Had a lovely supper here one night. Max, our server, was fantastic and very attentive, humorous, and friendly. I had the prime rib, my DH had the NY strip, and my DD had the pork chop. All were delicious. The only complaint is dessert portions are pretty tiny. Max gave my DH (birthday) extra-special attention and gifted him with a toy racehorse at the end of the meal as a souvenir.

Ate here at this location twice and both nights our meals were wonderful! This location is not that well known and I love that because us can always get a table with little or no wait. We ate outside and this is so nice. Nice breeze and just relaxing. The waiter we had 3 years ago remembered us and came over said hi, shaked hands and asked how we were and wished us happy holidays. You can't beat this place. If you are at Downtown Disney and can't make up your mind, come on over you will find a gem if you are willing to take a little walk or ride a boat.

NO more Lunch

I have been eating at this restuarant since it opened and have ALWAYS been pleased. My favorites are the spiced salmon salad, prime rib, strip steak & lamb. All meals have been cooked as requested and the prices that go along with them are right on track. Im happy not too many people know about this restaurant and how good it is...
However, Im very dissapointed they are no longer serving lunch. My family & I always ate 2-3 meals there while vacationing. Im hoping they will bring lunch back, especially at such a large "Deluxe villa" resort.
Last, the servers we have had are always attentive and seem to go the extra mile to make sure you and your family are enjoying your meal. Even our 2 yr old...

We loved the 'clubby' feel of the Turf Club. It's a very relaxing place. The food was very good from the shrimp pasta to the surf and turf burger to the strip steak with blue cheese fondue, though the steak was a tad bit stringy, the flavor was very good. The chocolate espresso torte was awesome. The food was very good. The atmosphere was great after a busy day at the parks.

We were right on time for our reservation on 1-1-12 but were made to wait to be seated and they were not busy. Our server did not speak or understand English very well so there was some confusion there. When our food came to the table relatively fast, I wondered where the rest of it was. My oldest daughter had the free range chicken, it looked more like game hen, I had prime rib and 65% of it was fat. All of my family and I left this place hungry and will not be back.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was very pleased. We were seated right away and chose to sit outside. It was a perfect day and the outside dining provides a really nice atmosphere. It wasn't crowded and our server Max was great. He was very personable and made sure our drinks were always full. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich but ordered it without the cole slaw. It was tender and the flavor was great. The price was great too. They even had perfect sweet tea which you don't usually find at Disney. Overall this was a great experience and I will definitely eat there again.

Air conditioning

I had the lamb, which was fantastic! My partner had the steak, which he said was excellent. Our server was very attentive without being obtrusive.
The only (slight) negative was that the air conditioning wasn't given a chance to work. The weather was very warm and humid, but people were still eating outside, and the door by our table stayed open most of the time. The air conditioning mostly kept things okay where we were, but not really cool.

My family and I ate here on August 20. We had a slight problem finding the place but evetually found it. We checked in and promply seated and was on time. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 kids although my 15 year old eats like an adult. All the guys got the steak I had the prime rib and my DIL had the pasta dish, grandson had the chicken nuggets.
Some of our party had appetizers and there was a bread service. Our server was excellant especially when there were many special requests. My prime rib was done perfectly I like mine rare and it was gorgeous to look at and eat. The steaks were done just right and my son said it was the best of all beating out Le Cellier
The desserts were very good and coffee followed. We all waddled out of the Turf club. During our week at WDW there is usually one place that outshines all the rest and this one was it.

