I met up with Marc Lorenzo (a dad on the WDW Moms Panel) and his son Josiah at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. They wore great pirates’ costumes!
The Party was terrific fun, with many folks dressed in fabulous costumes. Later, Marc and I searched for Hidden Mickeys in the Wilderness Lodge Villas. (If you take a free informative tour of the Wilderness Lodge, be sure and ask your Ranger guide about the many Hidden Mickeys in the Lodge and Villas.) Marc and Josiah found a classic Mickey on the wall to the left of the front lobby elevators in the Villas, to the left as you enter the Villas. This Mickey is usually hidden by the fabric hanging on the wall; a real “hidden” Hidden Mickey!
Marc and I located a classic Mickey in the “train” room, which is on the right side of the main lobby. It’s etched in the rock at the outer left side of the fireplace, just below the wooden mantle. (Thanks to Connie Freese, and Alanna)
We next spotted another classic Mickey in the corners of a frame around a painting hanging on the right wall in the first room to the right of the Villas lobby entrance doors.
High along the hallways of the WL Villas are classic Mickey corner brackets. (Thanks to Deb Silhan)
Marc and I encourage Hidden Mickey hunters to visit the Wilderness Lodge and Villas to find some compelling, well-designed Hidden Mickeys. You won’t regret it!

We stayed at the lodge for the 3rd time in June this passed summer, and it was the first time we had a ranger give us a tour and history and hidden mickey locater! Ranger Joe was awesome and very informative! And I dont know if it counts, but it counts for us….. we had a pool/courtyard view this year on the 3rd floor and looking over our balcony, there is a shrub shapped as a mickey!
