We LOVED our breakfast here the last week in November. The character interaction was great and my little boys really loved getting to meet all of the characters in their safari gear. The food choice and selection was fantastic and even my pickies youngster was able to eat quite a bit. Our favorite part was the coffee. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had in all of WDW.

Came the first week of December for a late breakfast. Arrived early and was brought right to Donald for our picture and then seated. Great server! Characters immediately started coming in to the room. They were wonderful with my daughter! Loved the little parade they did around the dining room! This one was more intimate as there are a bunch of small dining rooms and you stay in your room for the parade which was nice. I didn't like others that paraded all over a large area and I couldn't keep my eye on my little one.
The picture was costly but she threw in the small 4x6's that the other members of my party took without paying extra so we ended up with 3 different pictures for one price.
Great to see all the characters at once without waiting in line and my DD3 was so excited to see Daisy!
This is a must do next time!!!

This was a great character breakfast. The food was amazing, the character interaction was awesome. The Jungle Juice was really good.
Before we went in we had our picture made with Donald Duck and he was very lively. When the line to see him had emptied he started striking different poses for the people waiting to go in. Very fun.
Daisy, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy were all fun and took time at our table for all the photos we wanted. Daisy Duck was especially awesome that day.
Would highly recommend this for anyone doing character dining.

I love this place and the food is awesome. My husband and I went up to buffet twice. The only complaint I had was I was the one clearing off our plates. They did fill our juice twice but being there was only two of us we were seated at a very small table so in order to get another plate of food you had to remove your first plate. I actually had to pick up our plates and find a waitress to hand them to. Other than that I will be back because the food is so worth it!

We loved Tusker House breakfast! Everyone was wonderful, the food was great, and the characters were entertaining! Especially if on the dining plan, I'd have no hesitation doing it again.

Ate here on 11/13/2012. The food excellent, the waitstaff great...but the problem I have is the photo op you do with Donald, for the price you pay for this place the pic should be included. But its not, the pic is way to expensive & they come while your eating to ask you to buy it...not cool. Next trip, not doing Tusker House.

Love Donald's Safari Breakfast. Jungle Juice is fantastic, characters spend a good deal of time at each table, and it is an excellent breakfast choice if you are on a special diet. When we arrived, they notified the chef of my husband and son's food allergy. The chef walked the buffet with us, told us what was safe and then offered to get all their food from the back to avoid cross contamination. She then made special gluten free Mickey pancakes, gluten free blueberry muffins and gluten free chocolate chip muffins. Everything was delicious!

I really wanted my picture with Mickey. 6 trips and it's never happened. I knew my DH wouldn't want to wait in line. So this was perfect. Breakfast was great, loved all the different options. The photographer took a picture of us with Donald with our camera, not problem. And our waitress went out of her way to make sure we had pics with Mickey and Goofy. (we didn't care about Minnie...) She even got Mickey to come back when he missed out table, without us asking. Overall it serves two great purposes. Pictures and breakfast.

My BFF and I went to Tusker House for breakfast on 9/30. We arrived on time and didn't have to wait long for our photo with Donald or to be seated. Because she hadn't been to Disney in over 20 years she wanted to be a kid and see characters. We thought it would be a nice way to do that and not have to wait in long, hot lines outside. The picture with Donald was outside and we weren't allowed to take one with out own camera. Since we were on a budget we didn't buy the picture so we had to wait in line for Donald at Camp Minnie Mickey Anyway. Only 2 characters made it to out table in the hour we were there and since I was at the buffet when Daisy came. BFF wasn't able to get a picture with her. There was no attendant or cast member to be found to take a picture for her. Because of where the buffet is (in another room entirely) I had no idea Daisy was near us or I could've come back. But the Buffet line was 2 rooms away from our table.
The food was tastey. I found the selection lacking compared to other breakfast buffets in Disney. But we wanted Mickey Waffles and we got them. I like many others just wish we weren't forced to spend another $35 on a picture because we couldn't use our own cameras.

We ate here on September 16th. Despite being 45 minutes late due to transportation issues (busing was bad from our resort). We ate here on a trip 2 yrs ago as well. We love the food here and Donald and the gang really take time to interact with everyone. We ended up having Bryon as a waiter (we had him two years ago as well. And to our amazement, he remembered us. He is a wonderful person and took time to talk to every table he waited on. He kept our drinks filled and the table clean. This is a must do every trip we make.

Another great breakfast at Tusker House on Sunday of labor day weekend - love the variety of food. Service was very good. Had 8am adr, did not stop for pic with Donald - wasn't going to purchase it - went straight to table and had eaten and seen all the characters withing 45 minutes. Stopped and had pic with Donald since there was no wait on the way out using our own cameras. Recommend getting the earliest reservation so you are within the park for the start of the day.

Our party of 2 ate here on 9/16 for an 8:20 ADR. We were let into AK early through a special check in gate. They had most of the park blocked off to us so it was easy to locate the Tusker House.
Once we got there we waited in a bit of a check-in line. After getting checked in we were directed to a line where we met Donald and had our pics taken (they also took with our camera). Then we were swept away to a table.
Our server brought us some Jungle Juice and gave us instructions for the buffet. He said the characters would not start coming out until 8:45-9:00 so we had time to eat. We each went up and had 2 platefuls of the wonderful food. There were many typical breakfast foods at the buffet (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mickey waffles, etc.) The cheese blintzes were amazing, as were all the pastries (of course!).
The characters were great when they finally came out. We waited for Mickey, Daisy and Goofy, but left before we saw Minnie. They seemed to be rushed from one table to the next, but their interactions were great. We just each gave a hug and had a picture taken with each.
The Tusker House is great, and it was nice to be able to skip the character lines elsewhere as we saw everyone here. They do try to sell you the picture with Donald. We just said "no thanks" and they left us alone, which was nice. It was fairly typical breakfast fare. However, it filled us up for the day and we didn't eat again until around 3pm.

We had a party of seven when we ate breakfast at Tusker House; we were seated within five minutes of our ADR. Our server was very friendly and did a good job of keeping our drinks filled and clearing our table of dirty dishes.
The food was good and there is a huge variety of both hot and cold dishes, with something for everyone.
The only downside was that one of the characters did not make it to our table before we left and it did not occur to us to mention it to our server until it was too late.
We enjoyed breakfast, though and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We loved our character breakfast at Tusker. The buffet was great, our server was quite awesome and we are in love with the "jungle juice". I highly recommend an early reservation so when you finish you can be ready to explore the park as it opens. We were a little disappointed that Donald didn't do autographs but overall we would definitely recommend this as a "must do".
