Possible Hidden Mickeys in Pandora - The World of Avatar, Disney's Animal Kingdom

With Pandora - The World of Avatar, Disney's Imagineers created a richly detailed landscape of strange, unfamiliar images. As a result, folks continue to spot potential Hidden Mickeys here.

When you reach the lab along the Standby entrance queue of "Avatar Flight of Passage," look for this collection of small, different-sized bottles with black caps on a countertop. Two sets of three bottle caps might come together in the middle of the collection as classic Hidden Mickeys (especially the one on the left?). (Thanks to Allie).

Also in the lab are these drawings on a researcher's note paper. Do three of the black circles (at the upper left margin in the photo) form a sideways classic Mickey? (Thanks to Jason, and Bret Sohl).

Circles are in the design of some of the hanging lanterns along the entrance queue of "Na'vi River Journey." Do some of these circles simulate classic Mickeys? (Thanks to Aaron).

Outside in Pandora, near the main entrance to the land, check out an image in one of the rock seating areas. As you enter Pandora, find this rock seat on the right side of the walkway, not far past the interactive tree that stands near the bridge at the main entrance. Do these three holes in the rock surface look like Mickey? (Thanks to April Beisser).

Hidden Mickeys at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Let's study a few more possible Hidden Mickey images. As you might expect, Pandora - The World of Avatar is replete with unusual design elements. For example, lanterns and light fixtures of various shapes and sizes hang along the Standby entrance queue of "Na'vi River Journey." At the lower part of the cover of the following fixture, some of the dark threads might have suggestive classic Mickey shapes? (Thanks to Ryan Ott).

On Discovery Island, to the right of Adventurers Outpost (as you face the building), walk up to a totem pole with carvings of animals. It stands behind a wood fence. On the lower section of the pole, small circles are grouped on the right side of an elephant's headdress. Do three of these circles join to form a classic Hidden Mickey? (Thanks to Mandy Gainey).

Just inside the main entrance to Tiffins Restaurant, a large relief map of the world is on the wall behind the check-in counter. Disney parks are represented by castles. This photo shows the U.S. parks.

This second photo shows the other parts of the world. Do these castles qualify as Hidden Images? (Thanks to Bill and Kari Middeke).

Possible Hidden Mickeys in Animal Kingdom Lodge

If you study your surroundings, you can discover fascinating images in the detail of Jambo House - Animal Kingdom Lodge. Consider the following images:

These black circles are repeated on several antelope heads posted high around the main lobby. Do they qualify as Hidden Mickeys? (Thanks to Karen Ullman and Anthony Miele).

On your immediate right as you enter Boma Restaurant, this faint image traced high on a wall in the seating area seems to suggest a classic Mickey, or does it? (Thanks to Andrew Yturaldi).

Inside The Mara Restaurant, what do you think about this group of green tree leaves? Find them in the middle of the rear wall of the seating area. A sideways - to the left - classic Hidden Mickey? (Thanks to Andrew Yturaldi).

A fence has appeared in front of the first Hidden Mickey along the rear wall behind the water slide of the pool. It's even more difficult to spot!
