Pros:
Cons:

My family which consists of husband and two daughters ages 7 and 9 stayed November 20th to November 24th. First time staying at a Value Resort as we have always stayed at a Deluxe Resort or DVC property and we had a lovely experience. Didn't get the 80's or 90's building that was requested, but the 50's building was great. The maid was fantastic and had a couple of towel animals during that time.

The food court is huge compared to Deluxe resorts and had a lot to choose from. I like that had little Tangerines as a snack or dessert option. I would recommend this resort and would go back if not using DVC points.

Pros: Very accommodating, poolside room, clean
Cons: Food court food not so hot

My DH & I was here from 11/10-11/17 stayed next to the main pool, lower level, king size bed. I request the ground level due to DH had 3 knee surgeries & I have a bad knee so this was great right near the front so buses were easy to get to also. The front desk was great in helping with canceling 1 of our dining ressies, due to F&WF...way to full & it was after 10:00pm.

Online check in was a breeze too!!

As for the food court...hmmm the breakfast was a quick one needed to head home that day had the California omelet DH had another Western omelet will not do that again.

Not close to the smoking area...thank goodness & it was quiet also...Will be staying here again in Oct. 2013!!

Pros: Great Resort All Over
Cons: None

We have stayed at this resort every year since 2007. We love this resort and have no problems with it. Staff is always polite and will usually honor your requests. I would recommend this resort to any new Disney World visitor.

Pros: Clean and my preferred room was close to the pool and transportation
Cons: The walls are thin and at times it can be loud

The only negative thing that we were upset about was that the pool heater was broken (Hippity Dippity pool) and it was broken before we got there, we stayed a week and it still wasn't fixed by the time we left. We were welcomed to use the two other pools but they were over crowded from other people doing the same thing as us and we had a further walk. After talking to some other guests, they refunded some people some money but when we asked about it, they wouldn't do no such thing for us.

Pros: clean, good service,
Cons:

Can be loud during certain parts of the day because of pool parties (during mid day). Good food and service. Generally clean surroundings. Generally fast buses to most parks. Fast service when purchasing food. Staff is attentive.

Pros: clean, fun theming
Cons: Noisy

We stayed for one night to attend the food and wine festival at Epcot. We rarely stay on property anymore but we got a good Passholder's rate and figured if we were on property, we could ride the bus and safely sample some drinks without worrying about having to drive back to the resort. We did online check-in and our room in the 80's section was ready upon our arrival at 2pm.

It had been at least three years since we stayed here and we were pleased with the updates and changes. It was very nice having a fridge in the room (to store a late night snack of tie-dyed cheesecake in)! We also were impressed with the flat panel TV that actually had some regular channels on it (Food Network, HGTV, etc)- last time we were on property, it was all of about 10 channels, half of which were in foreign languages that we don't speak. The room decor seemed more understated than before- we liked the simple blue and brown carpet (with hidden Mickeys), the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Given that we spent less than 12 hours in the room, it was fine for us. It was a bit noisy- people were running down the outside hallways with rolling suitcases at 11:30pm and we heard every toilet flushing around us but once we fell asleep, we didn't notice.

Food court was crowded but manageable. The refillable mugs are still a good value, even for a short stay.

Bus service was good. On the way back from Epcot, the Art of Animation bus arrived before Pop's, so we hopped on. We walked around the resort (which looks great) and then across the bridge to Pop.

Pros: bus service and pool activities
Cons: maid service

My daughter and I stayed here 10/26-11/3 and had a wonderful time. We arrived at the resort at 130pm and our room was ready. We stayed in the 60s section. The pool had many activities for my daughter and on Halloween the had a party poolside and to my surprise Mickey and Minnie Mouse in costume ready for pictures. We never had to wait more 20 minutes for a bus even after MNSSHP. I found that truly amazing because at midnight that bus stop was packed. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. We only ran into one grumpy cast member, she was dubbed the mean lady an no one wanted to be in her line at the food court. My only complaint was the maid service all week long the maid didn't get to my room until 2 or 3. We like to lay done and rest around 1. On her day off, our room was cleaned by 1130:) This resort is fun and I will for sure return.

Pros: price, service, bus
Cons: small rooms, food court

We stayed Oct 17- Oct 23, 2012. This was our second time staying here. Biggest con is that the rooms are small, but if you stay organized it is doable. The grounds are pretty and the theme is cute. We stayed in the 70s section which was close to the bus stop, pool and food court. I know others say it was noisy, but I didn't notice. The thing I like about POP is that it doesn't share bus service with other hotels. That means it always arrives empty. The food court has mediocre food and it is crazy busy at breakfast time. We requested to be in the 70's section in a connecting room with the in-laws. Both rooms were ready when we arrived before noon on check in day. I think it's a great value.

Pros: price, fun
Cons: can be noisey

We stayed 4 nights 10/17-10/21. It was our 5th time staying at Pop, but first time staying in the 70s section(lake view). We drive,so like being close to parking which we were and there was plenty.
We've stayed in 50's and 60's prior and really enjoyed the 70's which was much quieter. We only used the buses for the MNSSHP on the 18th and used this trip to do all of the things we don't have time to do when we have a full week of tickets. We explored the resort and AOA and had time for mini-golf and shopping which was great!
We went to Kennedy Space Center one day and found it was an easy trip (have cash/coin for the tolls though) and was much cheaper to stay at POP(and more fun) than staying closer to KSC.
I recommend POP especially for those with young families or those not in their rooms much and want a good deal. The kids are now 12 & 14, so its gotten a bit tight for longer stays-we've moved up to moderates and deluxe.
The cast members and mousekeeping were as great as usual, online check-in was a breeze, and the pools and atmosphere were great.
Tip of the trip: the kids decided they'll be bringing their own ping pong balls so they won't have to ask a cast member-I thought that was a great idea.

