We ate here on our recent visit to the World. This was the 3rd time we have eaten at 50's and we love the atmosphere! It helps if you go into this restaurant in the correct mind set that you are going to be eating in a different time, when manners were important. Our waiter, Anton, was great-very talkative and outgoing. He wasn't hardcore about the dining experience but was able to go with the flow of his diners. He joked with both our table and the table next to ours and was able to link our tables together to make the experience more fun.

The only downfall was the food was lukewarm. I got the sampler platter and the meatloaf was delicious! The pot roast was good but very chewy and the chicken, good but cool. My daughter's chicken was warmer but still cool and my other daughter's pot roast was chewy as well. ?? My husband got the meatloaf but is a picky eater so wasn't sure he enjoyed it.

I recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere and most of the time, for the food. I think this was perhaps an off night as it was Christmas Eve, and a later reservation at that. If you are looking for a fun dining experience, try the 50's prime time.
