Pros: Meeting Alice & Mad Hatter
Cons: No Lunch Anymore

My daughter, 6 1/2 - going into 2nd grade, had a good time here on Friday, June 19th. However, it was not the same experience as described on the WDW website. Yes, she got to meet the Mad Hatter and Alice, play games and have a cupcake. However, lunch is no longer served. We did not plan for that and my daughter was still hungry afterward.

Also, I would recommend this activity to preschoolers. My daughter said the games were hide and seek and follow the leader. Unfortunately, I think kids in grade school did not enjoy this experience as much as the preschoolers did.

I asked my daughter how she would rate this activity from 1 - 10 and she rated it a 5 - It was fun, but it wasn't a "blast."

Pros: Everything
Cons: None

My 5 year-old daughter participated in the Tea Party on March 17th and absolutely loved it!! She kept telling everyone that she met about it all week. Parents do not participate, so everything I know about it is from her. She said that they played games, decorated cupcakes, and ate. They had ham and cheese sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and apple tea (really apple juice I think). They also get to bring home a small bouquet of flowers and get their picture taken with Alice and the Mad Hatter. She had a blast and can not wait to go back!!

Pros: fun event for kids to attend without parents
Cons: none

My 4 year old (almost 5) attended this event on Friday, February 13.
Based on her report, the tea party "was funny" and she would rate it 100 stars. She told jokes to Alice and the Mad Hatter, and they told jokes, too. The sandwiches were good, the "tea" (apple juice) was good. And she says, "I loved the nuggets!"
When the parents arrived to pick up the children, they all appeared to be sleeping :-)
but they were only pretending and shouted "surprise!" Each child received a bunch of flowers to bring home (just like she did at our "grown up" Garden View Tea Room tea earlier in the week.) My daughter loved those flowers!

Pros: price, something for child to do on their own, picture included
Cons: none

My 5 year old daughter attended this event on Dec 29th. For the price, this was one of best events that Disney offers. The kids get to spend time in a small character to guest ratio event and receive an individual picture and autograph with Alice and the Mad Hatter.

This was a nice event for my daughter and she liked having an event to go to without her parents attending. Some children did not like the idea of leaving their parents, so you may want to consider if this will be an issue before booking the event.

Overall, my daughter was very pleased with the event and had a good time.

Pros: My daughter was made to feel special and had a blast
Cons: None

My daughter had a great time. They complimented her on her dress and treated her very kindly. She loved the games, but did come back hungry because she didn't like the lunch. But my daughter doesn't like much food, so no big surprise. She loved the "tea" pouring and the setting, and was positively glowing when she could give me a flower bouquet. They (the CM's) took good care of the kids (there were only 8 girls there), gave us a pager and sent us on our way. The photo they give you and the placemat, plus the hour "off duty", combined with my daughter's obvious joy in the experience (the best part) make the $40 absolutely well spent.

Pros:
Cons: None

Our 6 year old daughter did this in August 2008 and she absolutely loved it. When we came to pick her up she asked if she could go back and do it again next year. She loved playing games with Alice and the Mad Hatter. She also told us the Mad Hatter was so funny and that he tried to put grapes up his nose. She enjoyed this experience more than the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and it currently cost less plus your child gets lunch.

Pros: adorable
Cons: none

This was the highlight of the trip for my 4 year old and we did breakfast with cinderella and the boutique. The room was just adorable--a long table with beautiful decorations. Seat your child next to the head of the table and they will sit next to the madhatter or Alice. They served little turkey and cheese sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and nuggets along with a cupcake (which the kids can decorate with their fingers, of course) and some candy on the table. Dessert is first. Apple juice is served in little cups. You get a nice souvenir photo with autographs. All the kids were beaming after this event. They played follow the leader, charades and a few other games. My daughter LOVED this. Peak in the window and you just may get yelled at by the Mad hatter. He saw me and YELLED NO ADULTS which had the kids in stiches.

Pros: The character interaction
Cons: Didn't play more games

Since I didn't get to attend, I'm writing the review based on my almost 8-year old daughter's input. She attended the tea on 12/21. She loved Alice and thought that the Mad Hatter was crazy and fun. She was disappointed that she didn't get to play more games - they only had time to pretend that they were tea cups.

My daughter enjoyed the tea, but I think that she was a bit old for the experience even though Disney recommnends it for up to age 10. Most of the kids there were between ages 4-6. I think that this tea should be recommended to age 8 at the most.

