Once again, one of the highlights of our trip and a new family tradition. Yes, it is a goofy Hee-Haw style show, but have some sangria, whirl your napkin around your head, and have some fun. Even better, the food was great: tasty ribs and chicken and did I mention the sangria. DD9 got the spotlight for her birthday and was thrilled. It was a great evening. Cat 2 seating was on the main floor and well worth 2TS on DDP.

I have been to Disney many times over the years, but I always just thought this show would not be my cup of tea. We were there Dec 2010 when it was very, very cold, and needed something to do indoors for the evening. I should have trusted my instincts of 30 years or so. I figured it would be dumb and silly, but it far surpassed even that. It was simply awful. I spent my time kicking myself for spending what I considered a excessive amount of money on this show. This might have been appropriate when Disney first opened, but now it is just painful to watch these actors have to perform such an awful show. Be smarter than I was. Save your money. It is actually worse than you can even imagine.

We LOVED this show!!! It was the highlight of our trip! My six year old son, gut laughed through the whole show. It was fabulous! The food was wonderful! The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, beans, dessert, everything was so tasty!! And the show was so much fun! That's a show we will do again. LOVED it!

We saw HDDR for the first time on 11/18/10. We were in Category 2 seating. The show was so entertaining. It was so funny. There were parts that were corny, but it was just corny enough that you were laughing out loud. The food was really good! I had read other reviews that said not to expect much as far as the food was concerned. I thought the fried chicken was delicious, as well as the mashed potatoes, salad, corn bread and strawberry shortcake. I don't eat ribs or baked beans but my Mom does and she said it was really good. Overall the whole experience was excellent. I don't think you necessarily need category 1 or 2 seating. It really looked like no matter where you were sitting you could see the show. The bus depot, and getting to the actual pioneer hall was a little confusing. HIGHLY recommend seeing HDDR. No matter what age, I promise you won't be disappointed!
