The new attraction at Disney California Adventure Paradise Pier, “The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure,” immerses the guest in the Little Mermaid story and offers a few Hidden Mickeys and some other character images along the way. For example, Ariel is underfoot in the tile work along the entrance walkway to the attraction. (Thanks to Laura Wright).
Look up for a classic three-circle Hidden Mickey repeated in the upper decorative scroll work along the outside entrance queue. (Thanks to Juan M. Martinez III, Cindy McKeown, Evelyn Vides, Robert Powers, and Michael Buell).
At the lower left corner of the huge loading dock mural, above the green tile, three small circular impressions in a large rock form a classic Mickey. (Thanks to Michael Early, Michael Shearin, and Orlando Attractions Magazine).
The ride vehicle takes you past scenes and characters from the Little Mermaid story, including Ariel and Eric
and King Triton
This new attraction at Disney California Adventure is fun for the entire family. Ariel’s story unfolds in visual graphics and 3-D characters and colorful scenes, accompanied by much of the timeless musical score from the Disney movie. The attraction itself reminds me of popular Disney Fantasyland dark rides such as “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” at Walt Disney World and “Alice in Wonderland” at Disneyland.

In the under water scene look to your right, away from all the characters singing and you will see a large Mr limpet in fish form sticking his face out of the rocks.
I don’t know if I would call the Ariel in the first photo “hidden;” I like to differentiate between decorative elements (which she looks like) and true “hiddens” like the Mickey in the rock.
