      Last Review Posted Beach Club Villas (Disney Vacation Club)
      This trip was approx. trip #25 in the last 8 years. We (14 year old daughter and I) were scheduled to stay at the Beach Club from 1/17/12 to 1/23/12. Tuesday when we arrived I didn't think the water was really hot in the shower. By Wednesday it was luke warm. I asked the front desk to have it fixed when I stopped by the front desk at about 6:45. I told them we were leaving for the day, so anytime after 8:00 they could have the room. I returned early in the afternoon and it still wasn't fixed. I again asked to have it looked at as we were headed out again. We returned at about 10:50 that night and still no hot water. I called down to the front desk and told them very clearly not to send anyone but I wanted it fixed tomorrow. Guess what - they send someone to look at it. She was very nice and agreed that at 104 degrees it is cool (that is full hot water and the shower was leaking). I was told that she could fix it tonight or tomorrow. I told her tomorrow was fine as it was going to take an hour to fix.


      The next day I stopped by the front desk to tell them that I couldn't believe they sent someone up after I requested them not to. I also told the girl at the front desk that we would be leaving for the day by 8:00 so anytime after that would be fine. I got my coffee at the marketplace and walked back to the room (room 175 which was towards the far part of the villas). A Disney guy was walking out of my room. I asked him if he just came out of my room and he said yes he was testing the water. I was upset that he was in there with my 14 year old daughter sleeping in the room. He stated that he was in the room yesterday at the same time (she was sleeping yesterday too)...what was my problem he asked me. He didn't see it as an issue. I told him to leave and not come back that we were checking out. I went into the room and told my daughter that we were switching hotels. I went to the front desk and asked to be moved to another hotel (which the manager granted) and explained how upset I was. I was in tears of the thought of having a grown stranger in my room with my daughter sleeping. I got back to the room and my daughter stated that the guy came back again because he forgot his radio. Totally disgusted that he did this again. No real apologies and no credit for any of the hot water issues which I didn't really care about in comparison to what they did. Totally disgusted with our treatment and that Disney apparently doesn't see this as a problem even though I called several people included DVC and Beach Club back offices.


      Saratoga was much better, the water was hot and the quick service meals were better. Saratoga also dropped off some snacks for us which was nice, a lot better than what we got from Beach Club.
