Pros: everything was wonderful
Cons: none

I have been to WDW 8 times and this last trip in Oct. was for my birthday (with me was DH,DD,DSIL, both DGD's 4&7). I am in my 50's and picked this restaurant for my birthday meal. We have been to all character meals and this is the best. Everyone was wonderful from the greeter to the good-byes as we left. No waiting, food is perfect, characters take all the time you need for autographs, pictures, singing parade and dancing for children is great. If you have not seen one of the characters and you are ready to leave they call that character to your table. I will return to this restaurant on every trip.

Pros: Characters, Food, Service
Cons: None

Our party of 10 (6 adults, 4 year old, 2 year old, 10 months, 6 months) ate here on Wednesday, October 21st. We had reservations for 8:00. We were running about 10 minutes late. Check in and seating went quickly and smoothly. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Our server, Belinda, was very nice and attended to our needs. She kept drinks filled and plates cleared. The food was buffet style. The selection was good and the lines were not long!

The characters spent enough time to take pictures and play with the children. It was everything I hoped for in a character meal. We almost cancelled this meal after a “just alright” experience at Tusker House. Boy, I am glad we didn’t! This was just a great start to the day.

There were fewer guests, attentive staff, and characters who took time to interact with the children. We will definitely go back in the future.

Pros: Food and Service were good.
Cons: Bathroom location

DH and I ate here for lunch on 9/18. We felt a little silly being there and not having any children with us. We had eaten here on a previous trip with DH's family and enjoyed the food. All of the characters came around and spent time with us posing for picture's and playing. It was one of our more memorable meals. The food was very good. Our server brought out a plate with chocolate covered strawberries on it for our anniversary. She really made it special for us and we appreciated it. This was one of the few places we actually left a 20% tip.
The only complaint DH had were the bathrooms. We were seat on the side of the restaurant farthest away from them. It was a bit of an obstacle course getting to them because of having to weave in and out of tables.

Pros: good food, fun for kids
Cons: LOUD

Very good buffet food. Disney impressed me in general with their food actually. This was our first character dining experience and it did not go as well as we had hoped. My daughter liked the characters as long as they were not approaching her. My son yelled at most them to "Get Away!" But for older, outgoing kids, it would be a blast! The staff stayed on top of things and were aware of my son's feelings about the characters. I found myself singing the songs the rest of the day! As I said, food quality was great. We were RIGHT under a speaker so my father did not love that part but overall, a good experience.

Pros: fun, great for kids, yummy food
Cons:

We had an early reservation at 8am on Sept 22nd. We were the first family brought in. When we walked in the servers all were standing near the doorway clapped and greeted us for being the first family of the day. We even got a certificate. Sat right near the buffet, which was yummy and plentiful. Characters are great, came around several times, lots of interaction. A must do if you have younger children.

Pros: Food, Characters
Cons:

I was surprised at how much I liked the food at lunch b/c the dinner gets so many negative comments. We really enjoyed this with our 2 toddlers and they loved the Disney Playhouse Characters. They got together and sang and the kids thought that was great. Overall a very good experience for the middle of the day.

Pros: great buffet, great characters with good show
Cons:

I was iffy on this but really am glad we tried it. I would actually say it was one of our favorites. The atmosphere is really sleek and clean diner feel. The buffet had a great selection of food. This was the only lunch we have ever done but I loved the fact that there were hot options and cold options. I get really sick of eating hot all the time so to see fresh lunch meat and chicken salad and rolls and pickles on the bar was a very welcome idea. That was one of the best sandwiches I had in weeks. The desserts are also plentiful. The characters are great. So neat because they are different than the norm. They spent a ton of time. We were there for maybe an hour and they did at least three shows where you could sing and dance with them. The kids loved it. Super clean. When you check in, it is also nice that they have seating out front so you can wait in comfort. Great option in HS, to use a table service, where there counter services are slim pickings.

Pros: food
Cons: for younger crowd

I booked this as a late breakfast just because there were limited options in DHS. My kids are 5 and 7, and they didn't care about the characters at all. The entertainment was excellent for younger kids. The food was much better than some other buffets, but not awesome. I thought the buffet had a great variety and seemed fresh. I would do it again.

Pros: Loved the characters, good food
Cons: none

My one year old loved the character lunch! He enjoyed the mac and cheese and chicken nuggets and my husband and I enjoyed the food also. The characters danced and sang and came around to all the tables and he loved every minute of it. Was very noisy, but that is certainly to be expected of a character meal!

Pros: Good service, characters
Cons: ok food

We took 2 three year olds here on our vacation between Aug 8th-13th. They really enjoyed the characters and would get up and dance everytime that started. The food was ok, but nothing special. The characters were really nice and not too rushed when they came around.

Pros: characters were great
Cons: food ok, bad service

My family and I visited June 25 for dinner. We enjoyed seeing Winnie the Pooh and the Gang. Food was so-so. Service was horrible! Server pre-occupied. The best thing was interaction with characters.

Pros: Good service
Cons: Centered towards very young children

This was our first trip to WDW. The food was good, with a decent variety. Better than 1500 Park, but not as good as Chef Mickey's. The salad selection was better than other character buffets, but the desserts were average. The characters were cute.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and the waitress brought out two chocolate covered strawberries with a Happy 15th Anniversary card and buttons.

Pros:
Cons:

We ate here on July 8th for lunch. My daughter was thrilled to see the characters from playhouse disney. She loved how every 10 to 15 minutes they would do a song and dance. She would get up and dance with whichever character was by us. The food was different. I enjoyed the lunchmeat sandwiches, something light and not the norm in Disney. After being there for a week and a half I was ready for something not greasy or fried.

Pros: Service, food, characters
Cons:

We ate here 6/12 and were pleased with the dining experience. The characters made several rounds to the table and danced with the kids. Very entertaining. Food was good as well and a nice assortment. Need to keep in mind these are Playhouse Disney characters. Waitress was attentive and kept the table cleared.

Pros: Very Cute
Cons: None

We had a ADR for 3 adults & 1 child for 9:00 AM. We arrived to check in at 8:45 AM - but even after going through the character breakfast line we had a hard time getting through the crowd that was waiting to get into the park. Our table was ready for us - but it was a bit crowded with just 4 of us - as we were seated in a corner & it was hard for the characters to get to us. The characters were all great. The little show they did was great. The food was very good standard breakfast fare. I would do this again - but would book much earlier than park opening time to avoid the crows in the front area of the park.
