I ate here with a group of 4 moms and and 6 teens and we all enjoyed our meals. The kids were a bit taken aback by some of the dishes; but once tried, they were very happy. Our waiter was very patient and allowed the teens to make substitutions if desired.

We really liked this place. The food was good. We loved the belly dancer & music being performed. The server was wonderful! She noticed my husband heavily peppering his meal. She offered him hot sauce. It was fantastic! She then put some in a cup with foil over it for us to take with us & gave us the recipe.

Our favorite at Epcot! We were there for a recent trip and had dinner one night and lunch another day. The goat cheese appetizer is the best and a must try! (That's why we had to go back for more). The beef shish kabobs are our favorite entree and if you enjoy coffee after a meal the coffee is excellent!

Wait time despite reservation

We had a large group (13 adults) for dinner in late November. We had reservations for 7:55 on a Friday night. We did not get seated until around 8:20. This impacted our ability to use Extra Magic Hours effectively.
I enjoyed the cheese appetizer and trialed the Moroccan wine. I had the chicken couscous. The veggies seemed a bit overdone. Stick with the Shish kabobs. My sis had this and it was yummy. Others who had the lamb really liked it. Serving sizes were pretty big.
Bellydancing and music make it a lively dining experience. Kids joined in the dancing which was cute.
It is worth a visit!
We celebrated a birthday and the wait staff sang "Happy Birthday" in Arabic and put a fez on the birthday celebrant. It was fun!

If you are not one to experiment with different cuisine, then this eating experience might not be a choice for you. My sister and I at here on November 24. While I will try anything once, I was a little nervous as to whether or not she would like eating here but much to my surprise, she really enjoyed the whole experience. She had the Lemon Chicken which she said was so tender and flavorful. I had the Roast Lamb Meshoui that was excellent, meat was so tender and seasoned perfectly. I would definitely eat here again.

We dine here every year and most recently November 16, 2012. Consistently great food, fabulous atmosphere with the live music and bellydancers, and somewhat low prices compared to other Epcot restaurants. Beef rolls are excellent, even though they sound disgusting. We love them! Order a lunch special and you can split the appetizer and dessert, then just order one other entree. It works well for two people. We always get the chicken kabob special and a beef kabob lunch. Delicious!

This was our only disappointing meal at Disney. After having two people recommend it to us, we decided to give it a try. The restaurant, itself, is breathtaking and the music and show (belly dancer) was nice. It was really hard to hear though.
The food looked like it should be really flavorful, but there was none. The Roast Lamb Meshoui didn't have any lamb taste, more of beef and the only other flavor on there was the rice. Husband had the Lemon Chicken which he didn't enjoy. Desserts weren't that great. The pastries were extremely dry and the mint ice cream was regular mint chip. We were kind of sad this was our last dining experience.
I will praise the iced mint tea. It is great.

Dark restaurant, food allergy awareness, slow service, flavorless food

We tried Restaurant of Marrakesh for the first time during our last trip and were not exactly blown away. The restaurant has no windows so it is very dark and off putting on the interior. We enjoyed the belly dancing and liked the music, but it would be nice if it lasted just a little bit longer. The food was a bit of a miss for us as well. I like cous cous a lot so I thought I would try the vegetable cous cous with the appetizer trio which included the bastilla, a salad, and another item I cannot recall. I am lactose intolerant, and the waiter seemed a little challenged by this fact. He asked many times what lactose was in and what I would like left out during the preparation of our meal. Also during the middle of our meal our waiter changed to a new one who had to ask all over again about my food allergy and seemed very challenged by the idea of lactose intolerance. They made a huge deal out of the fact that the cous cous and chicken bastille were made FROM SCRATCH without butter and I appreciated that, however upon arriving our food was cold and the salad had CHEESE in it. The chicken bastille was flavorful, but the savory food is covered with powdered sugar, so the sweet/savory-ness of the dish is a little odd. The vegetable cous cous was also overcooked with limp vegetables and little actual flavor. Not sure if I would eat here again. If I did I would most likely order a kabob as that seems to be a safe bet.

