Last Review Posted Chef Mickey's Breakfast
We took my daughter to Chef Mickeys on the morning of her 5th birthday. She was so excited. We were staying at the Grand Floridian and it should have taken us just minutes to get to the Contemporary, but the monorail was down, so we had to wait for the ferry and walk over to the hotel. It was a long walk and very hot for October 8th. We were about 30mins late for our reservation but the hostess was so accommodating and told us it wasn't a problem. She handed us a pager, and while we were having our picture taken with the Mickey statue, it went off.

We the first ones seated in our area so the hostess gave us the choice of tables. We took one right in the middle. We thought the buffet was very good, lots to choose from and everything was fresh, hot and delicious.

We were almost done with breakfast, just getting reheats on coffee and my daughter was finishing her bday cupcake before we even saw any of the characters. Once they arrived it was like a fullout onslaught...........the whole room came alive with laughter and singing and dancing. All the characters made a fuss over the fact it was my daughters bday and the waitress got the room to sing to her while Minnie Mouse held her hand. It was so awesome and she was so happy.

I had PhotoPass Plus, so I was handed the photos my family took at the entrance, but to be honest, $30 is a lot to ask people to pay for these pix. I know a lot of people were leaving without them.

Overall, a great way to start the day for a very happy 5 year old. I would definitely recommend Chef Mickeys. Thankfully the monorail was fixed by the time breakfast was over so the trip back to the GF was nice and easy.
