More New Walt Disney World Hidden Mickeys

Folks directed me to a few Hidden Mickeys I didn't know about at Walt Disney World. Let us know what you think about these images. Some of them are hard to spot!

Soon after you make the last right turn inside the entrance queue for Ariel's Grotto in the New Fantasyland, on the lower part of the rear wall near the floor on your left, a side profile of Mickey Mouse looking to the left is sculpted in relief on the wall. (Thanks to Angelica Dufer).

In an outside display window in the middle recessed area of the Emporium store on Main Street, U.S.A., a classic Mickey image is on a piano above the words "Steinmouse & Sons." The display window is under a sign that says "Collectibles." (Thanks to Octavio Perez).

In the gift shop at the exit of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, a female mannequin wears a black wrist bracelet that says "I love Mickey." It's difficult to photograph! (Thanks to Alexander Mack).

Along the outer walkway behind the Fossil Fun Games area in DinoLand, look for a sign on the fence that says "Games of Chance." An upside-down classic Mickey is made of gold spots on the upper left thigh of the blue dinosaur at the right of the sign. (Thanks to David and Aubree Serkoch).

Enjoy the Hunt!

More Hidden Mickeys at Storybook Circus, New Fantasyland

New Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom is packed with impressive new Hidden Images! I highlight below a few more Hidden Mickeys in the Storybook Circus section.

A poster of Daisy Duck ("Madame Daisy Fortuna") is outside to the left of the entrance to Pete's Silly Sideshow.

A faint classic Mickey is traced on the upper part of her light green blouse, just to the right of her right index finger. (Thanks to Priscilla Baer).

Eight tiny Mickey balloons are scattered around the large "Storybook Circus" painting at the rear of the tent over the FASTPASS machines for The Barnstormer and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. This tent is next to Pete's Silly Sideshow. You can spot a white Mickey balloon at the lower right of the photo below. (Thanks to Octavio Perez). DSC03753.JPG

Near the entrance to the FASTPASS queue for Dumbo the Flying Elephant, a classic Mickey is formed by a manhole cover (the "head") and two elephant tracks (the "ears"). (Thanks to Tracy Vesel and Maya Perez).

Not far from Storybook Circus, look for a popcorn Hidden Mickey in one of the Seven Dwarfs murals on the barrier wall between the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (under construction) and the Mad Tea Party attraction in Fantasyland. The mural features Sneezy carrying buckets of popcorn while Dopey is tickling his nose with a feather. The Mickey-shaped piece of popcorn is in front of Dopey's right foot. (Thanks to Octavio Perez).

The mural with the popcorn Mickey will probably disappear next year, so check it out while you can!

ESPN Wide World of Sports Hidden Mickeys

My son Steven and I enjoyed our annual Spring Training Baseball Game at Wide World of Sports.

This year, we watched the Atlanta Braves take on the Houston Astros. We lived in Houston way back when, so we're Astros fans. Of course, we're at Disney World, which is the Altanta Braves home base for Spring Training, so we were surrounded by Braves fans. No matter, everyone had fun at the game!

Each year, we check out the classic (three-circle) Hidden Mickey in center field, which was even harder to spot than usual. After the game, we climbed to the highest seats in the bleachers to get the best view. The image is made of faint slanted thin rows of grass.

Look above my index finger. The Hidden Mickey is in the grass near the fence.

After the game, kids are allowed onto the field to run the bases.

We strolled around the Wide World of Sports property to admire a few more of the Hidden Mickeys there. Mickey is still up in the rafters at The Milk House (Field House). I find him to the upper left of the lower seats of section 104.

Sometimes, you can spot classic Mickeys traced around pitcher's mounds on the softball fields. (Thanks to Sharon Dale and Michelle MacVane).

We had a great day at WWS, even though the Astros lost 3-2!
