My husband and I ate here on February 3. I have read some negative reviews but cannot understand why. I had the canneloni, my husband the pumpkin ravioli. Both were excellent with very generous portions. Dessert, though, was really out of this world. Gelato with berries and chocolate sauce, heaven. Our server was also very good, and recomended a great wine to accompany our dinner. And, no, it wasn't the most expensive bottle on the long list. I would recommend it to everyone.

I have never ever given this low of a rating on anything in Disney. And I have never had such an awful meal at Disney either.
My husband ordered the Casareci pasta, I ordered the Fresh 'Bufala' Mozzarella (Tomato/Mozzarella salad) and the Insalata Mista Salad (2 appetizers for my meal), and our daughter ordered the Mozzarella sticks.
I had told the waiter to bring out whichever he wanted for me first, since I technically ordered 2 appetizers. I was given the Tomato/Mozzarella salad first. And my husband's and daughter's dinners also came out at that time.
When my husband's food was put in front of him, I thought we were both going to fall off of our seats. He said to the waiter, "I didn't order an appetizer." The waiter said, "That isn't an appetizer, that is your meal." The bowl in front of my husband had less pasta in it than if we had made Kraft Mac&Cheese for our daughter. Even with all the bread before dinner, he was still starving after he was done eating his pasta (which took him all of 2 minutes to finish). For $25, you would think he would at least be somewhat full and not starving. And that the meal would ate least taste good...
My daughter's mozzarella sticks (really small balls of breaded/fried mozzarella cheese laying on top of marinara sauce) were completely tasteless. She barely even finished one. My husband and I tried one and they were just awful.
My Tomato/Mozzarella salad (for $15!) was just as bland and tasteless as my daughter's mozzarella 'sticks'. I was very disappointed.
Then the waiter came back and asked if we wanted dessert. At that point, I told him I hadn't even been brought my Insalata Mista Salad and had only been brought my Tomato/Mozzarella salad appetizer. He apologized and brought out the other salad. I should have told him to just forget it because that was just as disappointing as the rest of the meal and we could have saved $12 on that.
I will never go here again and have told my friends and family about our experience, so doubt they will waste their money either. We go to Disney World at least once/twice a year and have always had good dining experiences. We have never said we would not go back to a restaurant before. I guess there is a first time for everything!
Save your money and go somewhere else...

We went in mid December for dinner without a reservation. We were all tired and had other reservations for later. The kids were tired and we were all hungry. On a whim, we walked in and asked if they had any ability to seat w/o a ressie. We were seated within 5 minutes as the Maitre d' put it "We must not keep suh a beautiful young lady waiting." My 7yo was thrilled and still believes she got us into dinner. The food was excellent. We never felt rushed. The room is big but very pretty and didn't seem overly loud. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Ate here first week of December. Food was delicious. I had butternut squash ravioli (not on allears menu) which was absolutely to die for! Profiteroles for dessert were delicious, too. Service was somewhat chaotic-but we were there early for Candlelight Package and I think it was change of shift. Had one waiter at the beginning of meal and another one at the end. Overall, it was yummy and we would definitely eat here again!

I was very disappointed by the this restaurant. There was a very little selection and the food was just not that great. Salad was fair at best not to mention my first one had a dead fly in it, and the lasagna tasted like it was from a can. I thought it was ok but it really did taste like Chef Boyardee. My Husband is not a huge fan of Italian so he hated it. The other members of our party thought it was just ok. The desserts were very good though and they gave us an extra because of the fly. I do have to say this was one of the best service we had the whole time at the WDW but I would not be returning.

This was our first visit to Tutto Italia. And we had never been to this restaurant when it was Alfredo's, so no comparisons. It was a last-minute decision so our ADR wasn't showing on their list, but the hostess eventually found it and we were seated quickly.
Tables are very close and with the big open room, there was quite a lot of background noise. Not enough to turn us off of the restaurant but not a particularly quiet, intimate atmosphere.
The starter plate of pickled mushrooms and peppers, along with a bread basket, was a nice start. We both ordered salads, which while fresh, were pretty basic.
Our server, while very friendly, either misheard or misinterpreted my entree order. I ordered pumpkin ravioli but got lobster ravioli instead. He offered to exchange it but seemed insistent that I got what I ordered. I decided to just keep what I had, rather than have to wait for a new entree. Hubby had the whole wheat spaghetti which he liked a lot. Very lightly dressed and cooked to just the right texture.
We splurged on dessert and got the profiteroles. Vanilla gelato and chocolate sauce - yummy!
We're glad we tried it and would return but it's not on the "gotta do it" list.

Tip problems, beware!!!!! Service, food

They food was ok but I have had better. I went around opening for dinner on the candlelight package using two dining credits on Dec. 18. When we got our receipt, not only did they try to charge us a $22.16 mandatory tip for a party of "3" (saying it was Disney's new policy), they also showed a suggested 18% and 20% a 38% and 48% tip. They honestly thought for poor service for our party of three, they where going to get a total of about $72.78 in a tip. And when my husband questioned the manager about it, she told him that he had to pay the 22.16 he had no choice. Well, we complained to the candlelight booth who were clueless, but when I showed our concierge our receipt she immediately called our manager of our hotel who took a copy of the receipt and is going to investigate it. She gave us back our tip money. If you choose to go, watch your tip suggestions. Unless you have a party of 6 or more, there is only suggested tips not mandatory. That is Disney's policy. Beware!!!

