Each holiday season, I enjoy checking out Disney seasonal decorations for Hidden Mickeys. For example, the gingerbread displays at Disney World Resorts usually sport Hidden as well as decorative Mickey images. One of my favorite places to explore is the Epcot Resort area. This year, I spotted some cool Hidden Mickeys on the Yacht Club lobby holiday display. Look for tiny Mickey balloons in the trees:
And a white classic (three-circle) Mickey image on the front door on this cottage:
A Hidden Mickey is in impressions in the snow on the mountain on the back side of the display, to the left of the "Cape May" sign:
An intriguing lighted Mickey image is in the snow on the ground:
Hidden Mickeys are appearing in the New Fantasyland! Inside the Be Our Guest Restaurant, walk to the West Wing room and stand in front of the rose at the rear of the room. Now turn and look up to your right to spot an amazing Hidden Mickey hole in tattered fabric hanging from the ceiling. It's difficult to photograph this image!
I was lucky to come across Phil Holmes, Vice President of the Magic Kingdom, in the Bonjour Village Gifts shop in New Fantasyland! In the photo, he's standing in front of the tribute painting of him hanging on the rear wall of the shop.
Kudos to Disney creative folks like Mr. Holmes and the Imagineers for creating new imaginative Hidden Mickeys for us to find!
