Pros: ease of getting reservation
Cons: NOISY

Food was ok, not bad but not really good either. We went to this restaurant because the kids wanted to go. They loved the atmosphere but it was so loud that it was not a relaxed dining experience. The worst restaurant of our whole trip. The waitress was more concerned with getting a tip than providing service.

Pros: food was OK
Cons: NOISE LEVEL intolerable; overpriced

This was the only negative restaurant experience we had during our last Disneyworld stay. From the moment you enter, you are assaulted by REALLY LOUD NOISE. The music is cranked so high that you have to yell at your server, yell at your dining companions, and it made our dining experience unbearable.

I have to assume everyone working there will need hearing aids by the time they are 40.

Pros: atmosphere, ribs
Cons: crowded seating areas

Our party of seven dined at Planet Hollywood on Oct. 3rd. We had a great meal! I had the chicken fajatas which were excellent, my husband and sister in law raved about their ribs, my nephew is a picky eater and they were nice enough to make him an adult size chicken tender plate. My five year old son slept through his chicken tenders but loved eating them later. My eight year old had the biggest peanut butter and jelly sandwich I had ever seen! All of the desserts were good, and the key lime pie was fantastic. I tried a Gorillas in the mist cocktail and can't wait to get another next trip!!! Fun experience for kids and adults!!

Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Food & Service

We had a horrible experience at PH. The only reason we went was because of a $15 voucher Disney sent us and, we had never been and wanted to check it out. From the second we arrived, we felt like we had entered a tourist trap. The prices were extremely high, even by Disney standards. The food tasted fine overall but not worth the price. The one exception would be the kids meal. It was HORRIBLE. My DD6 ordered the spagetti ($7.99 - drink extra) and she wouldn't even eat it. Very out of character for my daughter. I tasted it and it was bad - worse than Chef Boyardee. When we asked the waiter if we could switch it for a peanut butter & jelly (also $7.99) - he made a rude remark and walked off. This is one we would NEVER go back to even if it were free. FYI - the manager did comp our kids meal due to the attitude of the waiter.

Pros: awesome atmosphere
Cons: packed in like sardines

Excellent food, it was my familys absolute favorite restaurant out of our whole 13 day trip. We actually ate here very last minute, no reservations just walked in for lunch. Waiter suggested the deep fried lasagna which I took him up on...best thing I have ever eaten. DD 12 had alfredo, just o.k., DH had fajitas, had better, DS had mac and cheese and liked it. All in all everything was good, I think they loved the atmosphere alot. Its on the top of the list next trip.

Pros: the decorations are neat
Cons: too loud, too crowded

At here August 23rd. Had adrs, waited less than 5 minutes to get in. It was neat inside but way too loud! I don't mind noisy places but you couldn't even talk to anyone! We all just kind of sat there because we couldn't hear one another. And it's way too crowded. The tables are way to close. I'm a small person and i could barely fit into my seat.
I had a chicken ceasar salad. it was good but nothing special. 3 other people had the steak and said it was good. My daughter got the peanut butter and jelly sandwich and it was huge!! She loved it!

Pros: fun drinks!
Cons: LOUD

We had late dinner reservations on August 10th but decided to head there a little early. We got seated within ten minutes of waiting. Planet Hollywood is a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was a DJ playing very LOUD music that night (Monday?!). We were seated right by him and had a hard time having a conversation. The appetizers and drinks we ordered were great! We had the Legally Blonde and Gorillas in the Mist for drinks. And shared the Blackened Shrimp, Crunch Chicken, and Texas Tostadas. Its a fun place to do just drinks and appetizers. We were glad we went!

Pros: Atmosphere & Good Food
Cons: Waiting to be seated on the Stairs

We ate here for Dinner on Aug. 5,09. I had the steak fajitas which were great and my husband had the BBQ chicken sandwich and a baked potato. We both felt the meal was good, however not outstanding. I did not like how you had to wait on the stairs to be seated, we have been to many around the US and never waited on the stairs...good atmosphere.

Pros: interesting atmosphere, big portions, good service
Cons: VERY noisy!!

My husband and I ate here on July 15, 2009 for a late night dinner, around 11pm! We were seated immediately, had great service the entire meal. He had the ribs, very tasty. I had combo fajitas, also good. We had our $15 voucher as part of our WDW package, good thing as PH is pretty pricy! But we'll be back.

