Pros: Great service, mango smoothies
Cons: None

Our experience here was great. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant and we had a wonderful server. It was nice that their smoothies could be ordered as your dessert. We took advantage of this and even got "to go" cups so we could drink our smoothies as we walked around Epcot after our meal.

Pros: no wait
Cons: food nothing special

The entrees were served w/ large amounts of meat and white rice but no vegetables. Would have been so much better w/ some vegetables. The honey chicken was the best thing at our table of 4 different entrees ordered. The cake and ice cream w/ ginger were yuk! But the strawberry ice cream was tasty. Overall, disappointed. Sad

Pros: Good food, beautiful restaurant
Cons:

My dad and I love Chinese food. We have ate here twice, once before and once after the rehab. We enjoyed it both times. We had the Sweet and Sour Pork and it was really good. Since the rehab, the restaurant is very beautiful. The service was good as well. I also learned how to use chopsticks here by watching other guests.

Pros: Quick service, food quality good, Jasmine tea!
Cons: Food not anything special; bathrooms too small for crowds

Our family of 4 and 1 friend ate here on 9/15/09. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. Food was fine - typical - nothing I could not get somewhere near home. The Jasmine/Blackberry unsweetened tea was the best I had ever had anywhere - very crisp and fresh.

I had the honey sesame chicken and white rice - it was not bad and very crispy (which made it extra yummy). My hubby had the fried rice - he said it was okay, nothing special. Our friend had sweet and sour chicken - said it was good but there was wayyyy too much sweet and sour sauce and he wished he had ordered the sauce on the side.

My in-laws' shared an appetizer of chicken, beef and cucumber salad - all okay - small portions, nothing special. Father-in-law had the fish of the day and said it was very good. Mother-in-law had the sweet and sour pork - again, too much sauce but good.

Overall it was good - nothing special. We would return at some point in the future - we go to WDW 3 or 4 times per year and Nine Dragons would not be an every trip or even every year visit, but we will be back. Decor was very nice too. Bathrooms were much too small, however, and lines were out the door and into the lobby most of the time.

Pros: Beautiful restaurant
Cons: busy and loud

We had reservations but because of a torrential rainstorm that lasted a couple of hours, everyone was piling into Nine Dragons and it was packed. But, they seated us right away and the waiter was wonderful. The hot and sour soup was very good, surprisingly rich for hot and sour. The peppered shrimp was terrific but the noodle accompaniment was a bit odd, not sure I really liked it. DH's honey chicken was marvelous, more of a glaze than a sauce, surprisingly light and flavorful. The waiter brought us a piece of ginger cake with a lighted candle and sang "Happy Anniversary" for our 20th anniversary! All and all it was a very positive experience.

Pros: Service & Taste.
Cons:

First time at 9 Dragons since remodel - impressive. Glad to see the menu has not changed much. Our group ordered Honey Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, 9 Dragons Fried Rice & a custom platter.
Honey Sesame Chicken - Sweet, tender & juicy chicken - tender fresh rice.
Kung Pao Chicken - Hot & Spicy, tender & juicy chicken - tender fresh rice.
Sweet and Sour Pork - Sweet with a hint of tang, tender & juicy pork - tender fresh rice. (not a pork fan)
9 Dragons Fried Rice - Plain ol' GOOD.....
Custom Platter - Basically, Kung Pao Shrimp over noodles. Wow!! What flavor.
The staff was very friendly, very accommodating and the "special order" was met with a smile and executed to perfection much to our daughter's delight. Two thumbs & two big toes up for this alone.

Pros: appertizers
Cons: a bit rushed, entrees

Ate lunch here on 1st August. We had ADRs but we didn't really need them for this time of day. We had been looking forward to this lunch, but were a bit disappointed. We were seated promptly, but our server seemed keen to get us through as quickly as possible. Eggs roll appetizers were good, but entrees were very average. We went elsewhere for dessert! Fortunately our other meals at Disney were much better!

Pros: beautiful setting, excellent service, great food
Cons: none

Our second visit to 9 Dragons in a year and still wonderful! The service here is so attentive. If you enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, I can't recommend the Dragon Pearl enough. For dinner, I had the vegetarian stir-fry, which was cooked and flavored perfectly. My 7yo son loved his sweet & sour chicken and had a great time drawing dragons on his placemat.