At $30 plus some change, this tea is a good value for parents who want to send their princesses to a tea at Disney. I recommend the tea, but definitely consider your daughter's maturity before signing up.

Pros: Very well done, good value
Cons: None

My daughter attended on 10/11. This was her second time and she just loves this. There were more kids this time (maybe 15-18) but everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. She had been to the Bibbidi Bobbodi Boutique prior to the tea party, since we were celebrating her 5th birthday, and she loved going to the tea party all dressed up. This is an extremely well done event and a good value too.

Pros: The girls felt so grown up!
Cons: None

My daughter, age 5, did the tea party in Sept. '07. She had fun playing with the other girls, playing hide and seek with Alice and the Mad Hatter, and was pretty proud that SHE got to tell the Mad Hatter a joke. Lunch was provided, as well as a nice photo in a Grand Adventures folder, autographed by Alice and the Mad Hatter. They also made a bundle of flowers for the parents, and this left her pretty proud as well. It was a fun afternoon for several little girls!

Pros: Seeing Alice one on one
Cons: none

My daughters ages 5 and 7 did the Wonderland Tea Party in March 2007 and loved it! They told me it was the most favorite thing they did on their whole trip! I was hesitant since parents could not attend, but my children didn't mind at all. They got to make cupcakes, eat sandwiches and chicken nuggets, drink "tea" (apple juice) with Alice and the Mad Hatter, and play games with them. They told me they played follow the leader with Alice and played hide and go seek. They got their picture made with Alice and the Mad Hatter, and it was given to us in a nice decorative photo holder. They also got bouquets of flowers. I have never seen my children so excited after we picked them up. When it was over my girls told us we just HAD to go to the parade at the Magic Kingdom at 3:00 because Alice told them she was leaving to go get ready for the parade because Mickey had invited her to be in it. I would definitely recommend the Wonderland Tea Party!

Pros: An overall wonderful experience!
Cons: none, really

My daughter did this tea 2 years ago at age 3 and then last Thursday, March 1, 2007. She just loved it. The first time she had a great time, too. But this time, being a little older, she really relished in the experience. The kids do something very cute in the end (I won't spoil the surprise) when you come to pick them up, and my little one was REALLY into it. She couldn't wait to do the surprise. She gabbed and gabbed about the tea more than she's talked about Kindergarten since September! My daughter talked about how Alice and the Mad Hatter came and played games with them and let them eat cupcakes BEFORE they ate their lunch! They offered sandwiches and chicken nuggets, which I was told by my little one that she ate 2. Smile She loved the games and the photo. Last time it was a little Polaroid. This year, the photo was much larger and much better quality, in a very nice cardboard 1900 Park Fare frame. She just loved the entire experience!

Pros: very fun
Cons: none

My daughter did the Tea Party on 2-9-07, she had just turned 5 the day before. Check-in was easy, they gave you a receipt with your name on it and the person who dropped off the kids had to be the one to pick them up with the receipt. The table was decorated beautifully when we went in the room. It had all sorts of little sandwiches, cupcakes, and candies on it. It also had several little figurines on it themed for Alice in Wonderland. My daughter was very excited!! The kids all waved goodbye and we left. It was kind of nice to have some adult time and just sit and relax by the lake. When we went back, the room was dark and the girls pretended to be asleep. They then turned on the lights, yelled surprise, and had fresh cut flowers for the parents. My daughter said they decorated and ate their cupcake first then had lunch with Alice and the Mad Hatter. Then they played games with both of them and told jokes to the Mad Hatter. She really liked the Mad Hatter and said he was very funny! After they did that, they went outside and picked the flowers for us. She got her picture taken with Alice and the Mad Hatter and they signed the portfolio it was put in. My daughter really had a great time and said she would love to do the Tea Party again sometime!

Pros: something fun and different
Cons:

My daughter attended the tea party on 10/16. We visit the parks a lot and this was something fun and different for her. She just turned 4 the day before, which is the age requirement for this activity. She had a wonderful time, and wants to do it again. There were about 8 or 9 little girls and one little boy. My daughter dressed as Alice, and most of the other girls were dressed as princesses or in party dresses and a couple had been to the bibidi bobbodi boutique. My daughter enjoyed her sandwiches and cupcake and playing the games with Alice and the Mad Hatter. Cute polaroid picture of her and the characters in a folder which they autographed. Would highly recommend.
