Pros: Chicken teriyaki, quiet
Cons: Limited seating

A good option when you are looking to escape the crowds. Nice landscaping near the Yakitori House (on a hill, there are even some outdoor tables to enjoy it). I never have a huge appetite so enjoy ordering off the kid's menu...their chicken teriyaki is really good and I can never finish it! The vegetables that are served with it are pretty bland, but still good if you're looking for a healthier option than french fries or chips. If you are like me and get full somewhat easily, definitely go with the kid's meal.

Were stuck in the Yakitori House during a sudden downpour for about an hour, but it was actually really nice and we enjoyed the quiet while waiting for the rain to clear. I could imagine this being pretty crazy during a busy season, like summer or Christmas, as there aren't very many tables in the restaurant.

Pros: air conditioned on a hot day
Cons: combo platter

My Husband and I ate there on September 28th. We both got the combo platter. It had one piece of Tempura shrimp. The beef was full of fat and the chicken was so so. We enjoy eating in Epcot and found this to be a great disappointment.

Pros: great food for the price
Cons: lack of seating!

We ate on 9/25 for lunch. We had the combo platter, which was beef, chicken and rice with a piece of tempura shrimp. Pleasantly surprised. Kids had chicken teriyaki. Wish there was more seating esp on hot days. Would recommend for a quick service if in the world.

Pros: Quick service, decent food
Cons:

I grabbed a quick lunch here on Sept. 18. I had the combination plate which had chicken, beef, one shrimp tempura and rice. There were no vegetables, which I thought was strange since I don't think that was very authentic.
The chicken was quite tasty but similar to bourbon chicken from the mall (which I secretly like). The shrimp tempura was light and crispy and probably the best thing on the plate. The beef was really strange, though. I was surprised to see that it was shaved steak like you would get in a sub sandwich. The flavor was actually quite good but since the meat was at least 30% fat (again, not very Japanese-ey) I really couln't eat much of it. Next time I would stick with the chicken or the shrimp. Not a bad meal but not a great one either.

Pros: Delicious food in a nice setting, fair prices
Cons: Not enough indoor seating , only one kids item on menu

Nice food at a reasonable (for Disney) price. Great soup and pretty-good spicy tuna roll. Wife liked her combo platter. Very good fresh unsweet iced green tea : Only place I saw that at Disney. Even China's "Joy of Tea" had no unsweet iced teas.

Pros: Their Teriyaki chicken!
Cons: The restaurant is a bit small.

My dad and I both love the Yakitori House. Their Chicken Teriyaki is wonderful.

Pros: Food quality
Cons: Seating

I stopped for lunch and got the Shogun special. There was no seating, so I met my husband at the American pavilion where the air conditioning was awesome.

I was really surprised at how good this "luncheon special" was. It was hot, and the chicken was moist and the sukiyaki (never had before) was very tasty.
I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to have lunch here again.

Pros: Good tasting food, priced reasonably.
Cons: Small portions of food.

We ate at the Yakitori House for lunch on 30 July 2009. This was our first time dining there. We had four chicken/ rice meals and one ginger chicken salad. We all enjoyed the meals; we thought it was quite tasty. The only negative comment is the small portions of food. The meals are served in small paper, containers, which were very flimsy. The inside seating area was slightly small with benches to eat at. We didn’t have to wait to find a seat. On busier times it would have been harder to find seating. The outside of the building was very attractive, and reflected the Japanese theme. The service was fairly fast; our meals were ready within 5 minutes. The counter service ladies were also very friendly. On the way out I found a WDW ticket, so we turned it into the counter service ladies. Hopefully it made its way back to the owner.

Pros: Service
Cons: Seating

We eat Japanese food often and found the food was very good and was ready very quickly. The seating was long tables with benches, so it was not as easy to get in and out of your seat.

Pros: Nice Location, good food
Cons: none

After many stops at Lotus Blossom, we decided to go to Yakitori for a light meal. We enjoy the parks to the point we do not waste time at sit down restuarants and reserve that for after the park closes. We split a curry dish that was fabulous. Nice ambiance for a counter service place. Quiet. A keeper for me.

Pros: Wonderful soup; great location
Cons: Limited seating space

I had dinner here on 06/16 with my 17-year old daughter and her friend. It was a very cool, rainy evening that we dashed in here - somewhat unplanned - to escape the rain. We decided to stay and eat when a table opened up and all three of us had the WONDERFUL soba noodle soup. It was a huge bowl, piping hot, with two large tempura shrimp. Very filling and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Food, Atmosphere
Cons: Portions

We had an early dinner here one night, around 4:30 PM. We ordered one combination platter with beef, chicken/rice, and shrimp tempura. We also ordered a California Roll. The food was very good, we were pleasantly surprised. However the portions were small and we weren't quite full when we left. Also, we asked for the largest size drink possible (on the dining plan and very thirsty) and they said we could only get a small. Every other counter service gave us a large, we just found this weird.

Perhaps due to the time of day, it was almost empty in here, and we enjoyed a nice quiet meal. Good food.

Pros: Outstanding food, best QS in Epcot
Cons: Not a lot of indoor seating

This was my favorite meal of the trip. Husband ordered the shogun combo, and I had the tempura shrimp udon. He loved the beef in the combo, and my udon noodles were perfect. They were soft but not mushy, and I gobbled it down. I am blown away at how delicious my meal was, and it didn't taste like shopping mall Japanese food. I didn't have to wait for my order at all, and we were fortunate enough to find an indoor table - it wasn't overly busy at dinner. If you want a cheaper alternative to Tokyo dining, eat here.

Pros: Food wasn't bad.
Cons: Very slow and crowded.

I ordered here alone as my wife was saving our spot to watch the fireworks and she doesn't like Japanese. I had the Shogun combination. It was a good amount of each item and tasted good for counter service, and I had a green tea on the side. And they gave me a pre-wrapped Mrs. Fields cookie as dessert.

I didn't get to enjoy the ambiance as the place was so crowded it was barely enough room to stand in. I stood in line for about 10 minutes then waited another 10 or more for my food. To be honest, I waited longer here for service then I did at almost any of the sit down restaurants.

Pros: value, quiet location with indoor/outdoor dining
Cons: queue area narrow and crowded

We ate here on February 6th. I had the Japanese Curry which was spicy but not hot, would definitely order this again. DH and DS had Teriyaki Chicken, which they both said was tasty. The prices were reasonable, approx $7-8 per entree. The best part about this restaurant is the outdoor seating area, which is in a quiet garden area off the beaten path, with a waterfall to enhance your relaxation.