We were a party of 4 -- two adults and two kids (14 and 11) and ate here for dinner on December 25, 2009. We were on the dining plan for this meal.
We had reservations at 7:40. We thought we would have time to see the complete 6:45 Candlelight Processional and then hustle over, but it turns out that the processional ran late and we had to leave early in order to just make it to the restaurant at 7:40. Nevertheless we were seated right away. I noticed that there were many empty tables which I thought was unusual for one of the busiest days of the year.
Our first disappointment was that Fettuccine Alfredo was not on the menu. We ate here when it was Alfredo's just before the name change and loved the fettuccine there -- my kids still talk about it.
We really wanted an appetizer but decided to stick with just what the dining plan included.
There was a menu item that I didn't understand and asked about and it turns out it was the steak. We were warned that ordering it would take an additional 15 to 20 minutes. I probably should have still gotten it, but I decided not to hold up the table so I ordered the lobster ravioli. My wife did also. Our 14-year-old sun got the lasagna and my younger son ordered the roast veal and potatoes.
In a blink of an eye our food arrived. I don't mind quick service but this was ridiculous, especially since the ravioli was cold. Based on the reviews I had read, I was expecting large portions and we were prepared to share. Unfortunately there just wasn't much to the lobster ravioli and not much to share. I don't think it was fresh lobster, and it was tough. A complete disappointment. The lasagna was all right, but the portion was not huge, and it too was a little cold.
The veal roast was very nice. It was served in the manner of classic roast beef -- brown gravy and mashed potatoes. The potatoes tasted like they were freshly mashed.
We ordered dessert since it was included on the dining plan, which arrived in another blink of the eye. This was about a week ago and I can't remember what we had -- totally unmemorable.
Then our bill arrived. We were already talking about how we were still hungry and wondering how late the counter service at our hotel was open. I looked at the bill and it said that had we been paying cash, our total would have been $149.00 -- no wine, no appetizer, disappointing food, and we were leaving hungry. Then they "suggested" a tip of $27.00. I glanced at my watch and we had been there about 45 minutes. I was and still am appalled.
I left a nice tip but under the recommended level, given that the food was way overpriced -- even by Disney standards -- and we just were not there very long.
My advice: Vote with your feet and stay away from this rip-off joint. Maybe Disney will get the message and improve it.

Great food, service was only subpar. Last trip this was my favorite and the best meal I'd had. This time, the food was great, but not amazing. (Of course, this was also the first day of the trip, and I had a sinus infection which could have played a role) Service was really average at best, though they did bring me an AMAZING chocolate mousse for my birthday and sang as well. Despite the average service, we will be back.

One of the best dining experiences we've had at WDW. We dined here 12/17 for dinner on the dining plan. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server, Mila. She explained the dining plan and took our drink order. She was very knowledgable about each dish and gave us a few suggestions. The portions here are huge; my calamari appetizer could have easily been shared. I had the spaghetti and meatballs for my entree and I was surprised at the size of the meal. It had six very good sized meatballs and lots of pasta with REAL pomodoro sauce. No Ragu here! I asked for hot tea with my dessert and even though it was extra, we were not charged for it. Mila called it an anniversary gift! They also brought us a complimentary dessert and sang to us in Italian because it was our anniversary. They went out of their way to make us feel special and several servers, as well as the manager, came over to offer their congratulations. It was really a great meal, and we will certainly be back.

We ate here the first week of December and was seated earlier than our reservation time-I thought was great!! The food on the other hand is very bland. I've always tried to weigh against those negative comments that say this about this restaurant and Tony's Town Square in Magic Kingdom-but unfortunately the negative reviews are right on. I love Italian food and Olive Garden is better than this place!! My son got the fried fresh mozzarella and this was not fresh, very bland no flavor my son wouldn't even eat it I had too. I got the lasagna and Stouffer's frozen lasagna is 20 x's better than this!!! Our meal ended up being $100.00 and if I hadn't been on the Dining Plan I would have been very upset! I will not return unfortunately. I loved the decor though!!

We dined for dinner in Italy on 12-09-09. The service was the best of any restaurant for the entire week. The Italian sample platter was very good and dessert was great as well. As for the main course it was ok at best. My lamb was overcooked and the Lasagna was fair at best. This restaurant would have gotten a 10 if the main courses were better. I will go back in the future for another try!

There were 10 of us who ate here on November 21st. We all ordered different things and everyone loved their food. I had the lasagne and it was wonderful. We loved the bread and olives that came before dinner. The service was great! The desserts were yummy too! I'm glad we were using the DDP since the food was a bit pricey. We will definately go back here on our next trip.

Husband and I ate here around 11/20 and loved it. After being disappointed in the last Italian place, we weren't sure we'd risk it, but we're glad we did. This was a much improved menu and the service was definitley better. Very friendly and attentive servers and the food was excellent. We definitely didn't need the meatball appetizer, though it was very good. But the entree's are so large that it's too much food if you've been muching on bread and meatballs. I had fettucine primavera (don't remember the exact name) and it was soooo good. Husband had the sausage and peppers and loved it. Will definitely be eating here again!
