From the CM's at the podium to the staff inside, and on to the food, this place is the best! The decor is charming, immaculately clean, and everyone exudes the Disney magic that could once be found everywhere on site! We had the hotdog, burgers, milkshake, and No Way Jose, and it was all delicious! At least five Kitchen Sinks were ordered while we were there, and the presentation was fun for the entire restaurant. It is worth the wait to get in!!!

I had first heard about Beaches and Cream through a coworker who raved about the delicious Ice Cream treats served up in an authentic diner style atmosphere. Immediately, I put the table serve restaurant on my Disney Restaurant to do list, hoping to get a chance to try it during my time here in Florida.
Then today ironically 4 of us out of the 6 of us that live together just happened to have the day off, so I suggested we all venture off to the Yacht and Beach Club Resort for a delicious dessert. My one roommate Scout, a connoisseur on all things Disney excitedly informed me that Beaches and Cream was amazing, she then continued to rattle off information about the different desserts, basically giving me a full overview of the entire menu, she was definitely on board. The simple promise of ice cream was enough to entice my other two roommates, Brandi and Kailey to also make the trip!
I will admit I was a bit hesitant about Beaches and Cream as far as finding a vegan dessert, although I was quite positive that they like most Disney Restaurants carried some type of vegan friendly ice cream I didn't too expect much, a simple bowl of tofutti or rice dream vanilla ice cream would be enough to satisfy me! Never would I have ever thought it would be possible to enjoy a traditional ice cream dessert served at a non vegan ice cream parlor, then I went to Beaches and Cream were I was quite happy to be proven wrong.
Beaches and Cream is a cute 50's style ice cream parlor complete with counter service and high top bar stools, a jute box, and a pastel color scheme. This simple restaurants serves standard American fare including juicy hamburgers, perfectly golden french fries, and of course delectable ice cream desserts. Beaches and Cream is probably most well know for their Kitchen Sink Special, a huge dessert which includes 8 scoops of ice cream, all of the toppings offered in house, and an entire can of whip cream, talk about a yummy dessert! However, if this sounds like too much for you don't even worry with an immense selection of ice cream sodas, milkshakes, and sundaes to choose from your sure to find something you like.
After a 55 minute wait (which was totally worth it) we were finally seated in the small but cozy ice cream parlor. I informed our waitress that I was a vegan and asked her about some of the topping choices, she was very good about finding out specifically what was vegan and reporting back to me. She also informed me that the restaurant carried both Toffuti and Rice Dream brands of ice cream in the location in chocolate and vanilla flavors.
Looking at all the ice cream choices, I was pretty stumped about what to order, so I simply created my own ice cream sundae which featured the winning combination of chocolate, peanut butter and banana.
My ice cream sundae was served to me in a traditional sundae dish with a hard peanut butter coating over the chocolate ice cream and sliced banana, a dish of warm creamy peanut butter also accompanied the sundae. Of course it wasn't long before I poured that over my ice cream and was happy to enjoy the combination of cold and warm ingredients together...YUM!
The Sundae was so delicious, In fact a guy at the table over from us curiously inquired about which menu selection I had chosen, after telling him I concocted the sundae myself he gave me his nod of approval and told me it looked quite good!
My roommate, Scout decided on the Mickey Mouse Sundae, made from a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream, two Oreo cookies which resembled the mickey ears, two chocolate chips which were made into the eyes, and a cherry used in place of the mouth, I have to say her mini sundae was quite adorable!
Kailey, another one of my roommates decided to go for a traditional soda shop favorite, a good old milk shake. Made with creamy vanilla bean ice cream, topped with whipped cream, peanut butter chips, and a red cherry!
Brandi ordered an Ice Cream Soda, which was made with vanilla ice cream and seltzer and doused in a cherry topping, quite an interesting combination of ingredients, but I am guessing she enjoyed it seeing as her soda cup was completely empty once we left
Beaches and Cream is a cute place for dessert or a quick bite to eat. The prices are also quite reasonable! Unfortunately, Beaches and Cream does not take reservations and due to their limited seating room and famous ice cream treats you can pretty much count on a long wait, however, with table side seating along the pool, and an action packed arcade located next door, their is plenty to keep you occupied while you wait. There is also an express take out window which offers a limited ice cream menu. Beaches and Cream is open for both lunch and dinner 11a.m.-11p.m.

We were wondering around The Boardwalk & decided to walk over to Beaches & Cream for dessert. We ordered The Kitchen Sink and OH BOY was it fun! When they bring it out the lights flash and it's announced that we ordered it & they take a photo. We had 7 people eating off it and we just about finished it. It was really fun and yummy!

