Saw one review about transportation. You need to take the ferry from Magic kingdom to the Campground. Home you can either take a bus or ferry; or Ferry to contemporary and monorail to TTC or back to Magic Kingdom. It does take at least 45 min. travel time. And they start ON TIME!! Food was good. Best iced tea I have found!

DH and I did this show as kids. Decided to take our kids (DD 5 &3) to see if it was as fun as we remember. Boy, were we happy we did it. Not only is the show itself very funny, the food was pretty good. DH5 ate 3 pieces of "chicken on the bone" as she calls it. Our waiter brought DD3 PB&J to go with the loaf of cornbread she ate. The potatoes were very good. Chicken and Ribs were tasty also. Only thing I didn't try were the beans, but DH said they were good. The show was great, very funny and loved how they include the audience. Our waiter was great. He placed another beer down right as I was finishing off my other one. Very attentive and playful with the kids. Will be back in October with a big family trip that is planned.

I would love to give this show a 10 & the rest of the experience a 2.
Ridiculous - I told the Disney Dining reservation gal I had never been to this show/resort. She just told me I just go to the resort... No mention of how hard it is to get there!!!!!! We wasted so much time getting lost to get there. And then getting "home" you are stuck commuting from one bus to a park then one bus to your resort. Which was not fun after 9pm with 3 sleeping children. If I would have known I would have paid for a cab direct rather than the headache & chaos we encountered.
It took so much time to commute from the confusion we were too late for pony rides & pictures. (mind you, we left expecting to be an hour early)
The show was great. However I would have hated Category 3 seating in the upper level. We had great seats in Cat.2.
Food was fine. Some items were really good (dessert).
Oh... and the bathroom is outside of the restaurant... but it was large & clean.
The best part is the fun the kids had & the corny but hilarious show.
I would go again, but with a different schedule & transportation.

After many trips to Disney we finally decided to use two sit down meals to see the Hoop Dee Doo. Getting to Pioneer Hall was quite a task, and we even had a rental car!!! We called ahead to get directions, and find out whether we needed at any point to take a bus and the woman we spoke with was clueless and told us we could "drive right up to the hall and park out front!!!" Not true!!! Luckily we left early enough that we had time to park in the lot, and walk to the bus stop to catch a ride to the hall. There were no signs or directions any where so we had to actually ask one of the bus drivers how we got there. Make sure you really plan ahead for this one! I cannot imagine how long it would take if you were coming from another resort using Disney transportation only! Upon our arrival to the hall, check-in was chaotic..but we got in our line and were seated fairly quickly. Our seats, though on the balcony and right in front of the railing made us feel like second class citizens. Unless you got the seat closest to the rail (which of course we gave to the children) you had to keep leaning over to see what was going on if the show was taking place on the floor and not on the stage. A lot of the show takes place off the stage, and the performers spread out through the downstairs area, which made our kids feel left out. At one point a performer would come upstairs, but it was definitely not as good as being part of the downstairs action. I would not go again if I had to sit upstairs, especially if you think you might need to go to the bathroom with a child. It is like three floors down and then out to get to it! The kids loved the show and the performers were incredible though we were really disappointed with the meal. The salad and corn bread were delicious, and the mashed potatoes were quite good too. We didn't care for the beans, and the corn was just like any other corn. The rib-eaters in our group said they were delicious. My big complaint was the bucket of chicken. Ours was overflowing with thighs, no breast the first go around, and only one leg for six people!!! Of course one child eats legs only, one eats white meat only, so we had two unsatisfied children. We had to ask for a second bucket..I am not sure if they would have given us a bucket of only breasts and legs had we asked, but if I went again I might try this! We had to remind our waiter to get us a side of mac n' cheese, which he seemed a bit put out by. The strawberry shortcake was the best part of the meal, and we wished we could have had more! Our server did not offer it, so we didn't ask. I am glad we finally went to this show, but I would not rush back, especially for two sit-down meals!

We love this show! We went on Valentines Day, Feb. 14, 2012, and this was our second time. My husband and daughter and I all love the show and the food. This is especially my daughter's favorite. The food is amazing and the show is so funny. We will go back!

What a great way to celebrate our 25th Anniversary trip to the World! We had great seats (Category 1) and we were able to have some interaction with the performers. Our server could not have been nicer or more attentive. The food was basic down-home comfort food and except for some pretty watery mashed potatoes, we enjoyed everything that was served. I particularly liked the cornbread – very moist and tasty. They served way more food than we could eat, but we did notice several tables around us getting refills of both the ribs and chicken.
During the evening the performers came into the audience and recognized the folks celebrating birthdays, engagements, anniversaries and other special occasions. My husband and I were invited to dance while they sang “Let Me Call You Sweetheart”. It was wonderful.
It was also wonderful to see how children really enjoyed the show. I’m sure after long days at the parks or at the pool many of the little ones were tired but honestly they all seemed to be having a terrific time.
Side note: We walked from our room at the Wilderness Lodge to Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness. It was dark and I was a little unsettled, but it’s really a short distance and lots of fun. But probably better to do when it’s not a dark winter night…..
All in all, a magical evening!

Yes it's a bit hokey. Yes, it's a great time. My family usually goes to the 'Revue' on our first night at Disney. We have flown in and don't see the sense of wasting a park ticket day just so we can say we went to a park. Instead we do a little swimming at the hotel, then maybe get on the monorail and check out the hotels. We will then meander over and have our supper at the 'Revue' to start our true Disney Experience. What a great time and great food. The kids just have a fantastic time and the adults laugh right along side of them. After all, are you here for yourself or did you bring the kids along to have a great time too? Yes, it's a blast for the kids! The show/meal gets over after dark and you head back to your hotel. Crash out for the night and begin your great Disney bright and early the next morning instead of all worn out because you were trying to get the most bang for your money by spending as much time in the park as possible the night before. Trust me on this one, I've been there before myself.

We have eaten here twice and love the silly jokes, singing, and food. We especially love when Sixbits is played by Ben. He had come to our table and gave my kids mini playdohs and we found out he was from the same small town area in Pa as us. The second time we went there we wanted to make sure he would be working that night so after some phone calls I ended up connected to the green room and he was in the background telling the lady on the phone his schedule so we could make our reservations match. We again were able to talk to him during the show and my kids thought that was so cool! He is hilarious!!!
The chicken and cornbread are yummy too!

What a fun night! We went to the HDDR on January 3, 2012. The food was very good, nothing fancy, but well done comfort food like fried chicken, ribs, beans, corn and potatoes. The entertainment was hilarious for our tween, teens, and Mom and Dad. We were all well fed and well entertained.

We loved the Hoop-dee-doo! The entertainment was fun, silly and old fashioned. Perfect for us! My husband and our 2 girls (4 & 2.5) laughed their heads off.
The food was great. Very "down-home". If you like Cracker Barrel, you will enjoy this. My husband ate almost the entire bucket of chicken himself. The cornbread was especially yummy. The shortcake was quite good as well.
We had Category 1 seating and were one row back from the front. I felt it was worth it to sit that close. We had some interaction from the performers which our girls loved.
We had a great time here and would definitely go again.
