Ate here for dinner on our recent trip, the first week of April. All had bacon cheeseburgers and fries. Love the toppings bar...and admit that we all have a soft spot for Ray and his lounge songs.
Not the best food you'll ever have but it's decent and a family favorite.

Party of 5 (me, DD15, DD14, DS12, and DD10) at Magic Kingdom during Mardi Gras break. We just wanted a mid-afternoon snack, so I ordered chicken nuggets, 2 orders of fries, and 2 drink for the 5 of us to share. I personally don’t think the food is all that great, but the kids love it for some reason. I think they mostly like sitting in the air-conditioned room watching Sonny Eclipse, so we always seem to end up here on every trip. Food is ok, but on a past visit I had the chicken sandwich which was extremely dry. It wasn’t crowded during this visit because of the timing, but I have seen it unbearable in the past during lunchtime. We’ll probably keep coming because it’s a favorite of the kids, but I would probably skip it if it was just me.

Ate here again over February break right at 11 so no lines. The chicken meal is why we eat here. That is always good and plenty of food. Burger I had was dry and not very hot. Its good when not crowded so you can get a table outside easily.

Too Busy and Loud

I ate here on Feb. 19 for lunch. It was crazy busy, but didn't take too long to get our food. I had the bacon cheeseburger and pilled on the fixings like mushrooms, pickles, and grilled onions. It was a very good burger. The main problem was the crowd, which is not an issue they can control. I don't like walking through all those people with a tray full and searching and fighting for a place to sit. Might try it again on a slow day.

The lines were short, yet it took me more than 10 minutes just to get one chicken sandwich and a drink. I was standing in line and I could SEE my sandwich come out of the window, but the cast member was trying to line up ticket numbers instead of the food that had been ordered. When I joined my friends at our table, they were halfway done with their food. I won't be eating here again!

Wow, this restaurant is noisy and very crowded. It's hard to get what you order. There's always a problem with the order. The seagulls outside of the restaurant are a real pest, they try to steal food from people eating outside and of course, some brainless people feed them so go figure.

It pains me to say anything negative about anything in Disney because I believe they try so hard to give high quality food. The lines moved so slowly I thought I might have mistakenly been in line for space mountain! (Joke) Food was average and I really didn't expect more, but the prices were so high! $8 for a hot dog and fries! And I know food at Disney is high, I have eaten literally dozens of meals in all parks and resorts. It was a plain, regular hot dog. I have to say, they do have one of the best views of the castle from the outdoor patio.

Only if you are desperate. Really . Really bottom of the barrel quick food but expensive. Pass on this one. Worst burgers and fries. Do not waste your money.

This was our first time eating here. We enjoyed the slection of foods. Food quality was good. Overall was a bit pricy, but that holds true for most all Disney restraunts. We had a free dinning plan so cost was not an issue for us. Tables were a bit small for a group of 4 but managable.

Ate here Dec 2012, went to the first bay, chicken, since the lines were the shortest. Ordered quickly but had quite a wait to receive the food. Had the grilled chicken, was cooked correctly but not much in the way of taste. Other family members went through the burger line, which took much longer. Hard to find a seat and it was hard to get near the condiment station. The kids got a kick out of Sunny Eclipse. The 3 different bays for food seem to streamline the ordering process but if you have kids that want different types of food it could be difficult ordering for everyone.

We ate here with family on November 25, just before the Magic Kingdom was "closing" for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. One line was closed so there was a long wait. My husband had the Greek salad, and I had the veggie sandwich. Relatives had the chicken platters. Everything was good. I liked the vinegary cucumber salad, and the kids liked watching Sonny Eclipse. It is a huge restaurant, though, and forgetting one thing (silverware, etc) meant a walk through a ton of people and tables. Not our favorite, but an okay quick meal.

Sonny Eclipse, Incompetence behind the counter
|
|
Went here on Thursday 12/13. My son went to Bay 1 (chicken) and got his quickly. Me and my wife went to Bay 2 (burgers) and didn't have quite the same luck. They seemed to run out of fries so we had to wait for them to cook and then they could not seem to get their act together. We watched others get their food before us who had ordered after us. Then we watched our drinks get watered down. Then we watched our food sit on the counter behind the workers while they talked about getting somebody else's order. My wife asked can we get our food that is sitting right there and the cast member behind the counter said in a minute. I felt like I was back home.
The good news is that the food was really good.
Sonny Eclipse has got to go. Very dated and the space could be used for more seating.

2 adults, no DDP, ate here 11-6 (Tues) about 10:40pm. The park was closing at 1 pm that night (regular hours) but many places quit serving food early. This place was one of the last open & only til 11pm.
We split the Turkey sandwich & fries (they had a limited menu also), but it was plenty of food. Place was clean, CMs were nice, pretty empty so plenty of seating too. Enjoyed the rock/music show while we ate.
I haven't been in Ray's in many years, but this was nice so I'll try it again on the next visit.

I ate here in early November 2012. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a table because the place looked very crowded, but there were some seats left. I ordered a turkey sandwich which was tasty and very big and I got french fries to go along with it which I also enjoyed. Great place for a casual bite to eat!
