We do a Disney Trip every year, and we keep returning to this restaurant because the breakfast food is excellent and so different than what you get at other stops. Love the many different choices here from carved meats to the bread pudding to the casseroles. Our server this time was a gem. Easy going, not intrusive but thoughtful. Character interaction was okay (the parade for the kids around the room is great) but the one on one time was minimal this year. BTW For some reason, we get the best family photos at this place.

2nd time for Tusker house character meal. The food was fabulous - especially the juice! Our server was fantastic - friendly, helpful, and attentive. He gave us some tips for our day and made us feel like we were his only guests. Goofy was so much fun. He really acted his part!

We love this place! The food was great again, the characters were awesome, service was great. We are not big AK fans, but we make the trip to that park just for this breakfast. We will return again on our next trip.

Had ADR's here on Sept. 16, for 8:15am, park opened at 9am(highly recommend!). Got called early for our pic with Donald and then seated. Characters came into the second room, where we were seated, quickly, but not rushed. Got out early and were one of the first ones on Kilimanjaro Safari!

We ate here at 8am our first day at Disney. Since we were the first group, got lots of great pictures of the park early and the buffet was not crowded. The waiter was great and took pictures for us so we could both be in them. He even went and got my husband from round two at the buffet when Daisy came along. Food was really good and kept us full until dinner time! And since we were right by the Safari and were done before rope drop, we made it onto the first jeep of the day!

Have dined here 3 other times and has always been very good. Like the selection of food and it is always hot etc. This is the first time that it has taken soooooo long to see the characters. We had a 8:05 ADR and it was 9:15 and we had only seen Daisy and Mickey - and we saw Daisy then because the nice person who was with her knew we had a rsvp for Wild Animal Trek to get to. I would go back but hope they speed this up!

We went to Donald's Breakfast buffet on our trip in July of 2011. Food was very good and we had the best service. Our waiter was very attentive and fun. The service we received was top notch. The characters were great and it was a magical experience.

This is the second time my family has eaten here. The buffet food is fine and there are plenty of choices; however, this year we had the rudest server out of our entire 7 day trip.
When we were seated, she came to our table with a very rude attitude. She filled our glasses with juice, sat down a pot of coffee (did not offer to fill our cups) and walked off.
Before she left I asked if the characters would come back around to the tables if we missed one while at the buffet and she snapped back that "I can't drag a character across the restaurant just to come to your table." Ouch, I did not even imply that I wanted her to do that.
I flagged her down twice (she never came back to the table to check on us) both times asking for a glass of water for my son who did not like the juice. The second time I reminded her and asked if she would "please bring my son a glass of water" because he did not have anything to drink with his meal (we'd been waiting more than 30 minutes for it), she smugly said "yes!", turned around and started bussing another table.
We were extremely disappointed with her service. Last year we had a friendly server and I think we just really drew a bad one this time around. The experience would have been very good with a better server.

Love breakfast especially a buffet. Food was always fresh. Character interaction was wonderful.
The only downside was that we waited about 20 minutes to be seated (we checked in 10 minutes early for our reservation too).

This was a great place to have breakfast. We got a fast pass for the Safari, and then went to breakfast. We did not have to wait long to get in. I have to commend the characters who work here...especially Goofy, Daisy, and Mickey. Skipped Donald because he was busy with too many little ones to spend time with these two old timers...Characters were all awesome nonetheless! If I wanted a pic taken you allowed me to take it...even posing the way I wanted. Thanks so much!
Food is good here...yummy! I agree that an omelette station would be nice though.
I think management makes their staff work too hard however. I see their staff running, not walking from table to table...come on, you make enough, hire a few more employees. Waiters/waitresses should be able to get to know their customers some...talk to them...they were too busy running to give any individualized attention...and I'm not just talking aboout mine...all of them!
Would I eat here again...youbetcha!!!

Visited Aug.31, 2011. Very nice waitress- she went beyond the call of duty making sure people in her area had enough to drink and such.
Food was quite good and there is a WIDE variety. If you left full- it would be your own fault.
My daughter wanted to get Donald's autograph- but told he does not sign. She was happy to see Mickey, Daisy and Goofy come thru though!

The food was yummy. The characters were always willing to take the kind of pics I wanted. We had a good waitress, but she was running the whole time we were there. I thought to myself, "How horrible to work for someone who tries to work you to death." So, I gave her a big tip, just so she could go home and smile, instead of crying herself to sleep. Knock it off manager, you are giving the appearance that your staff doesn't have time for us, your customer.

This is our favourite character breakfast. Love having an early morning ADR so we can take pictures on the way to the restaurant and then be at the Safari ride as soon as it opens. The food and service are excellent and the characters spend enough time to get an autograph and pictures. This was our third visit and it won't be our last.

This was good not great, not as good as Crystal Palace. We were on Disney Dining Plan and not really worth a table service when compared to other places we ate. Characters were good and its fun for kids. It was nice to drink POG (passion orange guava juice) again. However, for the price it would have been nice to have some more grown up options like a made to order omelet bar or bagels and lox like you would expect to see when paying this much for a breakfast.

We ate here for the second time on August 2. We loved the food and the juice is great. The characters don't spend a long time at the table, but we would definitely eat here again.