Pros: Food, Service
Cons: Wait time to get seated

Our party of 7 (5 adults, 2 children) ate here on 8/4/09. We arrived for our 6:45 ADR at 6:40 but were not seated until 7:10. The longer than usual wait was not bad as it was pouring rain outside. The restaurant was very busy. After being seated, our server (Wui Hang from Hong Kong) greated us within a few minutes and was very attentive to our needs. As we perused the menu, Wui Hang pointed out that since we were on the DDP, our best bet was to get the "Treasures of the Dragon" meal which included an appetizer (2 Dim Sum and 2 Spring Rolls,) a soup (choice of Hot and Sour or Chicken Consomme, a.k.a. Wonton,) a choice of 3 entrees (General Tso's Chicken; Steak and Shrimp; or Fish Sichuan, a combination of Whitefish Fillets, Tofu and vegetables in a savory broth) and a choice of dessert (Banana Cheesecake Egroll; Chinese Ginger Cake; or Strawberry Red Bean or Caramel Ginger Ice Cream.) Three of the four parents in our party got the Steak and Shrimp entree while the fourth was able to substitute Sweet and Sour Pork for the listed choices. My 12 yr old daughter got the General Tso's Chicken while the children (9 & 8 yr old girls) got the Sweet and Sour Chicken off of the children's menu. Everyone thought that the food was excellent and plentiful. The assortment of soups and desserts were enjoyed by all as well and we all left pleasantly satisfied. I was apprehensive about eating at Nine Dragons after reading some of the reviews posted here but I would whole-heartily recommend this resaurant to anyone who even remotely enjoys Chineese food!

Pros: Excellent ambiance, Quality - above average
Cons: Bit pricey...but it's Disney

We visited this restaurant on two separate occasions. Feb. & July '09 for dinner and lunch respectively.

Dinner was crowded in Feb. and we had to make reservations three weeks ahead. It could have been because of the season. However the service and the food quality was above average. We were on the deluxe dining plan this time so we splurged a bit. Special mention goes to the General Tso's Chicken Dumplings and the chef / kitchen staff who whipped up Chicken w/ Chinese Broccoli which was a special order, not found on the menu. Don't be afraid to ask the waitress for special requests.

Lunch was not crowded in July and we could have easily walked up and gotten a table. This time we were 6 adults. Yes a 10 yr. old counts as an adult for meals. Menu items were single served portions but were enough to stuff an average adult. We ordered 4 main dishes and 2 Sp. fried rice and told the waitress that we would keep our appitizer plates to share the dishes. If you like sweet I recommend the Honey Sesame Chicken. For a spicy kick, go for the Kung Pao Chicken.

Pros: GREAT FOOD
Cons: none

The food maybe expensive on the menu, but if you're on the dining plan...WHO CARES???!!! I have eaten at this restaurant 4 times in the past and have never been dissapointed. The red bean ice cream is awesome. Main dishes are great, service was great and NEVER had to wait for a table...EVER!

Pros: air conditioned
Cons: expensive

Didn't realize until we got the menu how expensive this place was. But as it was pouring down rain, we opted to stay and eat here. We did see several people get up and leave after looking over the menu. Good food. We all had sesame chicken. I split a dinner with my husband. Kids got the kids meal which was close to $9 a piece. Not much food comes with it. We left still hungry. Because of the cost, I probably would not eat here again. There are other places I would rather eat at for the same prices that give you more food.

Pros: Beautiful decor
Cons: Maybe a bit pricey

I had lunch here on 06/15 with my 17-year-old daughter and her 18-year old friend. We took our chances on a "walk-up" with no reservation and had no problem getting a table immediately. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We started with the potstickers which were very tasty and I had the sweet and sour pork and they both had the honey chicken (hope I got those names correct). The portions were plentiful and presented beautifully. It was more than enough food and very good, all be it a bit pricey. We would definitely return again.

Pros: Wonderful food
Cons:

We ate here for our first meal in Epcot and thought it was wonderful. I'm not sure why it has gotten some recent poor reviews, as our experience was very good and we will definitely return on our next trip. We had the dining plan and were told we could order the dinner special, which included an appetizer, soup, entree and dessert. The dumpling appetizer and soup were very good and even my kids enjoyed the dumplings. My entree was similar to General Tso's chicken and was delicious...much better than any of the Chinese food we've had at home. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed everything. My kids were quite happy with their chicken meals too. For dessert, we tried strawberry ice cream, ginger cake, and some kind of deep-fried cheesecake roll (which was the best of the choices!). This made a great first dinner in Epcot and I would highly recommend Nine Dragons.
