Pros: The Flatbreads
Cons: Cost

We ate here several times during our stay 05/02 thru 05/09.
Breakfast items I found to be good but a little over priced. Yes I know this is Disney but what you pay for here is free with a lot of mid priced hotels outside of Disney.
The Flatbreads were GREAT. This was the best pizza in Disney and we did eat at Pizza Planet. They are available late served hot and fresh.

Pros: Food, clean, cast members
Cons: none

Nice clean place, we seemed to hit it when there wasn't a crowd. We enjoyed the bounty plate for breakfast twice. It was enough for my husband and I to share, plenty for us both. I had the Turkey & Havarti sandwich and he had the chili for lunch, both very good. The Angus burger is very good too. Twice we had the flat bread pizza late at night and it was good both times.

Pros: Great food, reasonable price for WDW
Cons: No more tuna fish sandwich

We are DVC owners with the Wilderness Lodge Villas being our home resort. So we have eaten many times at Roaring Forks. I always find their food to be very good and more that enough. The homemade chips are great. Our grnadaughter and grandson love to have the Bounty breakfast. The only negative when we were there in October they no longer had the tuna sandwich.

Pros: convenience, choices
Cons: need more staff to help salad/sandwich area

Ate there 12/26. I ordered a salad and didn't realize the salad dressing they tossed it with was very sweet and sugary. They should give you a choice of dressings to appeal to more people. My sons both had flat bread pizzas and my husband had the chili. All were excellent. There was a line at the sandwich/salad area but the manager (who walked past several times) didn't stop to help her. Very convenient, great food. Staff is always pleasant.

Pros:
Cons:

We dined here several times throughout our five day stay. For lunch on 12/17, my mom and I shared the pulled pork and slaw sandwich with a side of house made chips, and a magic cookie bar for dessert. We loved the sandwich and dessert, but thought the chips were a tad on the salty side.

12/18, I got breakfast to take back to the room. I chose the strawberry and cream waffles, which were delicious, and my mom had a fruit cup and pancakes with bacon. She loved the pancakes so much she got them again on 12/20!

I decided on the chocolate lovers waffles on 12/20, and they were just as good as the strawberry ones.

On 12/18, we also brought some leftovers down to the microwave for lunch, and got a carrot cupcake for dessert-delicious and moist! I got my favorite white tea with citrus, but found it to be sickly sweet-I couldn't drink more than a couple of sips.

We never found it to be overly crowded even during prime breakfast time. Staff was always very friendly.

Pros: Quick, easy, huge portions for breakfast
Cons:

We used this mostly for our 'free' refills, which was a very welcome convenience, and the coffee wasn't bad. I just wished I'd asked about the availability for milk instead of cream for my coffee - on my last day, I saw another guest reach down and open a refrigerator underneath the coffee dispenser and pull out a carafe of milk. I had no idea.

Only ate here once, for breakfast, and got the Bounty Platter or whatever it's called. A bunch of everything, more than enough for 1, could easily feed 2, and everything was good. Otherwise it was just drinks and an occasional snack.

The only time we went by when it wasn't open was when we got back at 12:30 a.m. after the Halloween Party.

Pros: Good Food
Cons: Too Small!

Ok, so you could double the size of the place and still need more space - but the food's great and the service is second-to-none. During our visit (12 to 26 Sept 2012) we were regular visitors here. Sometimes breakfast was the full works; other times just bagels and coffee and we always managed to find a table! However, some folks don't think when it comes to small spaces. Taking a double stroller into a tiny area causes problems - and fraying tempers over the breakfast table is not a good way for ANYONE to start the day. Please, folks, fold up the strollers and make life easier for us all!! But, back to the food. We never had a bad meal at the Roaring Forks, no matter what we ordered. I even went down one evening (insomnia struck again!) and got a bowl of hot soup as a snack - still available and ready to serve just minutes before they were due to close. It was most welcome and I took my soup to the reception/lobby area and ate it in peace whilst looking around and listening to the music the Lodge had on a loop. Really, there was no better way to be lulled to sleep! The mug refill areas became very busy, very quickly during mealtimes and, as I said, the whole place could do with being bigger. But I thoroughly enjoyed it (and the Cranberry Scones!) and can't recommend it highly enough.

