We have eaten at Alfredos many times since it opened and we had a delightful experience. Our original table was right by the entrance but when we talked to the waiter we were moved to another area after only a 5 minutes and they were very nice about it.
We have experienced poor service on some past visits but our waiter this time was very friendly and attentive. All of the food was very good but once again the fetuccini was the star. I could not finish it all and only wished I could have taken the left overs back with me, but I still had another few hours in the park in 94 degree heat.
I'm sorry that they are leaving but will be interested to see what the new owners replace it with.

This is one place I shall never return to and I have never ever said that about any dining place at Disneyworld so it kind of hurts me to say this but I feel people should be warned!
Although I, like many others, disagree with the service slipping when you are on the DDP, I can assure you, at this place it is no better even when you are paying! Even with a reservation made, we waited nearing 30 minutes for a table and got stuck with a waiter who was rude, lazy and seemed to have this "I am better than all you lot" vibe going around the room. It was not pleasant. After taking our order we all got our meals brought to us at different times so it was more like eating alone than on a nice family meal out. The food well, was nothing to brag about - its overpriced and tastes more like "boil a bag" food than anything else. I certainly do not expect to travel thousands of miles for a microwave dinner!! It was a shame really, my family being great lovers of Italian food which they certainly put to shame.
I hate to say it but avoid this place, book somewhere else. It is not family friendly...it verges on being not human friendly in all honesty. I really don't like disliking something in Disney this much, especially since the rest of Italy at the World Showcase is such a delight but this is not a place worth wasting your money, or you DDP, on.

My wife, I, and two kids (12 and 8) ate here on Wednesday, August 15. The last time my wife and I ate here was when we were dating and had to use the system where the only way to make EPCOT dining reservations (still all caps back then) was to talk to a reservations person via TV from Future World. It wasn't very memorable then and we had stayed away from it since due to lackluster reviews. For this trip we ended up there on the last night of our 10 night stay mostly because it was one of the few places where we could get reservations, and even then we had to take a 5:00 time.
Well, I am really glad that we tried it again. Our waiter was extremely nice and attentive, even if the courses did tend to come out rather quickly. I had the pasta sampler (Trittico di Pasta), which tonight was the Lasagna, Fettucini, and Ziti. I notice that these are not the same three pastas on the menu on this site, so they must change them periodically. All three were very good. The Lasagna is in the style that I remember from travelling in Europe, where the sauce is more creamy and the pasta softer. The Fettucini was amazing. Sometimes Fettucini Alfredo can be a little rich for me if the sauce is overdone; this was less saucy and for my tastes, exactly right.
We would definitely come back, if not for it closing at the end of the month. Ciao, Alfredo! I'm glad we had one more time to visit.

We had one more DDP sit down credit and made this reservation last minute- so I wasn't able to research it before going. The first "turn off" was that our waiter (very hard to understand) asked if we were part of the DDP- and then he was kind of put off from there! On a very hot day (heat index of 115) my DD downed her milk quickly- so I asked for another (as when my ice tea was down, I'd get a refill)- he acted like it was a crime for her to have more after I even offered to pay for it (which I never had to). At the conclusion of our order (I had the shrimp ceasar salad- my DD the kids spaghetti without sauce and to be buttered), a non DDP family sat next to us. All attention seemed to turn to their table! My DD's spaghetti came and never was buttered so I tried to get his attention, but by the time he eventually came- she was bored and done with her meal. We eventually got desert and was given our bill AFTER the non DDP family left, even though we were there long before them!
I love Italian food (the rolls with oil dip were the only positive aspects of the meal) but would not go back here.

We had an early dinner here and the restaurant was only half full. They were very attentive and never let our glasses get empty. The food was great! I ordered the Fettucini which was divine and the cannoli for dessert. Simply delicious! I am very sad that this restaurant will be going away soon. Take advantage of it while you can!

Upon arriving we of course had a reservation. (a reservation will be needed for any restaurant in the world showcase) We were seated immediately and our waiter attended us quickly. The place was packed but he was still very attentive and personable. We had the calamari appetizer, which was kinda standard. For the main course we had the vitello and the fettucini alfredo. The veal was delicious and the fettuhini was probably some of the best Ive had!!
Definately make room for some of the delicious itallain deserts!!The canoli and tiramisu was awesome!! But of course you cant miss out on the expresso and sambuca!
It was an expensive dinner--but well worth it!

