Our party of 5 ate here on Jan. 17. The food was excellent and the service was great. I had the sampler. I found the lamb burger to be flavorful but a little too spicy for me. The lasagna was different and very good. The cinnamon stewed chicken was wonderful. Dessert was also excellent. I love eating here. We always have a great meal at this restaurant.

Like many, I wanted to love this place. We had 10/2/12 8:05 A.D.R It had started raining and we got a little wet on the walk in. The hostess seemed to sneer a little when we walked in and she was not welcoming at all. She handed us our pager and did not say anything else. We were seated fairly quickly.
Our waitress was odd. I am still not sure if she was rude or on something. She did not make eye contact and asked us how we were and if we had been there before while she looked across the room. We answered her and then she suddenly walked off. She came back a couple of minutes later. No apology and repeated the same questions. No eye contact and no acknowledgement that she was listening. It was really odd. We were on the dinning plan but I wanted to pay for my son's meal (he is 11 and did not want the adult menus food). She seemed to roll her eyes and left to bring our drinks.
We ordered an appetizer (the spinach pie). It was ok but nothing special. For our entrees, I had the sampler and my husband had the steak. My son ordered the chicken. Husband like the steak but his vegetables were cooked to death and needed seasoning. The lasagna on mine was good but the cinnamon chicken was not. Lamb good but way to spicy and made me sick later that night. I asked for some salt and pepper twice. Finally brought some but we could not get anything out of them (they were the solid wood grinder type) We waited for waitress to return but she was MIA. I finally got the attention of a manager. I said we couldn't get anything out of them. She looked at them and said "that's because they are empty." She went and got us more but never apologized. We finally saw our waitress and she made a snippy comment about how my son did not eat his green beans. They were tough and bland but I didn't bother to complain at this point!
During this time I actually saw Cat Cora walking through the restaurant. It was not crowded and she stopped to talk to people. This perked me up as she is the reason I wanted to try this restaurant; I had no idea she would be there. She skipped over us which was the last opportunity the restaurant had, in my book, to redeem itself. We were snubbed by even her.
I really felt like we were treated badly. I am on the heavy side so not sure if it was that coupled with the rain but we dressed nice and there is no excuse to be treated that way. Our waitress gave us our check. There were 7 or 8 receipts in it. I was really confused. She finally came over and said something to me. When she looked at the 20% tip I left she suddenly became really nice and apologized and thanked us. Whatever..way too late. I tip well out of respect but I really did not want to. I hate typing bad reviews but in this case, I felt I should.

I had the short ribs which practically melted in my mouth- loved it! Potatoes were great, too. My 16 year old DD had the rib eye that was very tender. She ordered the salta sauce (like pesto sauce) on the side so controlled how much spice she had. My DH ordered the Greek lasagna which is not like a regular lasagna. It had so much bechamel sauce it was almost like a souffle on top. I did not like the baklava-too sweet. I'd still go back!

We had better food from Greece at the food and wine festival. There was nothing my kids would eat, I ended up walking the boardwalk to try to find them something. I had the trio with chicken and the lasagna. I asked for something else since I don't eat lamb. It wasn't good.

This was the first time my wife and I have eaten at Kouzzina's and it won't be our last. She had steak which was fantastic. I had the fisherman's stew and it was equally as good. Our server was great. She made several suggestions for wine and appetizers which we tried and enjoyed. Dessert was the icing on top of an already great meal. Highly recommended.

We tried Kouzzina for the first time. The food and service were wonderful. I would highly recommend it. Even though the room was crowed our server made us feel like we were her only table. I loved the fish stew and my dh enjoyed his steak. Make sure to order the baklava!

Very flavorful food and a relaxing atmosphere. The decor here is simpler and more subtle than many other Disney places I went to, which made it a nice change. The food came out surprisingly quickly. The whole fish was huge! I will definitely be back for the cinnamon chicken (which does not taste cinnamon-y). It's mild and savory with just the right amount of herbs to brighten it.

