Last Review Posted Disney Transportation Boat, Monorail, Bus
Stayed at Boardwalk Inn from 10/29/12 until 11/5/12 and used the DW transportation almost every day. First the ferry boat to Hollywood Studios from our resort was very nice. It was pleasant and quick. This was not the same for the buses. We had to take buses to Downtown, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. The buses to downtown were shared with the Yacht Club, Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin. The buses to Magic Kingdom were shared with the Swan and Dolphin and to Animal Kingdom with those same two resorts as well as a stop at Blizzard Beach. The bus situation was very disappointing for what we were paying for our resort. The day we went to Animal Kingdom it took almost an hour to get there as well as to get back to our resort. There was not one time that we waited less than 30 minutes to get picked up. I fully believe Disney needs to look at the fact that the Boardwalk Inn should have its own bus line with the fact that it is a deluxe resort. When you are paying those prices you do expect a little more.