We were very disappointed with this restaurant. Our waitress did not speak English very well and we ended up paying money out of our pocket even though we had the Disney dining plan. She smiled alot, but we were not able to communicate with her. The bread was dry and the food was not very good. We will not return to this restaurant, nor would we recommend it to anyone else.

I recently ate at this restaurant with my family of 5 on July 17, 2007 at 8:45pm. Although the restaurant looked very nice and the service was great, the food was dissapointing. I was not exactly expecting authentic Italian food, but based on the excellent food found throughout Disney World, this was sub-par. It wasn't terrible, but my vodka-shrimp pasta was dry and stuck together, and our antipasto appetizer was sparse. Basically the food was bland and not very authentic. It was still an enjoyable experience, but personally I would never go back.

My Alfredo was a little dry (I like the alfredo sauce to be more saucy) but it was still quite yummy, the tomato, basil, mozzerella, olive appetizer was DELICIOUS and the service was wonderful. Also the guitar player was fantastic and so sweet!

We LOVED this restaurant!!!! My hubby & are are huge Italian food fans, and this was unbelievable. I've read some of the bad reviews, but we thought the Fettucini Alfredo was fantastic. Granted, we're from Texas, and may not be accustomed to some of the finer Italian restaurants of the world, but we know good pasta when we taste it!
Our 6 yr old loved her spaghetti, and my 4 yr old laid his head down on the table & slept through the entire meal (although this was one of the noisiest restaurants we visited.)
We had no idea that Alfredo's was closing, until I came in to post this review. We definitely would've made a 2nd reservation during our stay if we'd known that. We ate at Tony's (MK) last summer, and it didn't compare to this meal. Try your best to eat here before they close!

My husband & I always loved Alfredo's. We would eat there more than once during each vist to WDW. We loved it so much, that in the "old days" we would go over to EPCOT & wait in line to talk to the reservation person on the tv screen & book our time, then go to another park for the day & happily come back to EPCOT just to eat at Alfredo's. Our last few trips, we have been less impressed, but come back because it is a special place for us. I do feel sad that it is closing because of all the happy times we had there. I hope the new Italian restorante is great & we will have a new love to look forward to on our future trips. Best wishes to the new restorante!

Our family of 8 ate here on Thurs June 29 with an ADR for 7:00. We arrived at 6pm and were seated almost immediately at one of the best tables in the house - the center of the main dining room.
Our waiter was polite and did not push the alcohol as much as servers in years past have which we appreciated. WE were all on the DDP so the meal was easy to order. I was able to order an adult portion of the child's spaghetti and meatballs which was perfect. The children loved the chick. noodle soup and most othere adults ordered the salad, I had the pasta fagiole and my DH had the tomote and mozzarella plate. All starters were perfect and this time the bread was much softer than in years past - perfect! Most adults ordered the lasagne exect DH who ordered some meat dish (lamb or veal or chicken - I can't remember but I do remember that he practically LICKED the plate clean). desserts chosen were tiramisu, cannoli and choc. cake, all could not be better.
In years past, we have left this rest. feeling like we weren't sure we really wanted to eat here again, but the old Alfredo's that we have loved for 20 years is BACK - all to late. We took lost of pictures as leaving was like saying goodbye to a treasured friend!

As far as the service and the food..I have only one thing to say....OMG!!!!
It was amazing. we were a table of 6...2 adult and 3 young adults. everything was great. as full as we were we still found room for desert.
It was my first time having truffle (even if it was buried in my pasta) yummy...i'll diet tomorrow.

My family and I ate here on June 30. It was excellent. The food was hot, gorgeous, and satisfying. The service was also excellent. This has to be one of the biggest Epcot restaurants, so it looks a little crowded- but we throroughly enjoyed our meal.

We are so sad this place is going out of business! it is our favorite place to eat in WDW. We love the fetucinni, the salad, the lasagna, the dessert cannolis (sp?), and the hot chocolate. We loved it so much, we ate there twice on our trip. If you can, eat there before they leave!
