The service is excellent. Everything is delicious plus the recommendations were perfect. Plus its was nice to be in a quieter restaurant as compared to some of the louder restaurants around. The staff is friendly and fun

Pros:

Everything. Very fair pricing

My family of 4, with two kids at age 7 and 9, visited Kimono's on our May, 2021 trip to WDW.

I cannot say enough about how great this restaurant is!

The food was fantastic. We ordered a mix of sushi rolls and some chicken katsu. My kids all found something they loved and we ended up ordering more.
Even if you have somewhat picky eaters, the chicken katsu is basically a fancy chicken finger on a stick. We all had enough to eat and the fill was only around $50-$55. You can't really beat that at WDW, especially for a sit down restaurant.

Besides the great food, the restaurant is decorated nicely. But, what pushes them over the top is the very kind wait staff. They were very attentive, without feeling they were in the way. Pleasant to have a conversation with. Everyone shouldn't expect this kind of treatment, but our waitress even took the time to put my daughter's hair up into a Japanese style bun for her and pin some fresh flowers into it. After an early flight, an entire afternoon in the pool, and crashing for a nap on a couch at the Swan while I took a work phone call before our dinner, it was the perfect thing to lift her up a little. Made her feel like a princess.

For our family, it will be a must go whenever we return to WDW.

Pros:

Great good at a great price. Very friendly and kind wait staff.

Cons:

Bit of a hidden gem. You have to be looking for it to find it. Somewhat limited menu.

My husband and I ate here on 9/23/14. It was late and we were starving having just arrived from our late and delayed flight into Orlando.

I order the "Hot Blonde" drink and HOLY SMOKES! I cannot handle a hot blonde. It is way out of my league!! I think the only part of this drink that was not alcohol was the single ice cube that was in it (and I could be mistaken, that might have been frozen alcohol too). My dear sweet hubby can, in fact, handle a hot blonde (he is married to me after all!) so he drank it right on down.

We ate the beef satay, the pork belly, the chicken karrage, the chicken katsu, gyoza, seared tuna, and tempura. My husband also had about 6-8 pieces of nigiri sushi. I can't remember all he ordered but I know there was tuna, scallop, and eel. Everything was good and flavorful. So yummy. If I had to pick my favorite dish, it would be the beef satay, but that's not really fair, because I would order all of it again. My husband's least favorite was the tempura, but he did eat it all so.....

The "entertainment" was in the form of karaoke -- which was a blast!!! It was so much fun listening and watching the patrons get up and participate in karaoke. We did not, but it was still a lot of fun!!

We will go back here to eat and enjoy the entertainment.

Pros:

Food and atmosphere
