediately took drink orders and encouraged us to head to the line since our table would be one of the first tables the characters begin to visit! We got excellent pictures of the girls with all 4 characters and their interaction with them was excellent! TIGGER WAS A HOOT and I have the most adorable pic of him swarming my daughter with hugs and she giggles uncontrollably!!! The food was very good and this was a great way to start off our vacation!!! LOVED IT!!!!

This was our first time here for breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and there was plently of choice. However, Pooh's puffed french toast didn't live up to the hype. Characters came around quickly and we got some great photos. Server was prompt and attentive. Hot chocolates were particularly good. Overall a great way to start the first morning of the holiday.

The breakfast is cafeteria style so it is all you can eat but watch your time cuz you might miss the character stopping by.
The characters are very accommodating and the castmembers are helpful in taking pictures.

Had a late lunch here on 2/21. Arrived just on time for a 1:05 ADR, and had to wait about 20 min for a table. Every table was full and it was very loud when we were seated, but was half empty and much quieter by the time we left at 3pm.
Food was good, it was all fresh and hot as they were so busy. Got to see all of the characters once, and a few twice. Our server was merely OK. She did clear the table well enough, but seemed a bit grouchy until it was time to present the check (and get the tip). That was the only thing that marred our experience.
This was our second visit, the first being for dinner during christmas week 2009. It was actually busier this visit.

We took the kids (6 and 3) to this one morning and they loved it. The characters spent a good amount of time with the kids and posed happily for all pictures. My wife and kids enjoyed their food. I do not usually eat breakfast (especially before Space Mountain) so I didn't have anything. I was aware that I had to pay anyway and that was fine as they had been clear about their policy. I was sitting there looking around when the manager came up and asked "Sir, you look like you are not enjoying my restaurant, is there anything I can do?" I assured him that I was just not eating, but his coming over was really nice.
The only negative I would say is that the entire party has to be there to sit. I understand half, but my older son and I went to get fastpasses while my wife and younger son got our table. They wouldn't sit us until all of us were present.

Hadn't been to this breakfast in a long time. We had a great time. Food was excellent--loved the stuffed french toast on the kiddie table! Character interaction was good and our server--can't remember his name!--was excellent! We had early reservations so went in before the park opened. Loved being on Main Street virtually alone!