We ate lunch here today (10/7). After arriving at the resort, we headed straight to the restaurant and waited half an hour outside until they opened. We were the first there and so got to "open the restaurant"-lots of clapping and cheers. Mom and I split the "Single Burger Heaven" with fries-a huge portion and soooo good! We also split the No Way Jose, which was so big it defeated us! Our server was Dolores and she was awesome. Highly recommend this place!

This review is based on two separate visits (Sept 7, 2011 and Oct 1, 2011). Both were wonderful! On Sept 7th, we had Brian H. for a server. He is the absolute best CM we have ever encountered at WDW. If you head over to B&C, ask to sit in his area if he is working! (We had a counter seat...fun!)
Both visits we had cheddar cheeseburgers and fries, and had a yummy sundae during our first visit. The food here is always on the mark! And the service is always outstanding!

Went here in September just for the Kitchen Sink. Really enjoyed it. There was 3 of us and it just defeated us. Waitress and staff were friendly and made a big deal about the whole thing.

Our party of seven ate lunch here on August 26. The food was excellent, just like I remember a soda shop to be. We then tried the kitchen sink. It was amazing.. Highly recommend it.

This is a must do for us every year. But this year in particular. You see our son, the love of our life, a Navy Seal, was recently killed defending our country. We were grief stricken and one day I woke up and said stop crying lets celebrate Kyle. So I booked a vacation in his honor at HIS favorite place in the world, Disney, and his favorite place to eat, Beaches and Cream. Well we wanted to order the kitchen sink, his favorite, but the kids were so hungry they ordered food 1st. The best grilled chicken ceasar salad on earth, great burgers, malts always great. I had been wearing a celebration pin with Kyle's name on it for a week. No one noticed except our waitress. She asked what we were celebrating and I told her she cried. Later I told her we were too full for the kitchen sink .
The managers, Pat and Lupe, came to the table, presented me with a beautiful frame and said to put Kyle's picture in it and a free kitchen sink (20 plus dollars) for anytime during our stay.
My family and I will always remember that day - true Disney memory.

As usual, I ordered a cheeseburger and a diet cherry coke, and my daughter ordered her usual cheeseburger and root beer. The food was good. We were too full for dessert, though. The ice cream treats looked delicious!
We've probably eaten here a dozen times over the years, and we really like the atmosphere of this old-fashioned-style soda shop. The music is great, and the servers are always friendly. (This time, mine returned my change in an origami envelope that she'd made from one of the $20 bills that was part of my change.)
This is a great little joint. It's just awfully small. We were pleasantly suprised that we didn't have to wait long to be seated this time; we have endured rather long waits in the past.

As always, split the double cheeseburger, onion rings, and a chocolate malt. The kitchen serves the meal on seperate plates & the malt in seperate glasses. Still one of our favorite meals on property--delicious!

The food was good. We went for the kitchen sink!!! Although we enjoyed it, the kids did not as much... Too much going on in one bowl for them. We had 4 kids and 4 adults, and we couldn't finish it. We went middle of the day and had a hard time getting seated. The 4 adults got stuck at the counter even though there was an empty booth next to us!!! Not impressed with the service. I had to hunt down our waiter for the bill...All in all, I prefer the ice cream at Ghiradelli's!!

I have always loved Beaches and Cream, it's a must do each visit. I love how you don't need an ADR and if you plan it just right you can get a spot w/o waiting, although we did have to stand at the podium a couple of minutes while three young hostesses finished up non work related talk. (ooops!) The food is decent - you can find better else where but I think it was the best veggie burger I had on property. And I got my first No Way Jose - soooo delicious! The one downer is they make a big deal to those who order the kitchen sink and the waitress who would bring them out proclaimed the announcement in a bored voice so you could sense that she was more bothered by having to do it than excited for the guests who are wide-eyed with anticipation of getting one. It's hard to remember that its many a visitors first time seeing one being served and many guest first attempt at trying to eat one. Our waitress did say a kid broke the record not to long ago and ate it 9 minutes. I can't believe it! Wow, I bet he had freeze brain!

Table Service Credit Needed
|
|
Hubby and I had lunch here on 1/23/11. Nice little "soda shop" feel - smaller space. For the space and the food choices, this is NOT a good option to have to use a table service credit on. This is definitely more like counter service food. Instead of using a table service credit, hubby and I opted to pay for lunch (less than $24 total, even with tip). Hubby had the hot dog and fruit (though they gave him BOTH fries and fruit) which he said was good. I had the veggie burger and fruit - also very good. Probably the best veggie burger I have had anywhere. We both had tea to drink. The waitress was very nice - food very good. The only problem, again - this is NOT worth a table service credit.
