Positive aspects of the product (pros): Proximity to Disney Springs
      Cons: Time Share Hustle

Stayed here last year and loved it, so thought we'd try it again this year, as we were spending most of our time in Disney Springs. We spent 4 nights (March 23-27). We booked a King and were given 2 fulls. That was the first disappointment. The second disappointment came when I received a call from the front desk saying we had a gift waiting for us at the concierge desk. I went down to claim the gift only to be told I was given an extra 500 points for being a Hilton member and then asked all kinds of questions about how I was spending my time in Orlando, and if I'd like to schedule a time to attend a timeshare presentation. WHAT? I was very thrown off by the deceit. Called management later and received no support. I will not be staying here again.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Approximaty to Disney Springs
      Cons: None

My husband and I booked 1 night from March 21-22 for a quick trip to Disney Springs before heading over to St Pete. We used points, so the room was free, and we were upgraded from a standard room to a beautiful 2 bedroom suite!!! It was spacious, clean and well appointed. I can't comment on any other amenities, because we literally spent every waking moment in Disney Springs or at a Disney resort...

Positive aspects of the product (pros): comfortable, spacious
      Cons: park transportation

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly. However, if you are visiting the Disney parks please see my comments at the end regarding bus transportation.
Upon arriving I entered a very nice, clean, and efficient lobby. Check-in took a few minutes but was expedient once I reached the desk. Our 2-queen suite was beautiful and spacious enough for the 2 of us. It was clean, tidy, well-stocked, and very quiet despite being a stone’s throw away from the interstate. Our “little extras” room included a Keurig coffee maker, wet bar, microwave, and refrigerator. The pool area was very pleasant with ample lounges, a hot tub, splash area, and towels provided. The staff was very pleasant. The property is convenient to I-4 and the Walt Disney World guest areas. It is a very enjoyable 15 minute-or-so walk to Disney Springs, with elevated pedestrian walkways crossing the busy intersection at the corner of the complex. Busses run in the evenings but dropped off and picked up at the exact opposite end we wanted to visit so that did not help us, but the walk was great and we didn’t have any worries about parking or navigating the behemoth garages there. This property offers a wonderful stay if you have your own transportation to Disney or are not visiting the Disney parks, as the bus service to the Disney parks is hardly adequate. The Hotel is on a bus route with other hotels in the area so your time getting to the parks (or sometimes even getting on the bus) is heavily dependent on how many riders have already been picked up, where the stop is in relation to the others, and what park you are going to--and they only run every 30 minutes. Do not plan on getting to the parks for rope drop/opening if you are using this bus system as there is not enough time built in to get you there. In addition, the information provided to us by the Hotel regarding the busses was not accurate. We were told that the service started at 8:00 am (1 hour before the parks open) but the first bus did not arrive until 8:15. We were also told what our route would be (which route served which parks) but when the bus arrived the routes were completely different. Having limited time to enjoy the parks, we gave up on the bus system and used our own transportation, at an added expense in addition to the parking fees at the hotel. With the exception of the transportation to Disney, this is a very fine place to stay.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): location, smaller hotel, nice pool
Cons: a bit dated, beds are a little hard

We stayed for five nights 3/17 - 3/22. The hotel did not become super crowded until the day we checked out. We were staying on Hilton points and got the extra benefit of a free two room upgrade, free breakfast for two and free parking due to Gold status. If you are a HHonors member be sure and ask what perks you can get! The staff was outstanding and friendly. Every staffer we encountered struck up a conversation, asked about our stay, etc....from the housekeeper in the hallway to management in the elevator. The rooms were very clean and spacious...loved the huge countertop in the master and oversized tub great for soaking after a long day. They provided the oversized fluffy towels and plenty of them. The 2nd bedroom had two dbls and an extra table outside the bathroom that allowed both our teenage girls to get ready at the same time (huge plus). We could have made due with the one room and pull out, but he extra bathroom was awesome. There are only 5 2-bdrm on property. Fridge and microwave, you'll need paper plates/utensils if you want to eat in the room. The pool area was nicer than I expected, bar was open and plenty of chairs. There is some minor construction going on and we were told a complete renovation was starting soon. It is a bit dated in the public areas and the beds and pillows need an updgrade...probably the worst I've encountered in any Hilton property.
The big plus to this property is that it is not a huge high rise...you can park and be in your room in minutes - a big perk after a long day. We remembered those long trips home with sleeping pre-schoolers and even with some Disney properties you face that exhausting long walk. No long elevator waits or long walks to your room. Location is right at the entrance to Downtown Disney resort area, so if you want to run to Goodings or MacDonalds it's right there. A nice 10 minute walk to DD. We had a rental car so we did use their buses.
My only real criticism was breakfast...the food was pretty fresh and fine but exactly the same every day! If you don't eat melon or pineapple you were out of luck. The restaurant staff was a little harried and disorganzied (we asked for to go boxes...they always had to look around for utensils and cups). You have to go to the gift shop to get a coffee cup (most places offer free coffee in the lobby, but this place gives you a ticket you have to exchange for a cup - really?)
We will try it again (especially free on points!) and look forward to the renovation.
