This was the most peaceful character breakfast we recently experienced. Lots of different food selections. Wait staff polite. It was cute seeing the characters dressed in beach attitude. Very pleasant walk to Epcot after breakfast.

We had breakfast here for the first time last week, and the entire family really enjoyed it. The service was excellent, and the food was very good. The buffet was full of traditional American breakfast foods, and the dishes were refilled regularly.
The characters (Minnie, Donald, and Goofy dressed in their bathing suits) spent MUCH more time with us here than they did at Chef Mickey's. This was a great opportunity to get photos with the characters without waiting in line at the parks.
Our waiter noticed that it was my daughter's birthday and brought her a cupcake and birthday card signed by all the characters. The autographed card was a really cute souvenir for her.
The resort and restaurant are absolutely beautiful, and we got lots of nice photos on the property. We'll definitely return to this restaurant for breakfast on our next trip!

This is a nice relaxed character experience. The food is good and plentiful. We have dined here a number of times and always enjoyed it.

Were forgotten after we checked in making our breakfast very late.

My wife and I ate here on our 35th wedding anniversary. It falls the day after my wife's birthday the 1st week of Dec. This would have been a perfect start to the day except that we were forgotten after we checked in. We kept seeing later arrivals being seated and our pager was not going off. When I confronted them they just kept saying they were very busy and were sorry but would not admit they forgot us. So why a 9? Great food and great service from the staff after we were seated. They made certain that we were not rushed and brought a nice plate of goodies that had happy anniversary spelled out in chocolate at the end of our meal. Although most of these Disney breakfast buffets are very much the same this one was just a cut above the rest.

The food was very good as was the service. We were in the last seating, so we were encouraged to stay and keep eating since there was no rush to turn the table. They also gave DD4 a really tasty bday cupcake and a nice card signed by the characters.
We had an awesome Donald, an average Minnie, and a totally lackluster Goofy. While this is often par for the course at character meals, it stung a little more since there are only 3 characters at this meal. I personally feel that if you charge this much, you need to have at least 4 characters.

DH & I ate here on 11/11/2012. Love this place. Food was great, the characters came by & took their time at our table, our waitress was fast to keep juice & coffee coming. Will definitely be seeing this place again.

We dined here for breakfast 10/30/12. Restaurant was very busy but we were still seated approximately 5 minutes past our ADR time. Characters visited our table twice while we were there. Food was all very fresh but it appears they have a less choices than we have had before. Love the gravy they have for on top of biscuits here!!

We ate here for breakfast on November 3rd. The food was very nice and well cooked but a much smaller choice than most of the breakfast buffets at WDW (even smaller than that at Captains Grille where there is also an a la carte menu). Our servers were very pleasant and the characters nice (just 3 characters here). Nice if on the ddp but wouldn't have paid the dollars for four 'adults' if paying oop.

My favorite breakfast ! We eat here all the time when we vacation. The atmosphere is great, the servers are great and the characters really take time at the tables. The food is pretty much the same but it always seems like here they have a better selection of fruit, maybe its their layout. As every breakfast, except chef mickeys, I am disappointed that Mickey does not make appearances....I mean everyone wants to see him!

BFF and I are breakfast people. While on vacaton we decided to cancel a lunch reservation at Coral Reef and find a buffet for breakfast. Having already done Tusker earlier in the week we tried to get in somewhere else. Cape May was the only place with room. Next trip it will be one of the first places I ADR.
We ate here on 10/4 for a 10:10 reservation. It was full but we were seated almost right away. Our server took our drink orders and explained the character routes so we'd know that if one of the characters was at a certain table they'd be with us in minutes so we'd want to stay put. It was a huge help and allowed us to get food and eat but not have dirty plates or mouths full of food when Goofy, Minnie or Donald came by. We were able to see all 3 characters and each one interacted with us so well. I'm always worried when there's no child that we'll be overlooked and sometimes we are. But Goofy sat at an empty seat and relaxed for a moment. Minnie saw that BFF had Mickey on her shirt and she pointed then put her hands on her heart. It was very fun.
The food was also some of the best quality breakfast buffet I've had. And I've tried a lot at WDW. Nothing disappointed and I had my fair share (and then some) of Mickey Waffles.

Waitperson

We ate here on Sept. 19, 2012, this is one place we always make sure to include in our ADRs. As always the characters were fun, and the food was good. Unfortunately our waitperson brought down the whole experience. When Donald was at our table, she spilled soda on me and on the coffee cups, and said she would be back with fresh cups and orange juice. We asked once, and I finally stopped her while she was prepping another table and insisted we get cups and juice as we were almost done our food! We watched as other tables around us that were hers also had to ask 2 and 3 times for her attention. Took many requests to get our check, and finish up with the payment process. She was elderly and it seems she can't keep up with the demands of the job. She would be better suited to seating the tables, not serving them.
I will still go back there next trip, and yes will include this in our survey.

I chose this restaurant because it was walking distance from our resort, BWV, and I thought my kids would like the classic characters. I was right. We had a nice walk over the bridge. My DD7 loved seeing Minnie.
The lobby of BC was packed with people waiting for Cape May. But we only waited 5 minutes after we were able to check in, maybe 10 minutes total. I think a lot of people didn't have reservations, which I don't get.
The tables weren't crammed right next to each other. Our server was fast & friendly.
Everybody enjoyed the buffet, including my husband who hates buffets. However, DS 10, couldn't bring himself to eat the Mickey waffle. It looked too much like Mickey! I thought it was delicious. Fresh food was brought out constantly. I really enjoyed the spinach & apple salad. It was a great combo of sweet & tangy. Also, the Feta frittata was good.

Have eaten many times at the other hotel Character Breakfasts (Chef Mickey, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare), but had never tried this one. There are only 3 characters at Cape May vs 5 at Chef Mickey and 1900 park Fare, 4 at Ohana - so I probably wouldn't recommend this if it were your ONLY character meal or if you don't have your own car since it was off the beaten path, but it was fun to see GOofy, Donald and Minnie in their bathing suits.
The buffet was small compared to Chef Mickey and 1900 Park Fare but it was all fresh and yummy. Wish I would have tried the French Toast pudding, after reading others' reviews, but I don't remember seeing it.
We went there on the last day of our vacation to celebrate my DS 6th bday (6/9). It also happened to be Donald's bday. So fun to see Donald with a bday pin saying he was 78. The waitress made sure that she brought out the cupcake and card when Donald was at our table which really made it special! We got to sing Happy Birthday to both of them. We have celebrated 5 different bdays at Disney, this was one of the best character meal bdays! (Just in case you are wondering, the other one was Tusker house.)

Our particular server

Food was excellent, service, not so much. Our server was not very efficient--she seemed confused. We were on the dining plan but when we booked this event we told CSR that this would be a separate purchase, we also confirmed this at the podium upon check in. When the server brought us our bill, it was deducted from our meal plan. She changed it when we brought it to her attention BUT she gave us a lecture on how we should have told her that this should not be charged as part of the meal plan. Me thinks that she should have asked us---saving her the frustration of having to do the extra leg work.