We tried Kouzzina's for the first time during our stay at Boardwalk early September and my Wife and I thought the food was fantastic, we started out with the calamari which had a really light batter and a plateful, and the saganaki with herb bread-both were great, Wife ordered the Fisherman's Stew, while I went with the Traditional Whole Fish plate which happened to be Yellow Fin Snapper served whole(I had to take a picture), before our waiter de-boned it for me, both were very tasty and very filling, we also split the Galaktoboureko(Phyllo dough tart with custard filling) which also was great. We had (2) waiters and they both were very attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable with the menu. We definitely put this restaurant on our Top 5 Hit List---DanDVC92

We love eating here. The food is always different and very good. Service was fine. It does have a high ceiling which causes it to be noisy. Unfortunately, there was a large party with screaming children near us. Parents made no attempt to stop the rude behavior, but Disney Dining can't help that. We will definitely eat here again.

We found the food at Kouzzina to be average at best. High prices for an average meal is a disappointment. Maybe we caught this restaurant on a bad day, maybe our expectations and excitement for our meal was too high...whatever the issue, we were left disappointed. The appetizers we had were greasy. I had a the Rib eye for dinner and it was so overly seasoned with rosemary, garlic, etc that the flavor just covered up and overwhelmed the meat. My husband and son both had the short ribs, which they both really liked, but for the price they both felt the should have gotten more. After spending over $100 for dinner for the 3 of us, we were so disappointed by the meal we decided we weren't going to spend more on a dessert. Save your money and spend a tad more and go to the California Grill, which my whole family feels it is worth the money. Kouzzina, in our opinion, is not.

My traveling companion and I dined at Kouzzina in early March, 2012. What a great place! It is a loud and boisterous place, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The meal started with some very tasty, warm breads, two types of olive oil, and some extremely yummy olives and garlic. When we commented how good they were, our waitress brought us more.
I had the pork tenderloin, which had an amazing, dark crust and was very good. I had been looking forward to the baklava for dessert, but rather than flaky layers, it was a large tube of pastry with a solid date/nute lump. I much prefer the baklava in Morocco which is layered and delicate. At any rate, the desserts were delivered with loud Opa's as we were celebrating birthdays.
Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend Cat Cora's Kouzzina.

Hubby and I ate here 1/5/2012. We didn't have reservations but were seated quickly. Server was very good, though I had a hard time understanding her, she had a heavy accent. We had the Kouzzina Sampler appetizer with the prawns and meatballs. Everything was delicious! I don't even like cashews and I found myself gobbling those spiced cashews right up! Hubby had the whole fish, Red Snapper I believe, OMG, it was so moist, so tender. The vegetables that went with it were delicious. I have to say, that was probably the best fish I've ever tasted. I had the Fisherman's Stew, excellent depth of flavor! Seafood was good, the broth was to die for. My only complaint would be that we ordered a few drinks and it took the bar forever to get those to us. We'll be back here on our next trip!!!

