It's a nice place and we were happy to visit the Disneyland Hotel but food was only okay. Considering the prices we expected much better. Four of us ordered assorted appetizers and entrees. The consensus was the crab bakes appetizer was excellent, the salads were good, the chicken was good. But the steaks...only okay. One ordered the rib eye and one the filet.

4 Adults celebrated one 40th birthday in February 2012. We were casually dressed.
The offered bottled water and did not charge(!) us for it, which was a surpise and delight. One ordered onion soup - which she said was amazing; we ordered a side of mac & cheese. It was a generous (and shared) portion with crumbled blue cheese on top. We ordered 2 filets, 1 ribeye, and 1 Kurobuta pork. We were all pleased with the reults. They brought a birthday chocolate treat (maybe the bonita?) which we all enjoyed.
The chairs were comfortable, the linens were appropriate, and the atmosphere was very nice - easy to forget that you are at the Disneyland Resort.

The fact that I'm not eating there tonight for dinner

WOW! This was by far the best meal of our trip. We arrived 30 min early for our reservation, but were seated after waiting only 15 min. The Cast Members were all friendly and very responsive. We enjoyed our conversations with both our server as well as the manager on duty. But really what stood out here was the food. We started with the Wedge salad, which may be a common course now-a-days, but this one was delicious. We both ordered the Filet Mignon for dinner which was juicy and cooked perfectly. I had mine Oscar style which included crab cakes to die for! And we ordered the potato stack au gratin which I still dream about. Overall, it was truly one of the best meals I've enjoyed at the Disneyland resort (only to be out-done by Napa Rose, but not by much). I look forward to returning many times to come.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel from January 22 – 24, 2012. On January 23, we had dinner at Steakhouse 55. We did not have reservations, but we did not have to wait for a table at 7PM
For an appetizer I got the crab cakes – they were excellent – among the best I’ve ever had. My wife got a shrimp cocktail that was excellent as well – the cocktail sauce was very, very good. Service was very attentive, but our entrees were lacking. Both of our steaks were very dry; flavorful, but totally dry. We had high hopes after eating our appetizers, but left disappointed. We would not return in the future.