Really creamed mashed potatoes-- but good!
|
|
Just ate at the Turf Club and enjoyed it. Again. This my second time with the first being equally enjoyable, except for the monsoon my wife and I endured before getting into the restaurant. Naturally, being a little damp and entering a chilly AC environment made it a little tough to settle down and enjoy our meal. But this time was high and dry!
I was in the area on a business trip and dined there by myself. (Sorry honey) I ordered the Prime Rib, after contemplating the Salmon, and was happy with the decision. However, the Red Bliss mashed potatoes could have been named Red Bliss "pureed" potatoes as they bordered on being flat out creamed creamy. But hey, I didn't mind. My waitress, Jennifer, was very attentive and provided great service which helps make or break any restaurant experience.
Overall, a truly enjoyable meal. I've enjoyed steaks at the Yachtsman Steak House and the Wilderness Lodge Artist's Point and I'd rank this meal relatively close up there with those two.

We ate lunch here on 08/03/11 as we were staying at SSR and had planned an afternoon at the resort so it was convenient. DH, DS, brother-in-law and I all ordered French Onion Soup which was quite good followed by fish and chips and burgers. The food was just okay and the service was good until dessert time. I ordered the apple crisp which came to the table piping hot. I knew the dish was hot but when I attempted to eat a small bite the contents was so hot I badly burned my mouth. It took 5 minutes to track down our server who arrived along with the manager. The dish was still so hot that nobody could touch it. There is no way food should be served at that temperature but I was in pain and just wanted to get out of there so we were comped the gratuities as we were on the dining plan. Really, we should not have paid for the meal as I was in agony the rest of the day. I would never eat here again nor recommend this place to anyone.

My friend and I ate here on 6/5/11 and had an okay experience. We were staying at Saratoga Springs and since we had to pack our luggage that evening, we decided to eat on site.
We were able to sit on the back porch, which overlooked an area of the golf course, as well as Downtown Disney. It was a lovely evening with a nice breeze and we were never hot.
We both ordered the New York Strip with Blue Cheese Fondue. I am not much of a blue cheese fan, so I was hesitant about ordering this. But when the waitress said it came on the side, I was okay with it.
Both steaks came out very undercooked and we had to send them back. Later on, people at the other tables around us were doing the same thing, and our waitress finally said that they were having a problem back in the kitchen. The blue cheese fondue was very strong, so I did not use it, but my friend loved it. The red bliss mashed potatoes were lacking flavor, so I barely touched them.
For dessert, we both had the Warm Apple Crisp. It was very good, but neither one of us could find the “crisp” in it. It was more like warm cinnamon apples topped with vanilla ice cream.
This place was very convenient for us, but lacked the food flavor we were looking for. I would probably go to Kona Café at the Polynesian before I tried this place again.

My wife and I ate here the first night we arrived. We were heading out to Downtown Disney after so we skipped the appetizers and went right for our dinners. I ordered the grilled salmon which was delicious. My wife ordered prime rib and also enjoyed it. When my supper first arrived I looked at the plate and thought where is the rest of it? The amount of food turned out to be just right though and anything larger would have been my eyes being bigger than my stomach.
The service was fast and friendly. For dessert my wife had the apple crisp and I had the Chocolate Espresso Torte. They were both very good. Whether you are staying at Saratoga Springs or not, the Turf club is a great choice for a nice meal. We sat outside on the deck and it helped add to an already nice atmosphere.

We had an early dinner on April 30th and just about had the place to ourselves. We were looking for something quick, easy, and tasty. We got all of that. From the French Dip, to Pork, to Chicken, to Fish and Chips...4 adults and 2 kids all enjoyed their meals.
It doesn't have an extensive gourmet menu or anything like that. It's a good sandwich place with a few nice touches. Since the building also serves as a clubhouse to a golf course, picture yourself finishing a round of golf. You don't want a steak dinner but you also don't want a simple hot dog. This is the place for you.

We would rank this higher but because of the tight spacing between tables, I cannot imagine dining here during a busy time. We were led here by WDW's online reservation service and since we are always looking for new places decided to give it a try. We are VERY glad we did. The food is excellent and the waitstaff attentive without being intrusive. My DW had the steak/asparagus/crab and loved it. I had the lobster-topped burger and would get it again in a minute. This place is a great hidden gem.
