Pros: food, service, view, service
Cons:

Thsi is the 2nd time we have been here and once again it was great. We loved everything on the menu and we brought two other couples with us this time and they also loved it. Yes it is on the expensive side but the food is great and so is the restaurant and hotel. So to me you are paying for the entire experience and it is worth it.

We were staying at the Wilderness Lodge so it took some effort to get here but we wanted to show the other people with us the resort and have them try the food.

No one left disappointed. We sampled everything and only one of the meat sauces I didn't like. We tried all the desserts and shared a plate of them and they were all good too.

We would go back.

Pros: atmosphere
Cons:

My sister and I were excited to try this authenic African buffet. Unfortunately, we didn't care for it. There is a wide variety of food and we didn't leave hungry, it just didn't suit our tastes. Our waitress seemed hurried and was not very attentive until it came time for the check. We are glad we tried it but won't be back(too many restaurants at WDW that we enjoy). Just not our cup of tea.

Pros: fabulous variety
Cons:

Loads of choices in the buffet. Especially enjoyed all the salads & other side dishes. Service was very good and everyone found lots of items that they liked.

Pros: Very helpful regarding food allergy
Cons:

Great food...chef walked me through what I can and can't have. Everything I tried except for a couple things, I really enjoyed. Dessert was very good as well. Carrot-ginger soup was out of this world!

Pros: Interesting assortment of dishes
Cons:

We had a nice time and tried some different things (and liked them). I don't know if I'd go again, though, as there are still so many other restaurants in WDW I'd like to try. Hubby and I had anniversary buttons and he had a b'day button but we didn't wear them after the first day since he doesn't like attention called to him (and was DONE with that when attention was called to him at Ohana the first night). I suspect this place would have done something special if we'd worn them. A gal at the table next to us had a gluten allergy and I did see a chef come talk to her and take her around to show her what was safe for her to eat...also made something special for her AND came back later in the meal to check on how she was liking what she ate. That kind of service is wonderful!

Pros: Variety of foods
Cons: Noisy

We enjoyed the variety of different foods on the buffet. Liked eating here during January off season. It was not as busy as it must be during other times making it easier to enjoy buffet without too many lines.

Pros: zebra domes, zebra domes, and did I forget to mention the zebra domes.
Cons: None

My family and I had a very good meal at Boma. We started off trying the Jungle Juice which was very good, but you had to ask for it specifically if you want to try it. The buffet was excellent. The grilled meats, especially the spicy BBQ ribs were so tasty. Plus they had pulled pork and roast beef that were very, very good. I also enjoyed the salmon.

The buffet has a huge selection and though most of it was a little beyond my comfort zone I still tried several of the rice and cous cous dishes, and they didn't disappoint. There is enough of a selection for everyone to enjoy. Even if you don't like to try new things you can find enough comfort food to eat.

The desserts were exceptional. The zebra domes are worth the meal and if I wasn't afraid that they would melt I would have stuffed a half dozen or so into a bag and taken them back to the hotel. I had a good laugh with my son when he went up and came back with 5 on his plate. There is a sign that informs you the zebra domes have alcohol in them, so he is fourteen and I told him he couldn't have alcohol and ate three of them on him before I finally told him I was only joking and he could have them. We both got a good chuckle out of it thought when he realized he'd been had. This is a restaurant I would definitely try again.

Pros: fantastic food and lots of new choices to pick from
Cons: nothing really, price a little high at this point

We ate here for the first time in October during a stay at Kidani Village and then again in December for a quick holiday stay and it was really wonderful food. Everyone was really pleasant from the moment we checked in and we could get our food quickly and it was always so fresh. The price is becoming a little high even for such good food, however, that's what Disney $$'s are for, right? Will go back again at Thanksgiving time with all 12 of us.

Pros: Excellent food
Cons:

We ate here on December 23, 2010, and enjoyed it a lot. I tried some things I hadn't on previous visits and didn't regret it. The fufu in particular is very good. Even my picky seven-year-old found things he liked. It's really a unique dining experience, and worth the trouble it takes to get there or back.

Pros: Some really good food
Cons: The price is steep for the kind of food you get

I ate some really good things, but it was mainly stuff like couscous and tabouleh that I really enjoyed. While it's great that there was food like that which I enjoyed- it's a rip off at nearly $40pp. We all know Disney is overpriced, and while I hardly expect signature dining from a buffet, the higher end stuff (like meats) were lacking...so the cost seemed beyond unjustified. Dessert was also a total letdown. There were no pineapple upsidedown cheesecakes and the zebra domes didn't live up to the hype. They weren't bad- just not mind blowing.

Pros: Variety, service, overall decor
Cons:

Our ADR was at 8:10 on 12/3/10. We arrived early to get a look around the AKL resort which is beautiful, especially with the Christmas tree and decorations. We checked in 15 minutes before our ADR time and were seated within about 5 minutes. The staff was very nice, starting with the hostess that seated us. Our waiter was Martin, and he took time to explain how the buffet worked and told us about some of his favorite dishes. By the time we made it back with plates from our first trip at the buffet, our drinks had already been brought out to our table. The side dishes weren't typical, but very interesting. I liked the sweet potato dish fufu. We both tried the steak which was very flavorful and juicy, and our very favorite was the roasted chicken. The rolls were very good also. We both got several of the desserts as they were nice small servings, perfect for sampling. Our favorite was the zebra dome, but they were all very good. Our waiter brought us out a special dessert plate also since we were celebrating our 10th anniversary. It had desserts on there not included on the buffet. Lots of chocolate which my husband loved. We had a great meal and would highly recommend the restaurant to those who want to try something different, but the buffet also has plenty for those pickier eaters, like me.

Pros: food, decor
Cons: service was slow at times

This place was one of the best on our trip. Very different food, so be prepared for some differences from American food, especially the spices. We loved it. The decor is so great, very very well done. Our servers was a little slow, but the place was packed.
