Ordered a Pizza to go to eat in our room for lunch. Service was good, took about 20 minutes to get pizza but it was good, better than the pizza at WDW resorts!

My husband and I are here for the parks this year for our anniversary. We Decided to stay at Shades because we had stayed here many years ago and really liked it. We did not eat at Mangino's at that time. Well, I wish we had not this time either. We were exhausted and decided to call it a day and eat here in the resort and figured we would give it a try despite the bad reviews. I know I should NEVER go against bad reviews when they outweigh the good ones. We ordered a sampler appetizer which was awful, we couldn't eat it. We then decided to order the pizza, brick oven, wood fire pizza is awesome, except it isn't here. A frozen Tontinos' pizza is better then this any day. The crust is similar to a boboli crust you get at the grocery, definitely NOT right for a brick oven, the cheese is very low grade and it wasn't cooked right, the top was not enough. It was just horrible. We did not want a box and the waitress (who was very attentive and nice) made a comment about their pizza being awesome and we just couldn't believe it. We won't be returning, probably even to Shades of Green. The food is just not good here or at Evergreens.

We went here for dinner. The fish and chips were good. The mojito was great. The pizza was awful and the strawberry shortcake was nasty. I don't know if it is hit-or-miss here.
