Pros: Great choices of delicious food
Cons: Seating area can be crowded outside

We dined here recently for lunch. Everything was excellent. We ordered the beef nachos and Empanadas de Queso. Both entrees were very large and filling and extremely delicious! We also had the churritos, Paletas (Mexican popsicle) and the Jarritos (Mexcian soda) to drink. I definitely recommend it for a meal or quick snack. The margaritas are great also.

Pros: food
Cons: need more seating

The trick on a dining plan where half of your meals are table service and half are counter service is to try to find the best quality food on the counter service meals as you can. Sometimes you are just too darn tired to make to a better place. But cruddy hamburgers and french fries day after day get old. This is a great place to get better quality food on your counter service meals. We had the tacos. You get three tacos (soft or crunchy, I think). The soft are in a corn tortilla. The meat (your choice) was good! Chips and salsa come with it. Desserts were a little lacking...but, happing to forego a popsicle for quality food. The seating area (outdoors only) is in such a pretty place if you can get a seat. I say this...it is nice in March...not so sure I can say that in July.

Pros: Food / atmosphere
Cons: Birds

Food was wonderful! My 5 year old cleaned his plate! We will definitely go back. The only negative is the birds stalking you to get food. The price you pay for eating outside.

Pros: Tasty food
Cons: Too many birds!

Ordered from the DDP, our soft chicken tacos were good, but the tortillas were tiny! Not much seasoning on the chicken either. The Jarrito pineapple soda was delicious--glad I tried something besides a diet coke.

For dessert we picked the churritos. The dough was good, but the sauce was very runny and not very flavorful.

The restaurant is right on the water and would be pretty and relaxing if not for the hundreds of birds that come begging for food. I wish people would stop feeding these pests--the birds are so used to the hand outs that they will walk straight up to your table and help themselves when your back is turned for a second.

Pros: Yummy empanadas, good salsa
Cons: Stale chips, not enough seating, slow service

A good empanada (and gosh, I do love them) can make up for lots of shortcomings. In this case, that included stale chips, not enough tables, and slow service. But the empanadas and salsa were first rate!

Pros: Everything
Cons: None

We love Mexican food and stop here when we're not looking for a full blown meal. The amount of food this location provides is more than enough for me anyway and most of the time, my husband helps me finish the meal. The last time we were here was during the week of 1/20/13 and we both ordered the shredded beef tacos (don't recall the actual name) and it came with chips and salsa. We've never had a bad meal here and the week of 1/20/13 was no exception. The food is wonderful.

I like being able to sit outside when possible and this is the perfect place. The only time we have not been able to find a seat was during the Food & Wine Festival. As you can imagine, it's very busy during that time.

Highly recommended. Love the food, seating, location, and sites.

Pros: Good guacamole nice location
Cons: Not worth the price strange beef taco

My daughter and I paid $30.00 for a chicken taco dinner and a beef taco dinner with a side of guacamole. All the taco is was meat in a soft shell with a side of tortilla chips. Ther was no lettuce or tomato or anything else on the taco. The chicken was tasty and nicely seasoned. The beef was nothing we were at all used to. Odd tasting not steak and not chopped beef but an odd shredded something with weird seasoning. My daughter was not happy. It looked like a lot of people were ordering nachos. Maybe stick with that or the chicken tacos. But for $30 I would skip this one. I could have fed 8 people at taco bell for that and had better tasting food.

Pros: food and drinks (sometimes)
Cons: inconsistent quality of food and service, price

This has long been our go-to QS in Epcot. We often eat here multiple times per trip. In recent trips I have noticed a decline, especially my last trip. The tacos used to be served with pico de gallo, which was fresh tasting and a nice topping. Now you get salsa which tastes like it came out of a 10-gallon drum. The meat and shells are still tasty, but the pico is really needed and missed, particularly given the price and small portion. I always get a margarita. This time the server gave me a margarita that was strangely colored. When I asked him about it, he said he didn't know why it came out that color. Well one sip told me something was quite wrong, it tasted awful. I went back to the counter and tried to get another CMs attention. He turned, clearly looked at me, then turned away. A minute or so later he came over and proceeded to challenge my complaint that something was wrong with the drink. He reluctantly gave me another one from a different machine. The chips on the side can vary in freshness and the two sauces (verde and chipotle) are not very good. I am glad that at lunch time you can eat indoors at La Hacienda. The interior is nice, particularly the light fixtures and large windows overlooking world showcase. I would avoid sitting outside during the daytime unless you want to feel like you are in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds."

Pros: outdoor seating
Cons: small portions, food

We ordered the chicken tacos and they were tiny! They looked like mini tacos. They meat was ok but there were no toppings - just meat! The tortilla chips were stale. I thought it was expensive for the amount of food you got.

Pros: everything!
Cons: none

DH and I ate here on the first night of our trip in November. We went to Epcot for extra magic hours and grabbed a bite to eat here while waiting for the line at Soarin' to clear out.

I had the empanadas, and they were awesome! DH had the tacos, and he enjoyed them as well. We both had the churritos with milk caramel for dessert.

This was something a little different than the normal quick service meal, and it will definitely be a place we will return to.

Pros: nachos, some nice outdoor seating
Cons:

The nachos are fantastic! A large order with lots of toppings. Seating out on the lagoon is nice.

Pros:
Cons: Birds and food

We grabbed a quick lunch here one day and were very disappointed. The tacos were very bland and greasy. The aggressive birds made it impossible to enjoy yourself, and one even relieved itself on my daughter and her lunch! Won't be going back.

Pros: churros
Cons: everything else

We did NOT like the tacos at all. The meat was chunky in a tomato pasty sauce. Just not what we expected. It was a windy cooler day so we froze in their outside seating. I did like the churros and sauce and the nachos and salsa were OK.

Pros: Margaritas, fast food Mexican
Cons: Food quality has declined, seating

This has always been our "go to" spot in Mexico, and I have always been surprised at the negative reviews...not anymore. We have a tradition to split chicken tacos, nachos and guacamole. While the guacamole was great - the tacos were tough and the nachos were blah...not to mention VERY skimpy on the toppings. We went back a second time and things were better, but I was still disappointed.

Pros: Portion Size, Good Food
Cons:

This is my favorite QS in Epcot. I had nachos and DH had the beef tacos. Everything was great. It is a nice place to stop for lunch after you have toured Future World all morning and are ready to head into the World Showcase.
