Pros: size, cost, value, amenities, Everything
Cons: not on Disney property

We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights at Old Key West on Disney property in a 2 bedroom villa. A total of 8 of us travelled. We then swithed to 2615 Pawnall in the Windsor Hills resort community for 7 days. It was a 5-bedroom house, with a private pool and spa, an in home movie theater with a projection screen, reclining leather movie theater seating, foosball table, and an arcade game w/ galaga and ms. pacman. The house also had a Wii game system, PS 2, stereo system and a gas grill. 3 of the bedrooms featured king-sized beds, 1 had a queen and the last had 2 sets of bunkbeds themed to Peter Pan. The community was gated and had its own clubhouse w/ an olympic sized pool and waterslide, an arcade, store and fitness room. The house was located 3 miles from Disney. It took us less than 5 minutes to get from our house to the gates of Disney. With all of these amenities, the house cost $100 less per night than the 2-bedroom villa at OKW on property!!! We loved the place and did not want to leave. We could see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the hot tub. Every night we watched a Disney movie (free movie check out from All-Star) in our private theater. Everyday we came home and had a swim. The kids even enjoyed going to bed, b/c the bunkbeds were "pirate ships" and there was a treasure chest in the room. Each bathroom was decorated w/ different Disney characters, so the magic continued even when away from the parks. The only downside is that since it's not on Disney property, going to the Magic Kingdom was a bear (i usually stay at Wilderness Lodge and just hop a boat to the park), but that is with any stay off property, so I will not hold that against All-Star. This was as close to being on property as possible and we LOVED it. The All-Star people were the friendliest and most helpful people and that's even compared to the people at Disney! Fabulous, awesome, wonderful!! I'll definitely be coming back!

Pros: Great family condo, very clean, wonderfully decorated
Cons: Poor toilet & shower water pressure, sulphur smell/taste to water

My family & I (5 adults) stayed at one of the 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo's at Windsor Hills from 2/2/08 - 2/9/08 (condo code: Code: 4-2785 AL-WH #405). We had seen pictures of this condo on the Allstar Vacation Home website and had been assured that the pictures you saw were what you get, but after staying at other hotels where the pictures were just a joke, we did have our reservations.

With just a few exceptions however, we were extremely happy with our condo. Checkin with Allstar vacation homes was easy. They gave us our paperwork, the code to get in the condo and directions to the condo itself from their office.

Upon entering the condo, we were delighted to see that the pictures we had seen on the internet were exactly like the condo. There was a large foyer/entry and right off the foyer you had a fully stocked kitchen that was plenty big enough. Also right off the foyer was a closet with full-sized washer and dryer, laundry basket, mop & bucket and extra towels.

The condo had an open floor plan with a kitchen that had a window overlooking the dining room and living room. The dining room table was beautifully set and had room to seat 6 - 8 comfortably. The living room was very comfortable with 2 leather sofa's and big flat screen tv.

The first bedroom was right off the living room. It had a king-sized bed and it's own private bathroom and big walk-in closet. It was very beautifully furnished with plenty of storage space.

The 2nd bedroom was down the hall. It had 2 twin beds, good sized closet and a tv and vcr/dvd combo with a dresser below the tv.

The 3rd bedroom was at the end of the hall and had a bathroom right off of it. It shared a bathroom with the twin bedroom, but had doors coming from both the hall and the bedroom so that complete privacy could be afforded. The 3rd bedroom also had a king-sized bed, large dresser with mirror, big walk-in closet and plenty of space for moving around.

The bathroom that the hall bedrooms shared was very big with plenty of space for several people to share.

Access to the condo was easy. After initial checkin, you are given a parking pass and each time you arrive at the gates, the security guards opens the gate for you.

The clubhouse is very nice with wonderfully comfortable shaded furniture for lounging or relaxing near the pool. The pool is huge and while shallow, it was still an nice place to relax and take a fun swim. There was a fun slide, but unless you are a child, the water pressure was barely enough to push you down the slide.