Pros: food is decent tasting
Cons: selection, noise level, crowding

We ate here on Saturday evening, July 18th. My cousins arrived just prior to 7:00pm to put us on the wait list. We finally were seated close to 8:00. I expected it to be busy, so I didn't really mind that party. It was extremely crowded inside the restaurant. The tables are so close together that there is little room to walk by a table. Its a good thing we had one of those round island style booths or we'd be bumping into other diners. We were a party of 8. The noise level inside the restaurant was really unbearable. I could not even hear across the table and had to scream to BE heard. I had an alcoholic beverage, but declined to have another and declined dessert because I couldn't wait to get out of there. I asked the hostess on the way out why the music was so loud because when I'd eaten there in the past, it had not been that bad. She said it all depends on what DJ they have that day. I wouldn't risk it again. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Pros:
Cons: costly

Ate here 6-17-09. Went for lunch got right in. No wait time at all. Had a coupon so we thought we would try it. Wouldn't go again without coupon. Very expensive and nothing special. Very crowded. People next to us kept bumping us with their chairs and body parts every time they had to get up or move. Kids meals were close to $9.00 and small. I got a club sandwich don't remember actual price but it was over $10 and not at all worth it. our server was very busy and we didn't see him much had to wait for refills as he never came back we had to grab him or yell as he walked by. We did get some things from the gift shop that were not that expensive and they had a lot of sales going on.

Pros: Food
Cons: Noise slow service

We were there on June 17 and the service was horrible. We were a party of eight and it was very obvious that he knew he was getting his 18% tip and did very little to help us. We were there just under three hours and the table for four next to us turned over three times while we were there. Each time a new table came in, he smiled and went over the menu. He barely said two words to us the whole meal. One of the kids spilled his drink and when we said something, he made a face and went in the back and sent out someone else to clean it up. By the time dessert came, we were ready to just get out of there but it took almost 45 minutes for him to get us the checks, come back and get our room cards then return them to us. He told us it was a pain to do the dining plan plus charge the tip to the room. Horrible, horrible service and not worth the 18% he got. Overall the food was good so if you are a smaller party we would recommend this place.

Pros: They do take out on DDP!
Cons:

I needed a "Hail Mary" pass one night and Planet Hollywood delivered!

The story... Got engaged 6/17 at the MK fireworks. Needless to say, now fiance didn't sleep much. Then we got up early for a character breakfast. We were at Downtown Disney for about 3 hours when my fiance hit a wall at about 9pm. Obviously, she was ready for bed for the night. I KNEW that we'd be getting hungry later (after resort food court would have been closed). Since we were right by Planet Hollywood, I decided to try to get take out back to the room (we were at CBR).

Walked up and explained to the doorman I wanted to place a take-out order. He had us go right up past the main crowd in line. Got to the door upstairs and a young lady pompously told me they don't do things like take-outs. I smelled a lie and asked to see a manager. The manager, a dapper 30-something in dark horn-rimmed glasses named Bill was able to arrange it through the bar with tons of enthusiasm. The bartender helped us out (didn't catch her name) and our order was out in about 12 minutes just like she promised. She even gave us 2 cokes at the bar no charge. (Yes, I tipped her well!)

Only 2 minor things - drinks to go are childrens sized, which we dealt with just fine. The other is they charged us 2 sit-down meals, one each (fine as I was in a bit of a bind by this point - if it was available, I would have taken a table but see my other comments on ADRs under Disney Dining on this forum).

Very grateful someone at DW is able to think outside the box. We wound up being hungry later and I can't imagine how it would have shook out if not for a little help from Planet Hollywood helping me out. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Service
Cons: loud

For me this was my favorite. This was the only place that seemed to know the meaning of the word reservation. We checked in and were immadiately seated before a line of people. The steak here was WAY better than Le Ceillar. The noise was a little too loud and it was hard to have a conversation. The waiter made ordering dessert a bit confusing.Once we figured it out, the desserts were outstanding.

Pros:
Cons:

I ate at Planet Hollywood for dinner on Sat 6/6 using a voucher. I was alone but asked to be seated at a table. It was not a problem at 4:50. My meal arrived within minutes. My wonderful server stopped by several times to see how I was doing. I had a great meal.