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Small rooms, busy food court, thin walls

This was the 3rd time staying here. We were in the 70's section, and had a good location. The bad thing is, we heard EVERYTHING!!! Every time someone got up upstairs, or in the rooms on either side of us. Also, I've come to realize, it's not worth staying if you're not next to the MK or EP.
I love paying the cheap price of staying value, but not anymore.
Plus, they need to do something about the MK buses when it closes at night. It really stinks waiting a hour or more for a bus, especially when yout tired. Other than that, the bus service was fine, never waited more than 10 minutes.
Gotta warn you though, if you are a light sleeper, bring something for white noise. I had to download an app, just so I could sleep a little.

Pros: Great space in rooms, buses always on time and available, food is delicious, clean rooms/areas.
Cons: More healthier options available (or at least promoted more), can be a bit loud at times.

This was my Mother and I's first time staying in the park (I'm 26, she is 56), and it was such a blast staying at the Pop Century! First off, the front desk staff was always helpful with explaining issues such as dining meals, ticketing, travel time on the buses, and getting us in and out of our room quickly.
While most of the time we ate in our room, there was plenty of seating available at the food court, but the shopping area was slightly smaller than other hotels we visited (such as the Animal Lodge). Food was great, and we especially loved the 50's themed tv dinners (must try the roast turkey-REAL TURKEY!), though we didn't realize until after a few days that fresh fruit could be used in place of desserts (would have be nice to have been told that or even a simple sign to let us know).
The rooms were large for the two of us, plenty of space to keep both sets of luggage, and plenty of trinkets that we bought. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room/bathroom were impeccably clean. Mini refrigerators were installed for free for the room (used to charge $10/daily I believe), it was great for keeping our water bottles cold in preparation for the next days adventure, and wine that was purchased at the food court was able to be chilled without the use of an ice bucket.
Buses were always available, and thankfully because they were only going to Pop Century, there was never a long wait to get back to our room. We stayed in the 50's section of the hotel, which I must say was a great deal quieter than the rest of the resort, and the bowling pin pool wasn't used as much as the other pools (quiet and nice for those who are adults visiting, especially at night, very relaxing).
Also to note, the laundry mat the resort had was great, easy to use, and provided me with clean clothes when coming home!

I know I wrote a lot, but all I had to say was I would go back to Pop without a doubt!

Pros: Clean, Quiet, good theming
Cons: far from main building

DH and I stayed here 10/19-10/22. We were in the 80's building furthest from the main hub. Room was clean and well taken care of. We recieved a heart towel decoration on our last night there. Pop is always our fall back resort for short trips.

Pros: Service, Rooms, Price
Cons: Don't have any

I stayed at the Pop from Aug 26th to Sept 1. This was my first time that I even booked a stay at WDW. The times before were just a one day visit to the Magic Kingdom. I used the Magic Express Service from the airport to the Pop, would recommend that. Check in was really really easy, and the staff was great, the lines were small so the wait was like a couple of minutes. Read others saying the rooms are too small, they are nice rooms and I thought they were very adequate. I stayed in the 50's section in Building 1 facing the parking lot on the second floor. Noise was not a problem. The food court area was nice. The theme was good and cute, and it is worth a trip over to AOA and check out their theming. Bus Service for the Pop was good. I will be staying here again the next time I go to WDW. I highly recommend the Pop Century.

Pros: room location, buses, food
Cons: very crowded

This was our second stay here. We had a split stay 5 nights at AOA and 2 nights here. We were here 9/28-9/30. Noticed that things looked a bit run down since our last stay 3 years ago but, all was good. It seemed alot more crowded than AOA but, we did pay for a preferred room & requested the 60's floor ground floor so, that could be why. Busing here was much better than AOA. We never waited more than 10 min. for a bus here & at AOA it was ALWAYS a 20-25 min. wait!

Pros: Price
Cons: Size, Room noise level, Location of Smoking areas

Stayed for the 2nd time at POP Sept 7-17 2012, had not been there since Sept 2009.
Staff for the most part was very good, but a few of the restaurant staff's English was a little poor which made ordering food at times difficult.

We where on the ground floor of the 50's building 2, room 2136. There was nothing after our room if you went through the bushes outside our door you where basically of the resort. It was a 5 min walk to the main building and you got to pass the smoking area located in the center of main walkway to it every time unless you went along building 1's ground floor. As we experienced before at POP the paper thin walls allow you to become very familiar with your neighbors and their bathroom habits. Room was clean as long as you don't look too close, our toilet required you to jiggle the handle after ever use to keep it from running.

The food was fair at best quite possible the greasiest cheese burger I've ever eat was here. Baked good where quite good. The beverage area was always dirty, and I know they have a cast member clean here almost constantly, but the fruit flies where everywhere.

Buses where not as bad as I remembered at POP on par with my last few stays at POFQ. where very good if you started a little early.

All in all it's just a Disney low end resort better than no Disney if it's all your budget will allow.I doubt we would stay again, but if someone was going to I would recommend spending a little extra and get the preferred room away from the pools, guest are in them quite late a can be really loud.
