Hidden Mickeys and Disney Characters on the Disney Dream
I spent several days searching the Disney Dream for Hidden Mickeys. The ship is huge with 14 decks and countless nooks and crannies, but the hunt was fun and rewarding. It's also great exercise! I started at the top of the ship and worked my way down. Here's a white classic Mickey in a coffee cup on the 9th (last) hole of Goofy's Mini Golf Course on Deck 13 aft.
I walked down to Deck 5 to Disney's Oceaneer Club. If you have a child participating in the Club, you will be allowed to enter. Otherwise, ask when "Open House" is scheduled and return at that time to explore inside the Club. I admired Peter Pan and other characters in points of light on the ceiling.
I continued along Deck 5 to the Port Adventures Desk. On the wall across from the desk is a painting of the ship "Queen Minnie." A classic Mickey is on the middle side of the ship's cabin, between two doors.
Just inside the entrance to Remy, I was able to get a photo of the wine that Anton Ego (the restaurant critic) drank in the movie "Ratatouille." Only 32 bottles of this expensive wine exist!
Be alert for Hidden Images in your stateroom, in the huge central Atrium, and anywhere you see artwork and other ship details, such as in the restaurants, shops, theaters, and clubs. Be sure and have fun with the Midship Detective Agency Game, in which you try to solve a mystery by interacting with window artwork on various decks of the ship. Hidden Mickeys pop up at times in the game window images!