Pros:
Cons:

We ate here numerous times while on our recent vacation. My son just loves this place. Apparently great chicken nuggets! I ate salads and some sandwhiches and they were all good. Loved being able to have Mickey waffles for breakfast.

We often ate outside, which was nice. It does get crowded and it often takes a long time to get the hot foods, but it was a good place for us and the prices are good.

We expect to be back often!

Pros: Sandwiches, Atmosphere, Taking boat over from MK
Cons: None

We took the boat ride over from the Magic Kingdom to get a first-hand look at this beautiful resort and to have lunch. It was our last day and we had one counter service credit each left on our DDP, so we opted to try the Roaring Fork. It was not crowded the day we were there ( a Friday in early August, about 1 p.m.) Sandwiches were delicious -- I had the Turkey & Dill Havarti w/House Made Kettle Chips & a vanilla cupcake for desert - yum! Can't remember which option hubby went with, but we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The seating area is small, but it was easy to find a table. The entire resort -- Roaring Fork included -- is heavily & delightfully themed! The boat ride over and back was fun! So glad we stopped in!

Pros: Waffles with Strawberries!!!
Cons: Too small for resort, no variety

You can't get a bad review from me if you give me Mickey waffles with strawberries and whipped cream for breakfast! However, the place is much too small for a resort this size. It took forever to get dinner. It could use a little more variety, too. But, they do get another point for having serve yourself soft serve ice cream available!

Pros: burgers, cleanliness
Cons: breakfasts

I guess when you're a captive audience you have to make do with what you have. We ate here several times during our 10 day stay at the WL. Lunch/dinner were okay. Breakfast was just icky.
The burgers were good. I had a pulled pork flatbread pizza that was pretty yummy.
Desserts were good. The breakfasts were just not good. I can't eat waffles or pancakes, so that leaves me with the eggs/hashbrown or breakfast sandwich choices. All were gross. The eggs tasted fake and the hashbrowns were tasteless.
There was always someone cleaning here, it was spotless. We didn't encounter any problems with seating. We ate inside several times and outside once.

Pros:
Cons:

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, so the location of course was great. I really loved their wilderness salad and my son enjoyed the chicken nuggets. We ate or snacked here several times and enjoyed it.

Pros: Almost always open, Good Food, Quick
Cons: A bit small seating area

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge from 10/10/11 - 10/14/11. My family thoroughly was thankful for the Roaring Fork. It provides that much needed place to just grab something to eat "on the go", for those late Lunches after being in the Parks, or early morning Breakfasts. Not to mention late evening snacks. We found all of the food quite a bit better than we would of expected, and didn't have anything that we felt was "not good". This service definitely helped enhance our stay, and will probably make us want to come back to the Wilderness Lodge, rather than trying another Resort.

Pros: Convenient/Good Food/No tip needed/take-out
Cons: Gets busy at feeding times

Love all the informal "restaurants"at WDW. Of course a bit pricey. But you can get some relatively healthy food. And as with all of WDW resort small food places, they get pretty busy after 8am and other normal dining times of the day. They have great bakery items and a wide variety of beverages.

Pros: Good food, friendly service
Cons: Too small for the resort, gets crowded, limited selections

We stayed here for 7 nights starting on August 6, 2011. The selection is limited but we ate here alot for various breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Breakfasts: we tried pancakes, eggs, waffles, potatoes and bacon. Everything was fine except the bacon, blech! The. Best were the waffles.
Lunch/dinner: pepperoni flatbread, bbq pulled pork flatbread, chili, tuna sandwich, roastbeef sandwich, chicken penne alfredo. The bbq pulled pork flatbread was excellent, as was the tuna sandwich which is freshly made when you order it. My husband loved the chili and ate it almost every day we were there. My niece said the roast beef sandwich was very good, she had it a couple times.
Snacks/desserts: magic cookie bar, gluten free brownie and fat free strawberry frozen yogurt. My niece said the brownie was moist and chocolately. The frozen yogurt was creamy but I wish they had an additional choice. The cookie bar is similar to a blondie with pecans, coconut, butterscotch chips, it is awesome. I have had them before here and was excited to see they still have them.
Overall, we like the Wilderness Lodge and while we wish there were more options, we are very satisfied with the food court here.
