Pros: the characters, strawberry soup
Cons: most of the food options

1900 Park Fare used to be excellent and now since the Dining Plan has become more popular the food has gone downhill. The strawberry soup is so good! The chicken marsala was good but much of the food was pretty average; nothing to write home about. It used to be so good, what happened? The asparagus soup used to be very delicous and when we ate there on 11/6 it was very salty, I guess the chef was in love when making it. It was a Friday night and they didn't even have prime rib, it was just plain beef. Our server June was very nice and helpful. Probably our best on the whole trip. The characters are a hoot! It is so much funnier with the step sisters opposed to the mice Perla and Susie. Even though we weren't thrilled, we will probably be returning on our next visit.

Pros: Stepmother and Stepsisters
Cons: Selection/Quality

Had dinner here October 12/09, 4 adults and two princesses. This was our third time here and we were very disappointed with the selection and quality of the food. We found the buffet to be very sparse after enjoying Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. The quality didn't seem as high as in the past. Dessert area was very messy with unsupervised children helping themselves. The best part was seeing the stepmother and stepsisters, they are great. Cinderella and her Prince lacked personality.

Pros: Characters were funny, food was good
Cons: noisy, pictures are expensive

We ate here on our last night at Disney, August 22nd. The food was good, there was a nice variety and enough to make myself and my three kids happy. As mentioned in another review, Prince Charming was not extremely talkative, but we really enjoyed Lady Tremaine and the two stepsisters. They were hilarious and got into a "fight" while we were there - the kids loved it! We also had a magical moment. My son had accidently spilled water from his misting fan all over his autograph book as we were walking into the restaurant. We had it propped on the table to try to dry it out (it was soaked!) and the waitress noticed right away and said she'd go look for some paper for him. The manager came over with a brand new autograph book for him!!! That was very unexpected, and they made my 8 year old son very happy!! The pictures that they take are expensive but a nice memento of our time there. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Pros: characters
Cons: not seeing the characters

Had 8:25 dinner reservations and got there 20 minutes early like they recommended..Right away they said they are like 20 minutes behind..ok..well..this was our very first character meal ever and daughter was super excited about meeting the characters..At 9:15 we were finally asked to come back, they took our picture and quickly escorted us to our table..Our waiter was excellent and we never felt rushed but another person came over and said that the characters will be going around the room a certain way and will then be stopping by to see us..So we quickly got to the buffet, which food was decent, but Prince charming came and with zero personality posed for a quick picture and left. Soon after the 2 step sisters and Lady Tramaine came posed for a picture and quickly left. No interaction like from what I had read..Then after being there for an hour I finally asked our waiter when Cinderella was coming and he looked surprised at my question and said he'd be right back...The manager came over and said,"oh..she has left already for the night"..My daughter was heartbroken...Its now 2 hours after our original dinner reservation time and we are the only ones left in this resturant...
The only thing they said they could do was to come back tomorrow and she could then see Cinderella...well...when you plan your day at certain parks with other dinner reservations, it wasnt going to work out....They could have atleast refunded me the price of the picture I paid before at the beginning of the meal...Never saw any princess parade I have read about or anything even remote...I understand that it might have been past their "working hours" but shouldnt that be part of the deal...poor disappointed children are not good for a resturants reputation.
Our waiter again was excellent and tried to make our visit the best he could so he tipped him well which he shouldnt be penalized for.

Pros: Characters
Cons: Long Wait

This has been a favorite dinner of ours. I was a little disappointed this trip. We had a 5:10 ADR on a MNSSHP night. We didn't get seated until after 6:15! We felt a little rushed by the server once we got inside and by ourselves because we didn't want to miss too much of the Halloween party. Our waitress was friendly but you could feel the pressure to get in and get out. The characters were good but not as great as we've had at past dinners here. Again felt a little rushed. Food was good. I am hoping they just had a booking problem that night and not the restaurant going downhill because it's a favorite.

Pros: Food, characters (Prince, Cinderella, Stepmother and Stepsisters
Cons: A little noisy

My husband, two daughters and myself ate here on Tuesday, 9/29 and had a wonderful time. We were sitted at the primo table (first table the characters would come to). My daughter has food allergies so when the chef was taking me around to the buffett letting me know that was acceptable for my daughter to eat, I did have to interupt him so not to miss Cinderella. My daughter has a lot of food allergies, but the chef was great working with us and preparing food that she could eat. She even got soy ice cream for dessert. Her favorite. My family and I would highly recommend this location for dining and will go back. We were on the dining plan.

