 We ate at the Cafe by chance. We were scheduled to go to the Polynesian but our reservations were canceled due to the weather (too cold). What a great night! Our server, Donald was fabulous! My husband had the mussels (36!) as his appetizer and the tuna for his meal. I had strawberry salad and the salmon...WONDERFUL! Our dessert was equally as delicious, he had a key lime tart, and I had the chocolate fondue. We had breakfast here during a previous stay, but never considered it for dinner. We were disappointed with the cancellation with our original pick but the service and food made up for it.

 This was our second time using the DDP. We enjoy it because we do a character breakfast for the kids and usually a 2 credit dinner. There are a lot of snacks, but the kids would use a snack option around lunch time. We used our extra snack credits to bring home gifts for the kids friends. It is nice to be able to eat at expensive places and it be prepaid. After we returned home we added up all our recipts and we saved $700 using the plan.

 This was our first time eating at the Yachtsman, and it will not be the last! The food was delicious, my husband had the Porterhouse, I had a filet, and both of our kids had steak skewers. Our son was having some mouth issues and couldn't chew. I was cutting his food in tiny pieces so he could swallow them, when our waitress came over and said that she would cut his food so that I could enjoy my food. The steaks were perfect. We used the deluxe plan and it was worth the 2 credits! The kids really enjoyed their Mickey puzzle dessert too!

 This was our second stay at GF, and we were so much more impressed this time. Our last stay we had some "issues" but they more than made up for it this time.
As soon as we arrived, the bell service took our bags the second we stepped out of our car. We walked right up to the check in area, and were greeted with a smile. It wasn't our kids first time, and we were not celebrating anything but they gave each of the kids a pin along with coloring pages and crayons. We had a lost luggage bag at the airport, and once the staff found out...they were on the case! A Disney staffer at the airport went to our airlines office and assisted them. We had our bag in no time, and heard from GF first that the suitcase was found. (YAY since it contained my childrens clothing and mine) An hour later the airline called to tell us it was found!
Rooms were great and we love the turn down service. Our son became sick on our first night there and they didn't have medicine for him at the Sandy Cove so they went and got me the items that I requested at a local pharmacy! Luckily he was still able to enjoy our vacation and everytime the staff saw us they asked about him!
This was by far the BEST trip that we have had to Disney! We were hesitant to book at GF because of our past experience, but are so glad that we decided to go back. Can't wait to visit again Smile