This place has great food, excellent service, and it is beautiful.
We were a party of 10. Our check was about $600. The only thing that bothered me was that one of the people in our party was handicapped and the battery of her wheelchair was running low. We asked if she could plug in her wheelchair and they refused. What kind of people would refuse such request? Other places we went to during the same vacation had no problem with our request.

This restaurant is really well themed. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken and vegetable kebabs. They were served with an orange couscous that had almonds and raisins and an olive salad. The kababs had a very flavorful sauce on top, and when I asked about it, my waiter described how he makes it at home for his kebabs.
The service here was really great. The staff was happy to explain things and to make recommendations. I for one am glad that the music and entertainment is not continuous. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't want to listen to it throughout an entire meal.
If the food is not completely, 100% authentic Moroccan, I wouldn't know. I am more concerned about paying good money for a delicious meal -- and I certainly got that here!

My family of 3 adults and three kids (15, 12, 12)ate here the first week in August. We all loved it. The kids loved the chicken and beef kabobs as well as the lamb. All were very tender. I had the combination platter. The chicken bastilla was wonderful!! The entertainment was really good. The belly dancer called my daughters as well as other girls on the floor to be part of the show. They loved this! The waiter was very friendly and attentive. They were offering a chicken kabob lunch special that included an appetizer, entree, and dessert for a lower price than many of the other entrees. The coffee there is fantastic too!

We have been to WDW several times and have never tried this place. We decided to try it this year. We really enjoyed it. The kids are picky eaters, but I thought they would enjoy the chicken kabobs and they did. They did not like the sweet fruit cousous, but I think they would have liked it without the fruit. I will order it that way next time. I had shish kabab and really enjoyed it. We ordered baklavas and Bastilla for dessert. Both were very good. Belly dancer and music were entertaining. We will be back and will recommend to friends.

We love this restaurant and try to eat here every time we visit Disney (4 or 5 times a year). The food is delicious. My husband and younger son rave about the lamb, which is meltingly tender. I love the couscous and the shish kebob. My older son adores the brewats and bastillas. My husband and I tried to goat cheese appetizer this time and I was pleasantly surprised. Delicious! And you really should try the mint tea-- unusual and refreshing.
I love that this restaurant is never crowded and it's easy to walk up if you don't have a reservation. It always feels ten degrees cooler here than anywhere else in the park, very welcome on hot Florida afternoons. The wait staff is marvelous and very professional. The setting is beautiful.
The musicians are entertaining and we love the belly dancer, especially when she invites little girls to dance with her. Wish they entertained for longer periods, but that's nitpicking.

My wife and I just came back from 5 days at Disney and we ate at 5 of the restaurants in Epcot. This was our second favorite. The service was wonderful and we really enjoyed our food. My wife had the Mogador Fish Tagine (trust me when I say that she is not the typical adventurous type to try new food) and I had the Chicken Couscous. Her fish was excellent and they even sent us the recipe it was so flavorful. We had Moroccan wine and they let us taste it before we ordered an entire glass. We took our leftovers with us and they wrote our names in their native language which was pretty neat. Our server was excellent to and very attentive. We arrived right before the entertainment started so we enjoyed our wine while watching and listening.
Only negative part was that the furniture was a little worn but if more people ate here, I'm sure Disney would fix that. I highly recommend it and this is the only reason I didn't give it a perfect score. Plus as DVC members we got 20% off for dinner.

THIS IS ONE OF THE LAST EPCOT RESTAURANTS THAT I HAVE TRIED. I'M AN AP HOLDER AND HAVE EATEN AT EVERY PLACE IN EPCOT. THIS TRIP I TRIED MOROCCO AND THIS FACILITY. FIRST I NOTICED THAT THE BOOTHS WERE RIPPED AND VERY VERY WORN. THE FOOD WAS NOTHING SPECIAL AND KIND OF THE EXPENSIVE SIDE FOR WHAT YOU RECEIVED. I HAD THE Marrakesh Feast FOR 42.00. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED FOR THE MONEY I PAID. THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS ABOUT 3 SONGS FOR THE 45 MINS I WAS AND IT SEEMS VERY POSSIBLE THAT YOU COULD MISS IT IF YOU DIDN'T GET THAT AT THE RIGHT TIME. THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT LIVE UP THE DISNEY STANDARD.
