Disney Pic of the Week: Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Deb's Digest Blog

As Scott mentioned yesterday, there are so many changes happening right now at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Wouldn’t it be nice to know what we can get excited about? Yea, I know, but it is being kept very quiet!

For my pic of the week, I go back to one of my favorite Disney Parks shows of all times, the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I loved this show and made a point to see it on every visit (which at the time wasn’t very often).

Fifteenth century France is brought to life before your eyes on the Backlot Theater stage, with colorful sets and brightly costumed performers in a magical musical staging of The Hunchback of Notre Dame — A Musical Adventure. The show closed on September 28, 2002.

Now close your eyes and hear the bells……………..

  1. Will be there at Paper Mill in March to see Hunchback. Have to agree that the Hunchback show at the Studios was wonderful and could not believe it left. Always crowded. Very poor decision. Anyway, I asked at box office about possibility of show going to Broadway and they said rumor has it as a yes. So hopefully!!

  2. Hi Deb,
You may have the opportunity to see this production again… just not at WDW. The musical stage show is playing at the Paper Mill Playhouse in NJ begining in March… and who knows? Maybe on a Broadway stage soon?!