My only complaints about condo were that the water pressure for the shower & toilets was poor. It usually took several flushes for everything to dissapear. Also, the water in the condo had a distinct sulphur smell & taste to it.

I would definitely recommend staying at this condo. The owners have done a wonderful job of making it feel comfortable & homey and with it being on the 4th floor, you get a beautiful view.

Pros: Clean, well-maintained, and proximity to Disney
Cons: 192 West tackiness

I can't say enough positive things about All-Star! We usually use my Mother-in-Law's RCI Weeks to stay somewhere in LBV. We've stayed at Sheraton's Vistana Resort twice and this condo was streets ahead of Vistana. Winsdor Hills is quiet and clean. Our condo was immaculate (unlike previous places we've stayed at) and actually looked like a home rather than a gussied up hotel room. And it is so close to Disney as well!

We are definitely using All Star for our next holiday and I've been raving about them to everyone I know.

Don't be afraid to try something new, you can't go wrong with All Star!

Pros: Plenty of space, close to everything
Cons:

We had 3 families (10 people) in a 6 BR house at Emerald Island Resort. It was an excellent choice! Plenty of room to be together or to get away from everyone if needed. Easy commute to all the parks. Plenty of cookware, linens. Also plenty of restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. Pool and grill were great. Pool alarm was tricky to operate but a nice feature with kids. Much cheaper than 3 hotel rooms, even at Disney Value resort. Definitely need a rental car if you stay here. Totally satisfied, would stay again and would recommend to friends.

Pros: Location and Comfort
Cons: Pool Safety Alarms

My wife and I have always loved to stay in the Disney resorts, but this time we thought we would try something different. We wanted something with a little more space so we would not feel so confined to a resort room with 2 kids during the Florida afternoon rain showers. The townhouse at Windsor Palms was a perfect alternative! Great location, only minutes from the Parks, and believe me we did not miss riding the cramped buses at all. No more waiting at bus stops for a bus that never comes, and plenty of space to spread out in a very comfortable and well furnished home. Best part was that we only spent half of what we would have paid for a Disney resort. Thank you Allstar!! I don't think we will stay in the Disney Resort again.

Pros: Beautiful and Clean with wonderful clubhouses and pool areas - Very close to Disney as well as excellent non-Disney dining areas
Cons: None

My family has visited WDW well over 30 times and just found All Star Vacation Homes via Deb's website a few years ago. We rave about it to everyone. We have stayed at two different condos at Windsor Hills twice now with our toddler and the grandparents. We all loved it. It was close enough to take nap or swimming breaks during the afternoon and return to the parks later. And having the privacy of our own bedrooms and not having to tiptoe around a toddler is wonderful.

Our first stay here was initially going to be a 2 room stay at Port Orleans Riverside. I took a chance and changed plans to stay in a three bedroom condo at All Star Vacation Homes. Making that change saved us $1200! That covered either Tickets for 4 adults - or our meals for the week.

We still stay onsite if it's just my husband and our little one, but when we travel with the grandparents, or others, we opt for All Star Vacation Homes.

Pros: Close proximity
Cons: none

We have rented a private home from All Star on three occasions--with the last being in October, 2005. We won't stay anywhere else. Everyone loves having a pool all to themselves. The homes are immaculate and we love having so much room to spread out and relax. It's so nice coming back to your own quiet, private place after a busy day at the parks. We hit the grocery store on the first day and always make a huge breakfast at home in the fully equipped kitchen. Their customer service has been top notch. We can't wait to return!

Pros: quiet gated community (Windsor Palms). Location very close to the parks with all roads well marked.
Cons:

We stayed twice in the same 3 bedroom townhome in the Windsor Palms Community. 8/05 (2weeks) and 11/04(10 days) Property is extremely clean and well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen necessities. Very relaxing with plenty of room to spread out which is especially important once children are asleep. Kids loved the small private pool. Community pool, game room, play courts and playground well kept.
