If you like theatre, this is for you!
If your family doesn't like performances or theater shows, you will probably be underwhelmed.
The environment is extremely immersive, it feels authentic and it is very clean. I would recommend setting upstairs not because of the price reduction, but because you have more room and it is more quiet. Downstairs is closer quarters and a much louder dining experience. Sitting upstairs allows you to Have a great view but also feel like you are having a private dinner.
Our family loved the food and thought every single dish was very flavorful, warm and delicious! I have seen this commented in other reviews and I have to agree that the service was probably the worst we have ever had at a Disney resort. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism of our waitress and she literally told me I was not allowed to have three drinks because she thought our table would be too crowded. I had to literally demand that I be allowed to have three drink glasses at the table. It was very odd and she was very unpleasant. She was not attentive either. I hope this was a rare occurrence, and outside of the cast member waitress, the experience was incredible! The show was funny, well done, and really cute! I think the price match the food quality and the experience!
Sidenote that definitely did not take away from the experience, but the white and the red sangria was terrible and I would not recommend it.

Pros:

Environment is immerse The show is funny and enjoyable Food quality is great and it is all you care to enjoy!

Cons:

Sangria is not good Can be loud for some but it is much better sitting up stairs Need to take the bus from the main building to get to the restaurant location (cannot drive directly there)

We attended on Dec 9,2023. As usual, the food is a 7/10, free beer/wine is an added bonus, the show is corny but very enjoyable. Having taxes and tips included in the price is an added bonus. Definitely worth attending T least once

Pros:

The Christmas decorations and show theming is an added bonus while attending in Dec

Cons:

Ribs were a bit tough

A bucket list item but mainly just a one and done sort of deal. Food was hit or miss and often times my party felt ignored by our server due to how many tables he had to serve (which we are certain was out of his control). Show was cute- the actors were funny but some jokes were outdated and could use a rewrite.

Pros:

The cornbread was the star of the dinner.

Cons:

The ribs were inedible- almost rubbery tasting. The food when it first comes out is not hot cause it sits around.

There's so much wonderful food and amazing free entertainment in WDW it's hard to understand why anyone is choosing to waste time and money on this. Firstly the show itself is very well performed but it's horribly dated and needs a re-write. Feels like they've been making those jokes since the 1970s. Then there's the very average stodgy food which could be cold when it gets to you and will never get refilled because your poor stressed server is too busy for that and has stopped caring by the 3rd sitting of the night. It's a very loud experience with audience participation and music in a relatively small hall. And speaking of small, seats are packed in shoulder to shoulder. Forthe money charged it's also just not good value and Disney need to lift their game here. Just Hoop de Don't.

Pros:

Actors do the best they can

Cons:

Very crowded and loud. Don't expect any actual refills of anything. Stressed servers, below average food and a show that badly needs an update.

The show was great as always.

Pros:

Show was upbeat and kept you entertained the whole time.

Cons:

We have been to Hoop Dee Doo many times and we were disappointed in the food. It is all you care to eat, however when we asked for a salad refill, the waitress said I\\'ll get that for you and we never saw it. We never go a refill on anything that we asked for. There were 4 of us and the amount of sides we had to begin with was enough for 2 people. As much as we enjoyed the show, I don\\'t know if I would give it another try after our recent experience.

THIS IS A MUST! I’ve only been to Walt Disney World once without going here & it felt like something was missing. Hoop Dee Doo needs to be a part of every trip I take & I recommend you try it to! The food is pretty good. It’s all you can eat, but also all you can drink (beer, wine & sangria). The servers are the best and even become part of the dinner show. And that dinner show is the real highlight! The actors on stage are not only talented, but also hilarious! There’s audience participation & it’s fun for the whole family. My most recent visit was for my parent’s 37th Anniversary and they got to dance with a spotlight on them. Something we’ll all remember forever

Pros:

Hilarious dinner show, great servers, so much fun for everyone

Cons:

None!

One of the best experiences I've had in the Disney Parks! I recommend it to everyone going to Disneyworld. The food is plentiful and delicious across the board. The strawberry shortcake at the end is a highlight, though how they expect you to have room in your stomach for it is beyond me! The show is funny, engaging, entertaining, and just the right amount of interactive.

Pros:

Food, show, fun for everyone.

Cons:

It's a long journey to get there and back.