Pros: characters
Cons: food

Ate here on 8/30/09, looking forward to the characters. They were great, but took over an hour to see all of them. Had table right next to the buffet which was kind of awkward. The food was ok, not really impressed. Only a few kid friendly items which was disappointing. Don't need to hit if go to a princess meal, but nice to see the GF.

Pros: Good Food, Fun interaction with Characters
Cons: Photo session before dinner

We ate at Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare this year for Character meals and this was the better of the two hands down. The meal was much much better than Chef Mickey's. Better selection and just better quality product than at the Contemporary. Like all the other posts, the step sisters and step mother were very funny with my daughter. Most left my DS, age 3, alone because he was in his shy mood during the meal. Gave only 9 of 10 because of the Photo session that is not included in the price like it is at the Royal Table or Royal Akershus dinners.

Pros: Good food
Cons: Loud echo in the dining room

We ate here Sept. 18,2009 for our first time and was pleasantly surprised that we enjoyed the food so much. The soups were outstanding and chicken marsala excellent. Cinderella was good, but the step sisters really stole the show...what a hoot. They played a fishing game with our 2 yr old granddaughter and we all laughed so hard. Indeed there is a loud eccho in the main dining room, but knowing about that in advance seemed to help. A delightful evening for all of us!!

Pros: The Stepsisters and Lady Tremaine were wonderful!
Cons: The price is higher and the food not nearly as good as Crystal Palace

This is the second time we've eaten dinner here (with different grandkids) and I thought the food had gone down considerably in quality. Maybe it was just that one particular evening, but everything tasted bland with absolutely no flavor. The pork, beef, and salmon all tasted the same; vegetables needed seasoning and the desserts were totally institutional tasting. Salad selections were OK, nut not as good as other buffets. Good bread though.

Cinderella was lovely, but didn't spend much time with the guests. Prince Charming looked like it was the last place on earth he wanted to be, but the "ugly steps" were absolutely wonderful! The sisters visited with guests a LONG time, joked with the adults, played with the kids and made the meal extremely fun while they were around. Lady Tremaine was cold, haughty, imperious and absolutely perfect.

We never saw the Fairy Godmother.

I would only do this meal again if someone in our group just HAD to see Cinderella and we couldn't get reservations at her royal table in the castle.

Pros: strawberry soup, fresh, hot, nice variety
Cons: none

We loved this buffet. Food was fresh with a nice variety. 1st time dining here and would definitely repeat. Character interaction was fun, especially for older kids. The bread pudding with the vanilla sauce was SUPERB!!

Pros: characters!
Cons: food

This was our first dining experience of our trip. We decided to go here after my daughter did the BBB. We waited over a hour amid the confusion to get in the doors of this restaurant. When we did most of the tables were empty and we were stuck in a cramped back corner. Our server, although goofy as could be, was very attentive. The restaurant was clean and attractive. The characters were GREAT! They are the only reason I would recommend this restaurant. The food was not so good, quite terrible in fact. If you have princesses go here, just be prepared to grap a burger later.

Pros: Characters
Cons: FOOD

We waited 40 minutes for an 8pm reservation!! The characters were great !! The food was not very good.... couldn't really find much to each other than the really good mashed potatoes. We won't be returning to park fare anytime soon!

Pros: the characters
Cons: terrible food

This was the third and last time we visit this restaurant. We have enjoyed it on the other two occasions and couldn't wait to do so again but this place has gone down hill. We didn't have to wait long as previous people have said but the food was horrible. Every thing was very salty and just not good. We were very surprised as this use to be one of our favorites. The food was so bad we got counter service at Magic Kingdom after. However the characters were fantastic!

Pros: food, characters
Cons: time to wait in line even with a reservation! service

This one was the one that took us the longest time to get into the restaurant. We waited for an hour!!! To get in and eat, this was even with reservations set for 7:20 pm! When we finally got in, the characters came quickly by and posed for pictures. When we finally got to go get our food, I was surprised at the spread. It was very good and ranged in taste. Our server was alright, but may have been better. It was almost like they didn't care because they were the ones with Cinderella and Prince Charming. If it wasn't for that point, we probably wouldn't have come.
