Pros: French Toast
Cons: nothing

We had a family of 8 eat here on 2/15/09, and everybody enjoyed their breakfast. I am still raving about the french toast and will definitely return here for our breakfast next trip. Best french toast ever!!

Pros: great food
Cons: pricey

We had breakfast Jan. 25, 09 and it was great. Waitress was wonderful & helpful. I had eggs over medium with french toast. Delicious. My husband had the stuffed frenchtoast and said it was great. The two kids had pancakes & bacon & were happy. I think it was around $60.00 with tip for the 4 of us. But then again everything at Disney is overpriced.

Pros: Convenient if you are staying at Port Orleans
Cons: Food

Our service was great and it was easy to get to first thing in the morning, but for the price, we could have gotten much more somewhere else.

Pros: great food, short wait, great service
Cons: none

We visit Boatwright's for breakfast at least once on every trip to POR. We have never had a bad breakfast here.

On this trip (11/08), 2 of us had the pancakes & bacon they were great. The other member of our party had the
French toast, eggs & bacon combo & it was phenomenal. Really the best French toast anywhere!
We'll be back in 2009!

Pros:
Cons:

Second time we have eaten here for breakfast and was good again. Our server was very nice and friendly. The french toast is very big and good. Shared the fruit platter among the four of us. Had a good breakfast overall, minus the Nescafe coffee and no whole milk to drink only 2%. We will eat here again.

Pros: Good food, quick service
Cons:

We dined at Boatwrights 10/22 and 10/23 for breakfast. Both days we had a very good waiter and waitress. The menu is small but the food is good. Portions are large and arrive quickly after ordering. Juice tasted fresh also. My daughter ordered the French toast on our last morning and just loved it. The omelettes were wonderful and you can order whatever you want in it. Food was very good.

Pros: Good quality food - and lots of it
Cons:

I can't fault the Breakfast at Boatwright's! I had the Eggs Benedict (or the Banana Stuffed French Toast) and my sister greatly enjoyed the Boatwright's Breakfast (or the Fruit Platter). There was plenty to eat and the juice was nice and cold and tasted fresh. The only reason I scored it as a 9 was the coffee - it wasn't nice at all. The Food Court had better.

Pros: service
Cons: none

We were staying at POFQ, so one morning took a leisurely walk to Boatwright's for breakfast as a change from counter service. We did not have an ADR, but were seated immediately. Our server Jennifer was very efficient and friendly. She told us that on the DDP we could have smoothies as one of our beverage choices if we didn't want juice, and even offered to prepare them to go! The food was good, the blueberry pancakes were very filling.

Pros: The pecan pie
Cons: prime rib

I have had a lot better to eat in WDW. The food was average service was ok. They seemed to rush us. We where not even half way through our salads and the main course came. I hate being rushed!!!

Prime rib was average at best. I really do not think I would waste a dining credit to eat here again.

However the Pecan pie had to be the best I have ever eaten. It was great!!!

Pros: Convenient for Riverside guests
Cons: French toast and the coffee

The menu is very limited for a breakfast place. I know they do that to make the restaurant more efficient, but still, I didn't like having so few options on the menu. My husband had the eggs benedict, and it was good. I asked about the banana French toast, and our server explained that it was deep fried. I thought that sounded too heavy, so I ordered regular French toast, not realizing it too was deep fried. The portion was enormous, but I could only eat a few bites -- just way too greasy and heavy. Another low point was the coffee. The coffee in the food court tasted better. Overall, we didn't think much of the breakfast here; it was easily the worst restaurant meal of our trip.

Pros: yummy breakfast!
Cons: slow service

Yummy food, but slow service. Be ready to wait, and wait, and wait... That's all I can say!

Pros: a restaurant on premise and not a food court
Cons: a little pricey with a smaller selection

Of the 4 adults in our party, 2 enjoyed their meals and 2 did not. The tenderloins were the best. The service was good. We had reservations, but easily changed them to a later time. The raspberry colada was to die for. Dessert was just o.k. The person that had the tenderloins thought it was one her her best meals of the trip
(she even ate at Calf. Grill). But she was the only one.

Pros: Terrific service, good food
Cons: wait for table with empty restuarant, limited menu

We've had dinner at Boat Wright's a couple of times and neither time was anything my family and I would recommend. This trip (July 2008) we decided to try breakfast.

We had ADR's for 10:25 and although the restuarant was basically empty we waited 15 minutes to be seated. I really don't know why and I normally don't mind waiting at all as I know servers are busy but it was mind boggling with only two other families in the whole restuarant why we would have to wait.

We were finally seated and were greeted by a very happy and enthusiastic server named Ampy. She was terrific! Happy, smiling, ready to answer questions, etc. We ordered the french toast, the omelette loaded and pancakes for the kids. Within 5 minutes, no kidding, our meals were on the table, hot and ready to eat.

French toast is made out of baguette bread with cinammon and sugar and is large enough to share. It was delicious. Hubby's omelette was great as well, except he said it was a tad too greasy, delicious none the less. The kids both devoured their Mickey pancakes. The food was very good overall but the menu is fairly limited. Prices are fair and it beats waiting in line at the food court.

We left with full and happy tummies, we decided we'd definitely be back for breakfast service. I'd recommend Boat Wright's for breakfast if you are staying at POR and want a yummy and relaxing start to your day.

Pros: service, food
Cons: too much food, the menu

We eat at Boatwrights twice during our recent vacation. The menu is very limited only about 6 entrees on the menu. We were on the Deluxe dining plan (which was well worth it) which includes 2 drinks and a entree. The entrees were very large and my daughter couldn't finish it all. The pancakes were light and very tasty.

The only down-fall is the limited menu, but still a good breakfast when you don't want to go to the food court.

Pros: french toast, service
Cons: price

My husband loved the French toast, which is thick bread deep fried and rolled in cinnamon and sugar. My omelet was okay. The eggs were a little over cooked. The potatoes were nothing special. We paid $10 for orange juice, since refills weren't free. Breakfast for 2 was $40 including tip.