After four days of late nights and early mornings, we were officially exhausted. As I sat down on the comfortable hotel room bed at 6:00 p.m. the mere thought of simply staying in and picking on granola bars and pretzels actually seemed like a quite attractive option, yet the promise of the delicious Greek food at Kouzzina Inspired me to get back up and keep on going.
Our reservation wasn't until 9:10 p.m., but we ventured over to the restaurant around 8:30 and luckily we were sat immediately in the spacious Mediterranean themed restaurant. Chef Miguel, appeared at our table and seemed to remember me, "your vegan right", now I am not sure if he actually remembered me, I did tell the hostess that I had dinned at Kouzzina before, but anyways I decided to go with it and was just as flattered.
"What did you have last time" he questioned.
I pointed to the spiced briami, a mixture of oven roasted vegetables served over herbed orzo in a tomato sauce ( very similar to a ratatouille).
"Would you like to try something different this time" he offered. "Sure" I agreed questioningly noticing that there was no other vegetarian offerings on the menu.
"I'll make you a sampler of all the vegan options we have."
I was ecstatic, not only was I getting a different meal from the meal that I had last time but I was also going to be able to try a plethora of items, plus there was the bonus of having my custom meal specially created by a very good looking chef, I was pretty much on cloud 9.
We began our meal by splitting a salad ( figuring it was safe to go with something light). We split the endive and shaved fennel salad served with dried cranberries, spiced cashews, and yellow pearl tomatoes in a thyme vinaigrette. The salad was delicious and fresh, perfect for holding us over as we awaited our meal.
In the meantime, we also picked on the delicious sesame seed bread served with two delicious robust oils both infused with vegetables and pine nut, one even had a slight green apple flavoring, accompanied by a side of slightly salty kalamata olives.
Then at last the main course was served! Excitedly I dug in, exclaiming how delicious each offering was after each bite. There were 3 dips a creamy chickpea hummus drizzled with olive oil, a whipped garlic potato spread, and a eggplant dip served with a side of crispy toasted bread. There were two vegetarian stuffed grape leaves filled with rice and seasoned with lemon and dill, sauteed farmhouse greens with toasted garlic, oven baked gigantes beans served in a tomato sauce with buttery olive oil, rosemary roasted fingerling potatoes, Oven roasted eggplant and red bell peppers seasoned with oregano, and a warm salad made of corn, roasted red peppers, and beans seasoned with a mixture of herbs. Each offering was delicious and had a distinct taste. I thoroughly enjoyed my sampler platter.
My Dad ordered the Lamb Shank, unfortunately I was too preoccupied with my meal to take pictures of his, but apparently it was quite tasty. His meal was served over oven baked gigantes beans in a pepper sauce.
For dessert we selected the loukoumades, and were presented with an overflowing cup full of freshly made Greek doughnuts served with a strawberry and chocolate dipping sauce, quite delicious if I do say so myself!
Although the meals at both restaurants were absolutely amazing the one thing that puts these restaurants amongst my favorites was the great service and attention to detail. In both instances the chefs went above and beyond to provide an amazing and unique dining experience, they made sure to artfully create unique custom dishes to accommodate my modified diet.
In a world that doesn't always understand the hardship of having a special dietary need or modified diet, it's nice to know there's restaurants like the ones in Disney that do their best to accommodate all of the guests and provide a delicious and unforgettable dining experience. For the first time in a long time since being diagnosed with a dairy allergy and becoming a vegan, I am able to walk into a restaurant and not stress over whether or not I'll be able to eat, for the first time ever I have been able to have a selection of delectable entree options rather then a simple boring salad.
In the five months since I have been here, I have dined at over 22 restaurants here at Disney. This may seem a bit extreme but in reality I am trying to make the most of my time here and take advantage of the world class service which Disney is known for. In less then two weeks it's back to the real world which doesn't always care about those with special dietary needs, so until then I am making it my mission to continue to thoroughly enjoy myself, by surrounding myself in a friendly atmosphere, with caring cast members, while enjoying delicious food.

I never rate a 10 for anything..so this is definitely a high recommendation. Using Disney Dining, Mom and I had dinner here on Thursday 12/1. Key to remember - is that Kouzzina is only a Single Table Service Credit. If this type of cuisine suits you, then I don't think you can do any better than Kouzzina. Foodstyle is an upbeat blend of traditional Greek flavors with some Southern influences. Lovely, attentive service. Reasonable noise levels, even with lots of kids.
We shared the Sample Appetizer (paid for this separately). Mom had the seafood stew and I had the pork tenderloin. The Best pork tenderloin I've ever had. Interesting sides, great flavors. What also struck me as unusual was the portion size. You know sometimes in upscale eateries, you get a portion that is laughable, with lots of cute garnish and presentation. Make no mistake, everything was beautiful - but the portions were hefty. No excuse to leave hungry. The warm choc. lava cake ( baked to order)was eye-crossing good. We were both so impressed that we cancelled our Friday ADR for another location and came back to Kouzzina again on Friday 12/2. This has been added to our Must Do List, possibly twice each trip in the future. I cannot say enough terrific things about Kouzzina. What a surprise and delight !!!
